i'm afraid i made a mistake and brick my sgy
can you give me screenshot tutorial sir? i'm newbie here
i don't think terma kernel will solve your problem,
i've tried since the first time dxlc1 realesed, it didn't boot and you cannot access the recovery, so you must flash again using odin.
but if you wanna try, just give it a try, thanx
Just use link2sd[Root required]
If you are only concerned on moving apps to sdcard
It's lot easier...

Hi all, at first I hope, dear Admins, that you won't delete my thread. (Sry if I break some rules, but I just messed up with my telephone and need very much for someone's help)
So I installed cyanogenmod9 (Android version 4.0.4;cyanogen 9-20120708-UNOFFICIAL-gio) and I didn't like that(maybe cuz im too stucked into original android version) and wanted to uninstall it SOMEHOW. Tried in reboot menu to wipe data, and etc. But still it won't help me. When I fix that and I will get answer, you can lock the thread. Thx.

Go into this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1407
Pick a ROM with Gingerbread (Android 2.3.x) and install it like you installed CM9 before (in Recovery).
I recommend this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1654317
If you want to install Stock ROM you have to use Odin.

Type into google: "Galaxy Gio Flash Stock ROM with Odin"
But I recommend you that install enhanced 2.3.6, because it's much smoother than stock rom and it's 2.3.x too.

great "tip" on "stock" 2.3.6, thx.
This is a fully bloated stock flashable ROM. Don't ask for more features or to have it de-bloated. This is out here only to help those that need it and give other's a base to build a custom ROM from.
Features:
Rooted
Deodexed
Zipaligned
init.d support
insecure kernel
All bloat left and she's a fatty
Instructions:
From 100% stock..
Copy the ROM to your sdcard
Use Odin to flash CWM recovery for the N7100 located here: recovery-cwm-6.0.1.4-n7100.tar
In Odin make sure auto-reboot is unchecked, and flash recovery
Once recovery has flashed, hold Volume Up + Home + Power to get into CWM Recovery
In recovery flash the ROM and reboot.
This ROM is big.. it will take some time to flash so be patient.
Download:
deodexed_UVALJ1.zip
Not produced using Samsung Firmware. The system.img and boot.img used were pulled from my running device using "dd".

You might want to add that this is made from a nandroid and not from stock firmware which hasn't been released by Samsung/Tmobile

<Douche Disclosure> <--- WOW! So childish, insulting, and rude.
"Only the official Samsung firmware that came installed on my device was used" <--- Nandroid is not the same as stock firmware, no matter how you want to spin it. Since you are a so called "Recognized Developer" you should know that, but I digress.

Bad day or not, we have to be nice and courteous to others. This applies to everyone, not just certain people.
Having said that, thank you for taking the time for getting this out to the public. Nice job.

BIG BIG credit to luser01.
Thanks . good to see you here. I remember you from the vibrant. You were'nt joking its big 835 MB at least it downloaded 2.5mb/sec.
I have done a bit of searching using Google and the good ol' search here in XDA, but dont seem to be
making much progress on figuring out how to make a flashable .zip from an Odin firmware.
Can anyone lend me a hand in finding a tutorial or guide possibly?
Cheers!

Not sure. If it wasn't for the locked bootloader I'd already have one. I am waiting to see if the devs can get it unlocked.

There is too many way to flash custom recovery. For that you can use my signature (there is a link for CWM).
And if you need to know about custom recovery then read these Tutorial - 1, Tutorial - 2, Tutorial - 3 or use search option on XDA.
fine

Just flash the gapps via CWM (same as ROM flashing)
All instruction are available on that thread. If you have any question regarding CM11 on WFS then you need to read thoroughly that thread.
