Since I can't post in Development, can we get a current list of apps to freeze in TitaniumBackup on the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II?
4.1.1 or 4.1.2 which I flashed to has apps running in the background that I don't need but I haven't found a current list of recommended apps to freeze or completely uninstall.
I wanted to [ img ] this but being a new user and this website being so irrationally locked down, I can't link it:

I am rooted on a custom ROM. There are several apps that show running when I looks up the applications settings, that I never use. Such as;
Sprint voice mail. ( I use Google voice)
AP News. I never use that widget.
Can I just use root explorer and go into system/app and delete the .apk ? Would that permanently remove those ?
Sprint Galaxy S2 w/ Calk's 1.5a + ICS 1.6
Use Titanium Backup, ROM Toolbox, or a similar app to uninstall/freeze the apps you don't want/need. These apps require root, and allow you to uninstall system apps, or freeze them so that they never run in the background.
I personally do not vouch for the accuracy of the list but you might find this thread of interest:

Hi all....I'm running cm9 on my W....really happy with it. I also have Gemini App Manager which allows me to freeze and uninstall (some?) Apps. If I were to uninstall something that I later found that I needed, am I right in thinking that by 'reflashing' the cm9 zip (which is still on my phone) I'd get the apps back.....in other words re installing cm9 would be like doing an emergency recovery to stock via kies....except it's recovering the cm9 instead of stock?......I think I'm already pretty sure of the answer....but I just wanted to check with the experienced before I started culling my apps.....
With regards to Gemini....will it delete the packaged user apps that came with cm9 (apps like maps/street view/latitude, default browser and video maker)? Or just the user installed apps? And are there any user apps that I REALLY shouldn't uninstall? And are there any SYSTEM apps that the W doesn't need and are safe to delete?

Hello... is there any bloatwareremover for the galaxy tab 3 10.1 gt-p5200 available ?
Hello,
Just root your tablet and use Titanium Backup to remove bloatware. That`s what i did
Hope this helps
How do you keep in gone
I rooted mine and used TB to freeze some of the bloatware.
when I selected my calendar (aCalendar+) I needed to reset the defaults all in order to make my choice stick.
Immediately I did the reset, everything I had frozen or deleted re-appeared.
Any idea how to stop this happening?
previously I owned Note n7000 ,on that device I was able to restore all backup with data .
but since I bought Note II , I can restore app but no data , if I restore app + data , aaps wont open ,gives error-----suddenly stopped .
I am talking about same backup created on note ii ,so it should work but it does not.
I am using Note ii ,Ks prerooted 4.3 rom ,titanium backup pro ver.6.1.0
Please anyone help me ouy
I was having everything right with my stock note 2 but I formatted recently to boost performance but after factory reset I updated every single thing of phone but new s note update not showing on Samsung apps...
you can have it separate apk from the folded of any rom and move to your phone and install it
Use Samsung apps for new updated snote. You will be able to find the new snote application.
