[Q] Ics Bot

Hi!
for .ics file i use ics bot to open it directly from my gmail. When i open it every event which is added to my calendar is one hour late....when it should be at 4pm its at 5pm...why this happens?...how to fix?

I would like to make the stock Cyanogen in call screen rotate and pull Facebook status updates please help.

Stock app doesn't support landscape, you may have to look into dialer one. I don't use facebook, so I'm no help there.

Open the Facebook apps and go to settings, then sync settings. Choose to "sync all contacts". If the Facebook photos are not showing up in the contacts app, find the contact you want and go to edit contact. Somewhere (possibly under more) there should be an option to "join", use that to link a contact with their Fb info. You can also use the app "Sync My Pix" to sync Facebook photos to contacts.
If Fb photos show in the contacts app but not in-call, then something isn't right. If you need landscape for whatever reason, Dialer One will work. I use RocketDial, but it's a paid spp.

Thank you for the help I use a take phone so I have landscape for the contact list and call log and dialer but the actual in call screen reverts to the stock CM screen witch is portrait and I have my fB photos linked using sync my pix but I want to get the status updates on that screen the way the stock sense rom does?

Status updates and other Facebook integration with contacts is part of the Sense rom/dialer. There isn't a way to get that on AOSP.

[Q] Duplicate Contacts?

Hi everyone
Installed BlackIce just now. My first AOSP ROM and its not half bad to be honest
However I am having this problem which I never had on Sense ROM's. In the dialer when I go to the contacts tab there are some duplicate contacts. It's because the Facebook profile of those people doesnt link to the Google Contact. They always used to merge into one contact in Sense ROM's.
I have the Facebook app set to Sync All like I did in Sense ROM's. No settings have been changed.
How can I fix this?

You will have to go into your individual contacts, press edit, press menu, and select join. That will allow you to manually link your contacts from Sim card, Facebook, twitter google etc. You will have to do it for each one.
It's not quite as easy as sense but it will take care of the duplicates.

For batch merging, go into People application, go into setting and choose remove duplicate. It will merge any of the contacts with exact same name.

ICS SMS Contacts photo problem

Hey guys, here's my current set up:

So after flashing the ICS SMS apk, I noticed that none of my contact photos were showing in the messaging app. It seemed like only the contacts with a Google+/Gmail account with an associated photo showed up in messaging-none of the facebook photos seemed to have showed.
Is there a work around this problem to get the facebook photos to show or is this just a known problem?

[Q] Default Exchange Email app questions

All,
I literally just got the LG G3 a couple of hours ago and in the process of configuring the phone. I have two questions in regards to the default Exchange email app:
- I have filtered incoming emails to to folders via rules. Can I view ALL emails by default instead of just the inbox? I used to have an HTC One M7 and it gave me an option of viewing ALL emails as default so I don't have to manually go to the subfolders.
- For some reason, when I get an incoming txt message, it goes to the default email app. I use Hangouts as my default SMS, it goes there, but it also shows up in the email app too? Any reason why?

I actually didn't like the stock app at all so I sideloaded the most current Google (nexus) version. I just think it's cleaner/faster and has a better layout. If you want them...

Regarding sms; switch off sms sync in settings->accounts&sync->ms exchange->email settings->ms exchange account.....tick off sms sync!
