Hard to pass up but would one be able to unlock root and use with cspire ? My gf needs a device at cspire and I don't need two .....you'd have to live in ms to understand but cspire is really strong here I.e. I could sell her on the phone but not the sprint service....

I just got done buying an HTC One X to find out that it is locked and theres no exploit to unlock 2.20 which in short makes me sad.
If I were to purchase a Galaxy S3 today would I have trouble with rom/modding?
No, easy like Sunday mornin'

Probably, but this is the international OneX forum. You need the OneXL forum here.
I figured since hers is now unlocked I would come here.....:/

The hardware of the two devices is very different. So even though you have unlocked your AT&T version HOX, you will still have to refer to the AT&T HOX forums.

Hi,
is it possible to unlock Sprints Version of the Optimus G? I found this offer:
h ttp://sim-unlock.net/simlock/LG/Optimus_G_LS970/
It is clear that the Sprint-ROM will maybe make some problems but is it possible in general?
thanks
Unlock it for use on what? Worldwide?
The short answer is No since it is only CDMA and not GSM.
It's a scam. They also list phones like the Sprint Evo, Sprint Evo Shift, Sprint Photon, Sprint Photon Q.
Thats incorrect

That only applied to the US. And it's getting (or got) reversed. We had the signatures required

Mine come with the Cingular.wap APN I changed it to the Lte pta it lost internet connection

You need to change your APN to the ATT LTE and make sure it's set to LTE/GSM. Got a friend's T-Mo S4 up and running on ATT.. everything works flawlessly.

If you "found" it, then yes you should do the right thing and try to get it back to them. In any case, if/when the owner reports it as lost or stolen, the IMEI would be blacklisted and you'd have a useless GS4.
Yeah that's true. Well it don't matter i got my nexus 4 and Motorola Atrix HD all running official CM10.2

I do not believe the Verizon One hardware supports metropcs (t-mobile) AWS 4g (band IV?)
Do you have edge data?

you be better of using it on tmobile if anything
which apns did you put in
Well, the Verizon one may be unlocked, so you can put almost any SIM in it and have it work, but the hardware does not support all bands of LTE and/or frequencies.

yeah found out unlocked htc one dont really support tmobile/metropcs basebands well
Could always trade someone a Verizon HTC one for a t mo HTC one. Just because it's the same phone doesn't mean it has the same internals.
