Hi,
I have flashed my phone today with hellboy kernel and aokp_primou jan 15-13.
Great rom only by incoming calls no ringtone even by you tube no sound.
if i touch the volume control with + and - (on the side from the phone)
than i hear beeps.
I try another hellboy kernel but nothings changed.
Has someone an idea ?
By stock sense rom everything is okay that means de harware is not broken.
Maybe i try an earlier aokp rom.
Already thanks for answering,
Greats Harold
Same problem
I got exactly the same problem!
Did you solve it with flashing an earlier aokp rom?
Thanks

I got the same problem with the guy who posted this one, if I do a full wipe will I need to do another flash of the AOKP ROM?
Thanks in advance.
If you just do a wipe, just the user data is erased. Therefore,no need to flash again.

Would you if this would resolve my issue with data usage on my phone, I am on a plan with unlimited data surfing but when I choose to turn on my data connection and it wouldn't work.
BTW thanks for the wiping part, it did work on my phone.
Thank you!
Yes,its a common problem.you have to reboot your device in order to enable data.sometimes my data is not enabled even if left on overnight.or,you have to switch it on and off many times for it to work.
There's also the carrier to blame in such situations.

Thanks so much, I'll complete it later. Got one last question, I know its out of this thread but couldn't find the right answer in other forum. Videos are not working as well and I haven't got a clue on how I can play music with this custom ROM in my SD card.
Please help me on this. Thanks alot!
Just install MX player from playstore for videos and, isn't there a music player already provided in the Rom(can't remember).if not, download poweramp from playstore.

You have probably wiped data too which is a factory reset. Run your back up or reflash.

i reflashed an old version 2.3.4 and every thing is working fine, got an OTA update on phone and downloaded the update using wifi and it turned off as the part of update process, thats it and never turned on :crying::crying::crying:
i tried again to flash the same version but never worked!!! what can i do now
Flash THIS with the flastool and report back.
i tried that just now and it does the same result, after flashing the .ftf file it says to take the cable off and turn it on. It never turns on but when i press the power button it blinks the green LED (donno what it does mean!!)
any ways thanks for your suggestion.
Try THIS instead, if that doesn't work then not sure.

Excellent. Sometimes we just can't see the wood for the trees, myself included.
Hey all,
Last night I was finishing work and picked up wifi on the way at a free hotspot at a place I frequently pass through. I then got home and attempted to connect to my home network but nothing. No networks were visible. I looked at wifi settings and turned it off then on again but it now just sits there saying "Turning Wifi On". I have tried WiFi Fixer but it just attempts to reset the wifi to no avail. I tried using 3G instead which functioned fine
I did a Nandroid backup and attempted to do a factory reset but this didn't work. I then did a full wipe and reinstalled the ROM I was using but still nothing. I thought maybe there was a problem with that so then decided to try another ROM but still nothing.
Any ideas on this guys as it's driving me mad. I'm guessing possibly a hardware issue
Many thanks in advance

I have been using Android Revolution HD Mod 9 and the stock kernel that is comes with. I'm really hoping this isn't the wifi antenna issue I've seen a little about but I think it's probably looking that way.
One things is I couldn't delete any access points (ie clicking on it and selecting forget network). Not sure if that's relevant at all

Try a complete new install/flash :
Put the Rom.zip on your phone
extract the boot.img from the Rom.zip and put it into your fastboot folder
go into bootloader
(open cmd -> go to the path where your fastboot package is (cd c:/....) -> fastboot flash boot boot.img -> fastboot erase cache)
boot into recovery
wipe data factory reset
wipe cache
wipe dalvik cache
then format cache/data/system
flash rom.zip
reboot
and hope that it´s not the hardware :/

Ok this is very weird. It has now started to work again while I've been at my parent's house. At one point though, again it stopped working. This is very weird indeed. If it happens again I'll try CM10 and see if it still does it but at the moment it is ok. I'm not sure if it's hardware or software related now. I don't really want to have to send it back as they will probably struggle to find the fault and to be honest, I would struggle to do without my phone for a couple of weeks. I'll see how it goes and see if it happens again.
Thanks for the help guys
This has been happening for a week or so now and I can't seem to work out why! It seems random that when I open the messaging app it just crashes, then sometimes that seems to cause a chain reaction and everything starts crashing meaning I have to reset it with the power button. The problem tends to persist unless I power down, wait and turn the phone back on. I didn't have the problem on the rom for a long time (Jellybean 4.1.2 for Endeavoru AOSP Build [JZO54K]) it just seemingly started happening at random. I tried a new rom with a new boot.img (aokp_endeavoru-ICJ-V3.4) which seemed to hold the problem off for a few hours but now its started on that one! I've also ruled out any apps because I made sure I didn't restore anything from my gmail account.
Any ideas?

Cheers for the quick reply man,

Hey guys, this is my first post to XDA-Developers so I hope I will not **** up something.
I had problems with my P6, because the volume was really, really low. So I found tutorial on this site where someone recommended to delete codec folder
(system/etc/audio/codec)
So I did delete this folder and rebooted my phone, it seriously gave boost to my volume and it was cool. But problem is, people have troubles to hear me. They don't hear me clear while I'm calling with them, weird thing is, it only does when I'm calling via classic calling, when I'm calling with Viber, I sound clear. So if you somehow help me, how to stay with boosted volume but with clear calling again, I would be really glad. Otherwise, can someone please upload original "codec" folder? Because I would rather have lower sound than issue where no one can hear me.
Also, this site is awesome, so much helpful advices here! Thank you, stay awesome!
That can be a common issue, I would recommend installing the rom again, a suggestion would be to use the china b188 as volume is much louder

I would like to try adding back that folder before reinstalling whole phone..Because installing the rom again is basically same thing as resetting phone to factory settings right?

Guys, I would still rather appreciate if someone just take a minute and upload that codec folder. I will give you a cutest picture of cat on the internet. And if it doesn't help, then I will probably have to reset phone to factory settings.

If u do factory restet it will not put back codec folder. ( from where he will get it, u deleted it )
To get all back to stock u must update your phone with some stock rom and then u will get back that codec folder.
u sugess to use B122 or B118 what can be found on XDA
And next time read all topic not only first page, in that topic can find 2 more sugestions how tune up heanphones sound.

Okay, I installed B122 Rom and problem is solved.
Hello all! This is my first time rooting and posting! I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676686 to root the phone, then after unlocking did a reset in recovery, did a full backup, and installed http://d-h.st/Wsy (cm9) as well as gapps ( http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip). After reboot everything runs great, but I have a wifi issue. When I swipe, it just says turning on wifi and hangs. Nothing ever happens. I checked advanced options, and the MAC address and IP address are "unavailable". It's under Virgin Mobile, currently I have no service active, so I use it as a media player. Can a brother get some help over here? Thank you kindly.
