[Q] HOX O2 UK 3.14 Ringtone Issue - HTC One X

Afternoon all. After fighting to get the 3.14 OTA update on my phone (had to do 2.17 RUU, etc.) I have noticed today that my only options for ringtone volume is vibrate. It WILL NOT store any volume over 0 as a ringtone volume. All other volumes appear to work correctly (Media, In-Call, etc.) but the ringtone will only set to 0 and vibrate. Anyone else got this issue or know of a hack/patch/fix to correct this problem.
Phone is back to being rooted using CWM Recovery and CWM-SuperSU.zip process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance.

incall volume in leaked gingerbread 2.3.4.-134 to low

hi all,
i am currently using defy with the leaked GB 2.3.4.-134 from previously 2.2.1-155. which is my favorite froyo build to upgrade due to (for me) its best battery life conpared to 179
all is working good but i have one issue with this, the in call volume is way too low even when i max out the volume settings anx use the brightest voice quality option. I have read around and this seems to be somewhat common accross models that upgrades into Gingerbread, not limited to defy only. Nobody has posted about it in the forum, so am i the only ones experiencing this? all other sounds is loud enough, just the incall volume, i recall my froyo have an e,xcellent in-call volume.
at first i thought itwas the greenbread mod for the camera ( which render my live wallpaper to FC ) but after i reflash 155, then GB 134, the probkem was there prior me installing the greenbread moxd.
then tried CM7 rc1v2 and the problem remains. no mention about that on the CM7 Forum as well.
any help for the problem guys?
an update,
look into some forums an decided to purcahse an app called volume+(can i mentioned an paid app here for non commercial reasons?) and doesnt do anything to my problem, still no change to the in call volume.
Don't know about GB, but you should have no volume problem w CM7.
Just make sure that you do a factory reset from STOCK recovery before flashing your 155 Froyo.
I did a full sbf flash on all of my froyo with a stock recovery wipe prior to it. so what I did was full wipe, flash 155 frying, root, install 2nd unit, and then install either cm7 or 134 via 2nd unit recovery. The problems exist in both, but when I am in 155, in call volume is loud. I am having serious trouble pinpointing the source of the problem and have yet find any fix.
Try Audio Manager pro. It's a paid app though, but you can see all the volumes controls your phone has to offer and adjust them accodingly.

[Q] Vibrate in AOSP ROMs

Hello, guys. I have a problem with vibration on notification on silent mode. I had flashed CM7.1 yesterday, before that I had Oxygen 2.3. With Oxygen everything was ok, after flashing CM7.1 when I get message in silent mode phone does not vibrates. I tried reflashing ROM couple times, re-dowloading it but nothing helps.
On Sense ROMs everything works fine. I checked all settings in sound menu and they look fine. Tried download Sound Manager from Market and set settings to Vibrate whenever is possible. Done that and no luck there either. Maybe someone had faced this kind of situation and has experience. Every suggestion would be appreciated.
Thank you.
BTW, Phone uses CWM 5.0.2.0
Radio 32.54.00.32U_5.14.05.17
This may come off weird but I had this issue when I flashed CM7.1.0 over the nightlies I was using. I am not really sure what fixed it but I've tried playing around the sound/vibrate settings. Under settings>sound>vibrate I originally had it set to vibrate only in silent mode. But it didn't work after flashing so I changed it to vibrate always. Then I toggled it back to Only on Silent mode and it's working again.
Weird...

Android 6.0 CFW - No sounds & can't call / be called

Hello @ all !
Since the update to Android 6.0 there are no more sounds.
Everything in connection with sound don't work. When i change volume level, there is no "beep" ton.
Also i can't call or can be called. When i try to call it freeze, only power menu to restart works. When somebody trys to call me, it's like my phone is off, but it's on.
I am registerd to the network, so i can send and reach sms / use the internet.
I tried the ROM from Leedroid , ViperRom , RevolutionHD and MaximusHD. ( FULL WIPE etc. i tried every option.... )
When use the CandySix Rom, i have sound and i can call...
Would be great if anybody could help me.
THX A LOT!
I think I may have the same issue. I purchased a used M9 of AT&T variant. I know it had sound as the first time I booted it I heard the ATT boot sound. I never used the phone though and I immediately entered fastboot and changed it to a developer edition (the phone was already s-off and unlocked) I then installed LeeDroid via TWRP. The rom works fine but I have no sound at all from internal speakers or headphones. I also tried ViperOneM9 with the same result. I have not yet tried CandySix, but I will.
The only thing that is different fro me is that I don't have a sim yet for my carrier so the phone isn't yet registered. It is on wifi though. No sounds work at all. Touch sounds, volume rocker sounds, notifications, music also doesn't play from mp3's I have on my sd card (they actually don't seem to even start as the time counter doesn't ever start even after hitting pause and play)
Any Ideas at all?
-J
Take a look over in the LeeDroid thread. You need to flash the latest firmware before installing the HTC MM based ROMs.
it's awlays common sense to read the OP. especially when there is a major upgrade like from lollipop to marshmallow where the whole firmware is changed/modified . be always sure to run latest firmware when trying to use latest roms. aosp/cm are a different story, for them it doesn't matter if lollipop firmware or MM is used

Notification sound issue s20+5G

Recently I got a replacement and my notification sounds only work if music is playing.
When trying to select the notification tone or adjust the volume, dead silent. I've cleared the cache partition twice, factory reset through settings, compete data wipe through recovery mode. Verizon had me do a general settings reset after I told them I did all that, for some reason.
I was hoping the recent update would resolve it, but no luck.
While it had been nice appearing to be aloof by not responding to messages quickly (due to not knowing I got them) now it's starting to get frustrating.
Thanks.
you have to download the Official rom and flash it through Odin , the official rom has to have 4 files , and it better to have a pit for your problem ,
if that didnt work either , go to a customer services
