fastboot flash factory image, problem solved for me.
4.2.2 where are you!? Not going to flashboot, I'd rather wait for a decent update. Google destroyed the whole butter experience going from 4.1.2 to 4.2.0/1
I just unrooted last night and went back to 4.1.1, I forgot how smooth it was.

Well actually it all depending on sprint. Not samsung, I would say march at latest since we just had jb update not to along ago. But hopefully we get soon, and its not like in the epic we just got left behind because of new phones.

I would think relatively the soon the leaks and update coming out for the epic touch are all 4.1.2 based. And I was running it for the last month made me contemplate upgrading to the s3

I am rooted and have been since I got my GS3 in October. I tried a few roms before deciding on freegs3 v3.0.0 as my daily rom. It's very stable, fast and bug free for me. Just this morning I got a notification that there was an android update. This is the first one I've got since rooting this phone. I know not to accept it, I'm just wondering all of a sudden I'm getting this. What do I do too doable notifications of android update? I'm pretty sure I have Samsung push notifications turned off.
Thanks in advance guys.

The Verizon version of our phone got AOSPA? Is there a version for our phone somewhere that I've missed? Or are they just spoiled. Haha

I haven't been on XDA for months and my phone is severely deprived. I believe the last time I flashed a rom was back in October. Well since then, it has been very very slow. I've rejected countless updates that Sprint has tried pushing to me but it has been nagging me for too long and I finally have some time to get things caught up.
So...in short...what's new? What's the latest and greatest rom that you guys would recommend that I try? Anything else new that I have missed in the past few months as far as groundbreaking tweaks and all that? I'm constantly dropping calls lately for whatever reason...
Umm....yeah
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2321867
Also, dropped calls very likely means that LTE is being expanded/upgraded in your area so be happy that they're dropping !
^ That looks like a great rom and it's a very cool port but I'm looking for something less hands-on that doesn't require me to stay up to date with constant flashing.
Just look around...?

Does anyone know where one can find the leaked JDQ47.I9300XXUFMGQ build from Sammy? This is the build for Android 4.3 on SGS3. I am just badly in need of this for the Bluetooth LE/Smart functionality which google has given native support. This is for my Casio GB-6900AA Smart Watch which has been sitting ducks since i bought it in December 2012!
what good is a I9300 rom for the 747?

It's just enough to test BT LE native connectivity and see how Android deals with LE.
That's not the point here. i9300 ROMS CANNOT WORK on the i747. You will end up with a 500$ paperweight. No recovery.

Did not know that if you put an international ROM on a non-international device, the phone get's bricked. That's news to me. Are you absolutely sure on this?

This is old news buddy! Lol
Please don't take this the wrong way but if you are barely getting informed on this I suggest you read a LOT more as it very easy to mess up a phone. Reading and Searching will be the BEST tools for you here on XDA. Best regards on future flashing.
