Just wondering really? they keep getting locked for off-topic, when general is a pretty wide topic... i would think anything pertaining to the epic that isnt a question or a development, should go there... maybe im wrong??
Exactly... moderators really need to do a MUCH better job at communication. I have sent PM's and do not get responses, so please explain moderators.
they only communicate by banning and closing threads.. theimpaler was one of the few mods here that could communicate... the rest put this place on auto pilot and ban/mod without reading or communicating and half the time without thinking...

Hopefully the mods get this under control because we are losing some of our kindest and most helpful devs. Also, what the flamers fail to realize is they are only hurting the rest of the community because a lot of the developers, themers, and testers are just choosing to communicate via G-Talk anyway. Its truly sad that developers spend hours, days, and weeks of their free time, often working all night long to provide their great projects, and they seem to get less respect than someone who spreads nothing but negativity and provides no help whatsoever.

Sounds like your complaining... Yes, there are a few users that are having a hard time keeping up with all the leaks and updates.
I for one am not complaining about all these different ROMs, I am grateful for everything these devs have made possible for the community. Just because a new ROM is out that does not mean you have to be the first person to flash it just to be up to date. I'm still using FC22 as my daily driver, for some reason I still have FC07 modem no matter what I think of doing. Do you see me starting a new thread to cry about it? No.
Stop feeding the trolls and all the negativity in this community, if you want to do so then get another phone.

may have jumped the gun posting this....believe i had a misunderstanding myself. the threads are back, likely just some cleaning up to do.
that being said, i've never seem tdj post anything that spoke poorly of his character. i've 3 kids & i'm sure i wouldn't have his patience & temperament dealing with what gets directed at him around here. and i'll agree with you on one thing...i would miss his roms if they were no longer available

Some of us come to this sub forum to see things relating to the galaxy s3. Can you understand my frustration when I see a bunch of barely literate people spewing apple hate? Don't get me wrong, I love my t999 too. It has nothing to do with pride or policing.

So someone sent me and my buddy who both have stock rooted notes a group message... He has Verizon I have sprint.... On mine the messages and replies came as individual texts on host they came in the stock message app as a group message similar to how they do on iPhone..... Honestly it's a dangerous feature. I'm glad we don't have it but you are right. I'm sure it's something one of the devs could work out. Try getting the messaging app out of a Verizon rom and see if it works.

Like in the example I posted that was a thread with me and two buddies. I Dont see how its any more dangerous than texting period... I Dont think I should have to download and app for a feature that's supposed to be stock because its on every other version of note 2 just not sprint. I prefer stock.... To each his own though. I'm happy your satisfied

Right and this would ease the hate and disgust I had for iPhone group messages just because if I was invited to one by say a random person just telling ppl about a part... I would get 20+ threads created from the people respond to the group messages. So I hated it. With this. I would receive them in one easy thread more conveniently!

Any way back in topic... I extracted the MMS off a Verizon ROM.. And as far as sending a group message it starts off with Thr functionality working. And when they reply they come in individual threads but styled like the group message way. And then original message I started says anonymous instead of "so &so + 2 more" and its basically a dead thread in my messages that cant be used... Can a dev look into this please? Maybe there's another file that was supposed to be moved with it, or something idk. Please help!!
