a few more pieces of information needed. are you stuck in a bootloop or does this only happen once and then all is ok. what roms have you tried? are you doing a full wipe in between flashes? superwipe? fastboot -w? when did this start hapening? can you boot into recovery? logcat?

If you mean twrp you can apply themes or even just edit them on the device. If you mean the Acer bootloader, no.

Have to ask him, AFAIK no one has altered the boot loader on the a100. The a500 yes, but we use the a200 boot loader to unlock, hence the distortion on the Acer screen.

What IMG? Recovery? I dunno, I don't use windows. There's a few kitchens that can do boot.IMG which will maybe work for recovery.
Sent from my Nexus 7 - JBSourcery 4.1
Yes the recovery .img.
Because I know there are script for the a500 but it does not work I try. But you say that the a200 has help my bootloader? It means I can take the script a200?

There are flash image gui but my tablet is not compatible so I am looking for a way, JHA already successful has change the image that is in the paramettre I'm just looking for a still customize my tablet.
Sent from my A100 using XDA Premium HD app
Sounds a bit risky, why do you want to change it?
Sent from my A100 using xda app-developers app
I think im still not getting what you want to do, you say recovery then you say bootloader....
What recovery do you even use? Twrp can use themes, cwm in not sure about. If you just want a new splash screen when twrp starts it can probably be swapped out.
OK lets do this, link the pic you want as the twrp start picture and ill see about sticking it in there.
Sent from my Nexus 7 - JBSourcery 4.1
I got openrecovery 2.3.3.0, you say that there are themes? have you a link? and in which file I can paste them? How can I change to personalize one can more! I try waiting a fix pio_masaki for its 10.1 wifi I even step reinstall my application but the only things I get to do the image paramettre with the 'framework tool' application

Bingo - and you have not made a nandroid backup before - correct?
Ya never
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
Do I need to do a back up and will it mess with my root at all ??
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
Well, you can make factory reset or full wipe, can't you?
Your contacts, apps settings etc. might have been synced, but only if you enabled that.
If you want to do more recovery: there is possibility do do backup (before wipe!) from Custom Recovery and on your computer extract some files from it (by mounting it's SD card).
Thank u

Hello, i have the SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 2 GT-N7105 & have just had it unlocked.....i know its not a big problem but on starting up the phone the original Network Logo (3) starts up......will Rooting get rid of this or is there an easier solution?
Cheers in advance.....
Well try flashing a stock rom. That might fix it without rooting
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Yes rooting will open doors to remove and change that from apps or frameworks. There is no need to change the rom.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
If you want to lose any bloatware as I did from my 3uk n7105 I rooted then flashed ace 4.9. Highly regarded as the best stock missed ROM. I'm currently running latest stable AOKP with uneak kernel

Hi. I own a Sony xperia as. I was on cm 10.1 RC2 and decided to flash 4.1 stock ftf using flashtool. After many failed attempts I flash yakundu's stock zipaligned and rooted ROM after wiping. But I got the boot animation followed by exclamation mark in a triangle.
Luckily the recovery was still accessible so I reflashed cm 10.1 rc 2.
After this I tried several other 4.1 ROMs like trinity etc but the same thing happens again and again.
Any idea how I can go back to 4.1?
Thanks!

what are you wiping before flashing?

I've switches from 4.2 to 4.1 before why is this happening only now ?
Sent from my Xperia S using xda app-developers app
its a repair process that checks and fixes anything wrong
flash stock 96 firmware and leave it be
Sent from my Xperia S using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Flashed and waited. The phone just switched off.
Meanwhile tried flashing 10.2 alpha 1 and had no problems.
Sent from my Xperia S using xda app-developers app
Hmm
Well do you have any mounting issues on a stock 96 kernel
Sent from my Xperia S using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
No i was able to mount/unmount system data etc while on doomkernel v6
Sent from my Xperia S using xda app-developers app
Did it boot after it turned off
And what did you do when you first saw it
Sent from my Xperia S using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Not by itself. I had to do it.
Sent from my Xperia S using xda app-developers app
When I first saw it I turned the phone off immediately then booted it again and heaved a sigh of relief when I confirmed that the recovery was working.
Sent from my Xperia S using xda app-developers app
Well charge your battey , load a stock kernel and leave it , and if your lucky you may get it to boot
It is part of the kernel, and must not be disturbed otherwise it may result in a hard brick
Or so rumoured
Sent from my Xperia S using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Will look into it

I first had the same exclamation mark when I flashed back the stock .96 rom, and now having it every time I reboot the phone. As well as phone is ok, I started ignoring it.

Guys, I know what he's talking about. He's not talking about the wrench and spanner logo with the bar at the bottom. It's a different image by itself, which just has an exclamation mark with the phone lying under it. Like the dead Android when your flashing goes wrong. Except, all the flashing was successful, it booted through the kernel, but was unable to boot into system. That's what I think is happening. I tried mounting and unmounting and re mounting his system, but nothing worked. In the recovery, flashing is successful, but it's unable to boot into the system.

I don't
The poster is my friend and I saw it first hand. I wanted to clarify that it wasn't the flashing logo, and hoped to find a solution from you guys. Gonna try flash tool and see what happens, though.
