[Q] How do i install BoostHD rom on my arc s

hey,
i am new here and not sure if this is right place to ask but if you would kindly tell how to install the boosthd rom plz. Its my first rom installation and not sure how to do it

thanks for the help, but now i can't figure out how to install the kernal. do u have to rename it to boot.img or something

Either rename or use fastboot flash boot bootanzu126.img, presuming you are downloading this kernel.

i am uploading the boot.img of stock kernel 2.6.35 i want the other files which are required to make a flashable .zip kernel
please provide requried files and make a zip and post to me
please i request u all

You don't order devs to make something for you.

sorry for that, im just not in a good mood today, things happened, anyhow what he uploaded is stock kernel pulled from stock rom and he is ordering people around to test the flashable zip that he made if it works

definitely and Jonny asking for a source code is awkward, since the source is from samsung website and sammys source cannot even boot when not modded

yes i wrote it in description that this is just stock kernel which was backuped mby a method i got from a website
and i am asking someone to test it

let me explain to you why u got so many negative feedback,
1. you posted on development section a backup of a stock kernel (what were u developing?)
2. you want devs to test a stock kernel? (what for?) you have stock kernel when u bought the phone?
3. if you want anyone to test a kernel, you should also upload the source(if it was a custom kernel)
4. You spammed development section by posting a thread which only contains boot.img and the other with your so called flashable zip
5. you act so RUDE, as if you are ordering people around here(what you are trying to do is very3 ancient news, use search button?)
6. you should have searched before doing all the actions above..there were kernel flashers by mai77 method or by faqbly method, and you can get stock boot.img by going to dokys stock ROMs to be flashed via odin,
7. DONT SPAM every reply, there is a button called multi quote
(DONT FEEL BAD, XDA IS A VERY WELCOMING PLACE)

Even if you post a stock kernel binary, still needs source or a link to the source (ie, opensource.samsung)...
As for it not booting, that's Samsung's problem

[Q] Cyanogenmod 11 rom install

Hello everyone i want to install this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735775 on my wildfire s but i am facing a problem. I have downloaded the newest zip file of the rom and when i try to flash it using cwm it writes :installation aborded. Zip file status (0).
What wrong i do guyes or is there any step that i had to do and haven't done it? Some accurate help (because i am pretty new at rooting etc) would be much apreceated!! Thank you for you time.

Thanks man! Two more questions, how i flash the recovery? Probably stupid question but i don't know the way..
After flashing the recovery i can just flash the zip rom or is there enything else it needed to be done ??

There is too many way to flash custom recovery. For that you can use my signature (there is a link for CWM).
And if you need to know about custom recovery then read these Tutorial - 1, Tutorial - 2, Tutorial - 3 or use search option on XDA.

Done it! Have upgraded and installed the rom!! All work fine! Just a little problem.. There is no Play Store.. Any suggestions ??
Oh! I almost forgot! And when newer editions or this rom are released how do i update?

Just read the OP, you'll find everything You can update that ROM via OTA or fresh flash.

Just flash the gapps via CWM (same as ROM flashing)
All instruction are available on that thread. If you have any question regarding CM11 on WFS then you need to read thoroughly that thread.

i see oliver is leading the development but the thread is way above my competence level
i tried downloading the zip and Gapps zip for it but a status 0 error, thread talks about this but i dont understand most of what is said
can someone give me an idiots guide pls?

You need a newer recovery.
And NO I will not tell you how to flash it............the sticky threads(the first few ones) have links for the guides

first flash new recovery with fastboot
then flash cm11
reboot
flash gapps
reboot

I want to update my phone to cyanogenmod 12 but when I flashing room in recovery i can't because there is a error with flashing. I don't know what is wrong. I used tutorials from forum and from youtube. Can you help me?

yes read the OP in CM12 thread in original android section, you need to migrate to newlayout and then flash CM12. If you don't have idea what is NL then read the thread for the New Layout again in original android section

I doing flash in nl and this same information "error with flashing"
I add when I chose check file signature i see file signature fail
