Maybe not by Chainfire, I remembered him because he had released a repack of IMM74K;
Found these 2 links:

Could someone help me out
I have an att 4.3 s3 with a kt747 kernel and cwm.
How can I update to 4.4.2?
Do I have to reverse the custom kernel and custom recovery?
Enewman17 has two threads in the General section for updating. Use one of those for best results. If you simply want the ota, you'll have to flash stock 4 3 firmware.

Hey Doc
I'm still having trouble understanding the threads. Do both the threads take you to kitkat? Could you help me out and link me to the correct thread?
in those threads neither mentions having a nonstock kernel. Does it matter?
Thanks!

If you take time to read them, it will answer all your questions. Yes, they're Kitkat and having a custom kernel is actually needed to flash through recovery.
I suggest you take time to read and understand what you're doing before actually doing it. All the info is in the General section, just gotta take the time.

I agree, but if you try and flash Alliance as of right now with stock kernel it'll unfortunately break WiFi. I'm working on a fix

the stock.img file that is in the above post IS the stock kernel..
The upload is not working. It will cause you to soft-brick at the Samsung T-Mobile screen upon boot. If you're looking for the G925T stock kernel, do not use the provided link above. Instead, download the G925T stock rom from an official source, open it with winwar, then copy the boot.img from there. Done. All you need.
