[Q] Stock Kernel/ROM for GT-N7105 - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
first at all sorry for my bad english im from germany
Here's my Question:
I have an T-Mobile branded Note II LTE so it's full of bloatware. I have uninstalled it but i have an big energy drain (over night about 30% in WLAN Mode). No 3rd Party apps installed!!!
Now i have flashed the StockRom from T-Mobile again and the drain is better but not perfect. I have a drain about 2%/h, for this i flashed the perseus kernel. A night test will completed tomorow.
Is there anywhere an Stock Kernel for the Firmware N7105XXALIJ which i can download?? Can you give me some tricks for solve this Problem? I've used betterbatterystats but didn't found the Problem.
I hope you can undestand my Question, otherwise i will explain it better next time

No answers at all?

First of all the major problem is out of date software.
Update it.

Hi, has anyone been able to download this new game from Gameloft? I think it's due to be released today. I hope, they support the GS3.

Both.
I have stock rom and hardcore kernel and laggy as hell. Wich version do you use 1.05/1.06?
Installed stock kernel still lagy and everyone that have this game report also that its laggy.
1.06 . It's not perfect but I won't call it laggy at all.

Yeah game is laggy here too. Guess it needs more optimization for quad core chips and the mali GPU.
Im gonna put this on my Galaxy Nexus with Jelly Bean to see if it runs better on that.

Ok, just installed it via market enabler. It definitely lags, but the lags seem to be caused by data loading, not by the gpu. At least that's my impression.

You can use market enabler to make playstore believe you live in the USA.

GPS

Hi everybody!
A friend of mine has a galaxy gio, and asked me if there's something that can be done about GPS.
I searched but couldn't find a thing.. he is on stock rom, i'd prefer not to change to custom rom if possible!
Thank you for your help!

sorry but i dont understand your problem...
is there any problem with gps?
Sorry for my bad englisch
Sorry for the unclear question.
I thought it was a common problem in Gio, but maybe I was wrong.
His GPS is very slow, he has to wait very long for it to lock, even on Google Maps.
Since for Galaxy ace there are several tricks and mods for the GPS to lock faster and be more precise i was asking for something similar here!

Try an app called Fasterfix its for optimize the gps setting . But you have to root the phone :/

I'm confused.... problem with battery.....plz help me

I have a problem with Galaxy Nexus for 40 percent charge. In this condition supply drain battery. Plz look my screenshot.
I'm tried because my phone is new and has this problem. I'm waiting for your answer ....
thanks a lot.

If it's new, just send it back and ask for a replacement. You shouldn't do anything out of the box

Your screenshot shows a non-stock battery icon. Did you recently flash a custom ROM? It might take a few charge cycles to get reliable battery stats.
yes
ihave this problem too!!!
when battry receive on 40% The battery will start to discharge
This may be a problem in the new version of android 4.1.1???
or
my battry is impaired
I have tested many stock ROMs such as 4.0.4 & 4.1.1 addition custom ROMs such as codename &.... but this not solved.
In my country few man having this problem & angry with Google for this mistake...:banghead:

Not anyone?

If you are sure that it is not a custom ROM that is causing this nor the hardware (including battery), my best bet is flashing a SuperWipe, which wipes EVERYTHING! If you are willing to do that, give it a try, but I can't recommend that this will work...
I have tried your solution but no change in my problem....
I'm very sad....

Well if super wipe doesn't work, it's most likely to be a problem with either a phone itself or the battery

Are you saying that you've always had this problem, also just after you bought it?
I'm not familiar with this problem.for this I bought this phone... I love it because it is awesome... But for that problem I am very upset and worried...

im wating for your answer............
Have you tried using different battery? Since super wipe did nothing, I would say it is either battery or the phone itself.
If using a different battery did nothing either, I hope you're under warranty, cuz I think it's a hardware problem

Which rom to flash for a friend

Hey guys,
Knowing that I'm a long time gs2 and nexus4/7 flasher, a friend of me just asked me whether i could make her xperia arc s faster. She's apparently on ICS and the phone is quite slow indeed. Factory resetting didn't help that much.
so my question is: is there a decent ROM for an xperia arc s which fulfills these requirements:
- stable
- faster than stock
- no/few potential dealbreakers (stuff that doesn't work opposed to stock)
- no bloatware, possibly close to stock android
Is there such a rom?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

You can just search the Android Development Forums here.
Since your friend is asking for something similar to AOSP, she can go for a CM ROM.
Can you recommend one from personal experience?

It's not allowed but in my experience i like racing bean its based on cm 10 jelly bean rom its very fast and pretty.ICS based rom is Ultimate HD the best if you ask me.Bit all other ROMs out there are almost good as these two but i think these two are popular.

I am currently using CM10.1 right now, although recommending or comparing ROM is not allowed.

[Q] HTC One X RIL

Could anybody please tell me what the latest and best RIL for the HTC One x is? I´m currently on Slimkat 6 using RIL 5.1204.167.31 and I´m constantly loosing my dataconnection. Does anybody have a better suggestion.
Thanks
5.1204.167.31 is latest. How much signal bars do you usually have?
I have full bars but then I completely loose data first, whole mobile after that. After some Minutes it will eventually come back. It doesn't find any mobile network during this downtime if I search manually. Seems to happen more often if I use Bluetooth as well. ROM is slimkat 6, and I once had a version I dont remember anymore where I generally had a stronger signal. What about those Vodafone RILs that are floating around? Just older? Should I try another kernel? Faux?
Thx

You can try another kernel. Next kernel works fine on my phone. No problems at all
In which Rom? I'm currently on slimkat and network seems to get worse on every release
