Can't wait to see this baby. I didn't think that you were working with this phone. I was used to seeing you with the e4gt. I remember when you brought out the first jelly bean leaks for the e4gt. I was pretty pumped. I'm surprised to see you here but I already know how good you are at what you do so in one thanks in advance.

I have to say. Even though this is a pure aosp device sprint continued to beat big red with their updates.
I didn't download and test this but sextape is a name associated with new updates and leaks so deff worth a peek.

thanks for posting this. can't wait to see what goodies (ahem.. radio) are pulled from this and used in the custom ROM threads.
I wonder how long it'll take for the update to be pushed. The last one took about 9 days from the date listed on the kernel.
Link is up!

It will probably be released in odin compatible form which means that likely we will have to wait until he releases helmdall files than somebody will have to make a cwm flashable version.

There are builds released every 3-6 days. I can't share the links because you have to go on IRC. I can tell you though that today's build added a sweet weather display on the lock screen. And now you can let the slide ICS lock screen come up before entering your pattern or code. Just hit up IRC and ask someone. No biggie

The leaked version is FG01, its the exact same file they'll start pushing out. Using it with ODIN would be the same. That said, some people just want to wait for an ota, and that's OK too.

Never a good idea to accept an ota when rooted and rom'd. This is especially true if your ROM is JB and you accept an ICS ota. It is still fresh in the community's hands but rest assured anything of value from this small update will be integrated into community ROMS.

The official radio was posted on July 16 out of the FG01 by Sextape. Initially he didn't want to release the full FG01 so he just did the radio, but after a few days changed his mind and released the whole enchilada. So, if you head to that link you can grab just the radio if that is all you're interested in.
no one should be including radios in roms.
and there was a cwm flashable zip of the radios made teh day they leaked
Is there any advantage to flashing that radio? I'm on the jellin Rom, with fd02 radio.

FYI to everyone this is not actually a JB leak. This 100% ICS. We do believe that it is the transition build for the JB OTA.

Just saying that I'm extremely upset..
Would like to know if anyone who flashes this notices problems like with the other stock ics versions. Those never ran quite right for me and had bad battery life. (I think I just vomited in my mouth for being yet one more person to bring up battery life)
All the OTA roms I've used so far have seemed more like alphas.

Photosphere is only available on 4.2 ROM's/cameras. I don't think Samsung would include a feature from 4.2 into their 4.1 ROM. Oh, and why is this in development lol? I reported this to get it moved to general. This was probably also for the i9100 not T989...
No the SGH-T989 not is a International model. The international is the I9100.XD
Can anyone else confirm this?
I just had my finger on the "Move" button and saw your report come in.
Moving this to General.
This will be the thread for this update. If anyone sees any others pop up, refer them to this thread and report and I will close them down.
Congrats guys. Obvious questions will arise, so just be prepared.
What size is the download package?
What is the full name of the package?
Can someone pull it from /cache before they install, so the modem can be pulled and flashable zips be made?
What is battery life like? <--Joke (but in all seriousness, the SGS3 update did cause some battery issues)
