Try flashing the boot.img only, make sure to clean cache and dalvik cache.
Under mobile network try to do a manual search.

yes from fastboot as well as from recovery !!

Hmmm i am starting to lose the confidence in the hboot firmware update. I am seeing more and more reports of this problem. My opinion :
its always the best thing to update officially with a nandroid backup !
This way you avoid radio/ril problems ..... but its to late for that now, the solution ..... I don't have it
Try to flash from scratch again, wipe ALL from recovery even format the sdcard and copy only the rom.zip back on it.
Flash the boot.img and install this script right before you install the rom !
http://db.tt/eLoVUcRc
(Install it the same way as a rom - install zip from sdcard and continue to install it)
Then the rom, and also choose in the aroma full wipe and also very important (this might be the problem!!!) The question about the custom kernel ....choose NO !

You could try getRIL from play store.

[Q] My HOX (HTC One X) wont install sense roms

Hello,
I have recently bought a second-hand HTC One X. When i bought the HOX it was rooted running the viper x 2.0.0 rom. I decided to change the rom to cyanogen 10 nightly. It was working fine but then i decided to install slim bean 3.0.0 and this was working fine too (this is what i have on my HOX right now). What i would like to do is install viper x 2.0.0 again or another sense-based rom. However i tried doing this and it does not boot. When i install it, it just loads the htc logo and then reboots again back into clockworkmod recovery?
I have tried various sense-based roms and none of then work? Also i know viper x 2.0.0 works because it was on there when i bought it.
Please can someone give me instuctions on how to do it.
Thanks in advance
P.S When i try to install the viper x or other sense-based rom i flash the boot.img using 'fastboot flash boot boot.img'
I have just fixed it i installed the latest version and worked the one i was installing must have been a ota update? anyway if u are stuck like me read this
after flashing the boot.img try "fastboot erase cache" it should work
erase cache always
Thanks for reply

Yes, i know this because i use winrar to extract the boot.img from the viperx.zip
What do u think i should do to make it work?
I was thinking do i need to flash a kernel that works for the viperx to work or does the viperx.zip already have a kernel inside the file?
At the moment i have : 2.6.39.4-cyanogenmod because i have slimbean installed which is based on cm10

11. I rebooted the HOX in the aroma installer

The only thing i can think of is a bad download .....
If you flashed the kernel in fastboot, did a full wipe (superwipe script) and flash the rom it should boot ... It's just as simple as that !
And I don't see a modified boot.img in the OP of the blade rom either so that's not it !
I would gladly test it on my hox with 1.36 hboot but I can't until tomorrow in the evening .a

when you said you still can boot into viperx, you reflash the viperx ROM or just a reboot after failed attempt to boot Blade, it boots to viperx ?
Edit: It is either you use the superwipe script provided by MarcelHofs to really make a full wipe
or on your previous step that you mentioned:
1)flash boot .img
2)wipe date/factory reset
3)Wipe cache
4)wipe davlik cache
** format system <---- do this too
5)install zip from sd card

I think there is no need for you to waste your time to test the ROM. If he run your superwipe script, it should boot.
Check your PM.
What I personally did:
1. format /system
2. wipe data/factory reset
3. clear dalvik and erase cache
4. flash ROM
5. flash boot.img
No problem..

Clockword Mod I/O Error

I flashed Cyanogen Mod 10.1 beta 5 (latest one when I flashed) on my One X and all was working fine for a few days, then the system randomly shutdown and on reboot got stuck into bootloop. I opened up clockwork mod but occasionally I get this message
Failed to open cache/recovery/log_data
(I/O Error)
Also if I go into "Advanced" and try to mount data, cache, sd card, etc I get an error saying that it can't
This happens around once a day and the only way I can get out of bootloop is to factory reset my phone
I've flashed new roms, even gone back to Android 4.1 but I still get the same error message.
I've reasearched and found nothing on this and have no clue what to do and help will be greately appreciated

There is no harm in manually mounting partitions how the op describes.
I make quite a few framework edits and it can cause problems changing the framework while android is running.
I quite often manually mount system in cwm as its easier than doing "adb shell mount /system"
But for the average user there is little need to do it as the installer scripts automatically mount the partitions that they need

Problem after installation of custom ROM on HTC one X

Hi,
This is my first post (and sorry for my bad english)
I got a problem with my HTC one X, yesterday, I try to install the custom ROM ViperX 2.6.0 and after the installation, the ROM works but I am blocked on pin code because the touch doesn't work and the 3 buttons at the bottom to. The only buttons who work are power, vol up and down.
So, since yesterday, my HOX is bricked because I didn't make back up and I don't find good version of RUU and I can't send files on the SDcard.
How can I unbrick my phone (with the custom ROM or reset my HOX with RUU)?
My HOX's caracteristics:
cid : HTC__203
version : 3.18.401.1

Thanks for your reply, you must be right, but I don't know how mount usb storage works.
When I select "mount USB storage" on recovery, it doesn't work and there is "E : unable to open ums lunfile (No such file or directory)"
Flash a newer recovery. Yours is outdated.

Then install the viper 3.7.4 just like you did with the 2.6. It booted so you did the correct steps.

were you on stock ics or jellybean. that fault used to occur on stock ics when using cwm. you could flash twrp recovery or newer cwm and see if you still get the fault
beaten by @Mr Hofs
I flashed a newer cwm, flash viper x 2.7.4 and it works.
So my problem was a older version of the custom rom and I needed a newer version of recovery to mount sd card and flash with other custom rom.

Why do people mess around even before reading !!!
You flash a boot.img via fastboot commands on the pc. The boot.img is located inside the rom.zip file !
I strongly suggest you start reading here
