[Q] What about Note 2 N7100 PIT file?

Hey,
At this time i think discuss about Note 2 PIT files by dr.ketan
I have some problem without PIT FILE.
I can't update without PIT file to my phone.
My phone is now little brick "Samsung logo hang on startup"
Please all Developers Request to me
Do something for me.

If you have flashed a stock rom: pull the battery do a data/factory reset and wipe cache in recovery and try rebooting again, and stay away from PIT files if it is not absolutely necessary mate.

I have stock rom but my phone not getting in the recovery mode thats y i can't make data/factory reset wipe.phone just logo hang on startup!
But download mode is ok when i make it flash via odin then odin say "fail" there is no PIT Partition.

Anyone Have Pit for Note 2?
Please tell me How to solved my problem?

Hey.. Im also having the same issue, If I select PDA file then Odin gives error of partition and after selecting the PIT file also its not going through..
please let me know how did you fix your issue?

When u r in download mode it writes at 2ond line the model of the phone? Gt-n7100
If the model of the phone is empty sorry but is sds issue.

how to fix this issue bro? my Gnote 2 also have the same issue. and now it won't boot to homescreen

If is not writing the product name at download mode is not possible to fix it. It is sudden death symptom (sds) needs new motherboard, sorry. Warranty return to Samsung

Altered PIT Files
Is there anyone here who can make altered pit files for the Note 2 N7100 like those for the S II I9100 ?

Does anyone has the 32gb version pit file?

AMAIK, no custom ROM changes the partition sizes of the Note 2, so PIT file is assumably not necessary. Flashing a whole stock firmware with Odin should unbrick.

emmc replacemet
sorry for all of your concern, but as far as i know, this kind of problem needs a replacement of what they call EMMC. you cant do anything do anything to resolve this problem but to replace that EMMC.

My download mode screen says:
ODIN MODE

So this mean my N7100 can be saved again? Stuck at "There is no PIT partition" too.

you might try a different port and/or a good usb cable(had the same issue with another samsung)

[Q] [Help] Wrong ROM Wrong Phone

Hello everybody
First I want to apologize for the possible mistakes i'm french and my english is not perfect.
I have made a huge mistake. I've take a ROM made for the Gnote 1 and flashed it on my GNOTE 2, I even flashed the kernel and the modem.
I've tried to solve the problem with KIES by restore the microsoftware but i have a permanent bootloop.
I hope that my phone is not dead.
If anyone have a solution it will be great.

Yes I can use Odin an Download Mode.But my fear is after the update via Kies i think that debug mode is not enable.

You don't need USB debugging to be enabled while flashing in download mode. Just get the official ROM tar for your specific version of cell and flash it through Odin. Get a complete ROM from reliable source which should also include modem.

Where can i find it ? When i download a rescue firmware in the specific thread there is only one file after unzip et no PIT file

Read first line on my signature
Post#1 have stock rom and post#4 you can find pit
If pit file is in zip then extract first then select for pit table (it will auto select reparations)
And select rom file for pda and flash

Finally i send it to samsung because flash with odin give me the same issues bootloop

Hi everyone.
Samsung call me back to give me some news of my phone. They ask me 200$ to repair it, because they told me that the motherboard was damaged. Is there any solution ? They don't take the warranty because of the root. Is there a way to put the flash counter to zero with the recovery ? I mean flash a file by the recovery.

Is there any Indian 3 file firmware,,, i have tried all but couldn't find any one???So, If i have to use pit file so i have to use with with one file firmware or there is any Indian 3 file firmware??

Here you have Indian FW but I think they are only One Package.
It doesn't matter when flashing with .pit file.

No, it doesn't matter. The firmwares for Note 2 come with a single file, generally the Modem is included in the file. You can flash a Modem or a kernel separately later with Odin, if anything is wrong with your current one.
And in Odin you don't need to touch anything, the default settings are okay.

Auto reboot is only useful if you want that the phone reboots itself once the firmware is flashed. You can also put the battery out.
There's nothing more before clicking on START expect usual advices about Odin: Run Odin as Admin, battery charged (>70%), Kies process are closed, official usb cable without any extension...
One or 3 files doesn't matter for me. The 3 files are useful if you only want to flash a specific partition like the modem.

what does NAND ERASE do???

I suggest you to do nothing with Nand erase... i have read it can brick ur phone..

[Q] HELP !! PIT file re-partition Galaxy Note 2 SGH-I317 ATT

Hello there i am really in need of some help with a huge problem i am stock at, I have a Galaxy Note 2 SGH-I317 ATT, i had a hard brik on the phone and i was able to bring it back with a jig. but now the recovery mode is not available and when trying to get to it, nothing displays just a white screen full of whitenoise static. the ONLY thing i can do with the phone is to set-it in dowload mode, but everytime i try to flash anything to it is says "NO PIT PARTITION AVAILABLE" and the it exits.
Does someone please have a PIT file and a flashable recovery image that goes with that PIT file for the SGH-I317 ? i am really desperate.
when the phone is turned on like i mentioned before the Galaxy Note 2 logo does not appears and the recovery system appears to be corrupted.
so i guess the my only hope will be someone to provide me the PIT file and the recovery image that goes with it to be able to flash my phone back to life.
I will really appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Pit plus stock package may get you back. Use lj2 if you have the official 4,3 bootloader, otherwise either is fine. In odin put pit in pit and stock package in PDA, check repartition box and flash.

But it's a week of your time and about $100.00 of your money...
Contact them as a last resort...but until then...listen to the guy above me....as he is the most qualified user I know when it comes to PIT flashing and partition repair...

please help me! I downgrade my note 2 i317 to 4.1.1 then update it via ota. (it was running 4.4.2 before downgrading it) now after the ota update it just stuck on Samsung logo. I tried flashing it to stock rom again but it just wont get pass Samsung logo and I cant even put it on recovery mode. what should I do?
