Imei still showing blank? Did you do a nandroid before flashing cm10.1? Did you backup your efs folder? Looks like an imei issue.

I was able to get back the Imei, I did not do any nandroid or backup my efs folder, because I didn't even know that you have to do that. I just followed a guide to rooting and installing cyangenmod.

I agree, you probably need to set your APN. I'm not too familiar with Bell but I did a quick search to find the APN settings to use for Bell.
Go into Settings/More Settings.../Mobile Networks/Access Point Names. See if anything is showing there.
If not, hit the menu key (lower left haptic key), select +New APN, and enter the following and save it (and then select it if not enabled):
Bell Mobility:
APN Name: Bell LTE
APN: pda.bell.ca
Proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
Port: 80
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set>
Server: <Not set>

MNC: 610
APN type : <Not set>
(APN info found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434995)

The Signal that Im getting is saying "Emergency Calls Only". I tried the APN, which is for internet i belive that doesn't work.
I heard something about a modem or something do I have to install that.
I was able to recive a text and I was able to get the hspa+ logo on the signal bar at the top for about 10 secnds. I sometimes says that I am conected to the bell network, but when I try to make a call, it doesn't go through.

Baseband = Modem. The screen shot you posted showing the baseband shows the correct modem as far as I know.
You could try another modem from here, sometimes older basebands/modems work better in some areas than the new ones released with the new stock roms: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831898
And if that doesn't work, maybe try a factory data reset since you're at least getting a partial signal.
EDIT: Just make sure you read the post and choose the right modem. Flashing the wrong modem can cause issues.

So I did a factory rest and I was able to get HSPA+ and I called my house and It worked. I I used the internet for more than 5 mins. I tried to send my self a text and I never recived it.

Wait, one more thing to try. Just ran into this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1732633
"For Bell I noticed you may get it working if you click the national data roaming option. Give it a reboot and you should see 4G for LTE. "
Check your APN again, and in the Mobile Networks section where you find Access Point Names listed (Settings/More Settings.../Mobile Networks/), you'll see a box to check for Data Roaming and/or National Data Roaming (on AT&T I'm only seeing Data Roaming).
Try clicking that, rebooting, and see what happens.
If that doesn't work and you need to take it to a Bell store, just make sure your phone is completely stock and that your flash counter is at zero (use Triangle Away). Otherwise they can deny you a warranty claim.
Hope this helps! :good:

You have no IMEI, if you did not back it up, you will have to re-inject it....there is a thread (actually numerous threads) showing you the procedure for doing this. if you are still looking for another answer, you are wasting time.

Read further, he said he was able to re-inject his imei.

I was able to reinject my iMEI to my Phone. I am able to connect to the bell network, for about 5 mins, then it goes back to emergency Calls Only. I sometimes can use HSPA+, but most of the time it is connected to the Emergency Calls Only.

I put black infront of all the imei #'s, serial #'s and those stuff that don't need to be shown. I reinjected the imei, I am still getting emergency calls only.

Wise decision! Don't need to be handing out your imei for someone to clone.

Bell LG Optimus LTE Disable LTE?

For those with a Bell Canada LG Optimus LTE, are you guys able to turn off/disable LTE on your phone through a setting or *#*#4636#*#*?
I'm trying to figure out a way to turn off LTE on the AT&T Nitro HD, which has the Network Mode setting blocked/removed.
Create a new APN and use it when you want to "switch off" lte:
Settings -> Wireless and Networks -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names -> Menu (Add new APN)
Name: HSPA+ (can name it whatever you want)
APN: phone
Proxy: leave blank
Port: leave blank
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
Server: leave blank
Mmsc: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
Mms proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
Mms port: 80
Mcc: 310
Mnc: 410
Authentication type: none
APN type: default,mms,supl,hipri (no spaces)
Save.
It should save battery.
Please let me know if it works.
The feature that you speak of is not on our phones as it is locked out. I can't change those settings.

It shouldn't be locked out. I thought so at first, but if you hit the menu button while viewing the "ATT PTA" APN it should let you add one. I've done exactly what was suggested and it works... all except picture messaging.

No, I wasn't asking about the APN. I'm aware of that trick.
I wanted to see if we can actually set our phones to WCDMA only or something like that. In most if not all previous Android phones I've owned, you can force the phone to 2G only, 3G preferred, 3G only, and so on using the *#*#4636#*#* menu. But in our case, AT&T/LG deliberately left out this option in the phone.

Oh I see. Man I would LOVE to have that feature.
Um I had a bell one and I remember just going into the settings there was a choice of WCDMA or WCDMA+LTE and I just picked WCDMA and I think it turned LTE off.
I get an FC in com.android.phone when I try to do that, so nope, not working.

Yes, with Bell Canada, Settings -> Wireless and Networks -> Mobile Networks -> Network Mode -> WCDMA only
If I choose "GSM/WCDMA Auto" it does not stick but reverts to "GSM/WCDMA/LTE Auto". But "WCDMA only" stays and everything works.
Now I will wait to see if the battery lasts longer. But as it was it lasts over 2 days of standby/light use (we don't have LTE serviceout here). As soon as I start using the display though the battery goes down quite fast - like in about 3 hours or less of continuous use.

Phone won't connect to mobile data after flashing

After flashing my phone it can't connect to the mobile data network. I re-flashed the phone back to stock and it still doesn't work. On wi-fi the phone works fine. The 4g symbol shows up with the upload download arrows flashing but I don't get any signal.
Can someone please help me? I'm really frustrated...
Flash a different modem?
Did you check maybe you lost the imei on the process of flashing
If 4g is displsyed its probably not imei, but check it anyway.
Also turn off wifi calling and see if thst hss any affect.

I've tried multiple roms with different radios/modems but no luck.
The IMEI is still there. I don't know what the problem is... For example though, every time I try to go to a website, it gets automatically redirected to http://androidapi.t-mobile.com/apppack/mvno.html I doubt that means anything but just putting everything that I know.
I have the same issue and cant figure it out. Ill keep you posted if I figure something out.

I can't even go to any websites on my phone without wifi. When I tried to open that app it wouldn't let me because it said that I can't use wi-fi with it.
And I did "check" my APN, I don't really know if there's anything wrong with it. I'm actually doing this for a friend and I have a Sprint SG3 that I rooted with absolutely no problems. This t-mobile phone though is really trying my patience.
try it again. turn wifi off and run the app. It should take you to your account.
Just go return it then get another phone.
The phone will literally not connect to ANYTHING data related unless on a wifi network. Unfortunately this t-mobile app will not work over wifi so I'm still stuck on what I can do.

Can't get on Bell network

Just got my phone back form being fixed (cracked screen, yayyy). Prior to fix it was rooted and everything was working great.
I get it back and had the following error: Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped.
This came up twice each time the phone was rebooted/ turned on.
So, from various searches on this forum, on androidforums, and random google results this was my process:
The phone was rooted, so I un-rooted it with SuperSU and then did a factory wipe and went through the day one set-up process again.
deleted contacts and remove all accounts
clear phone cache
clear contacts cache
restored stock firmware (phone had to be rooted, so is now rooted again)
software has just been update OTA
reinstalled stock firmware using Odin3 (used Triangle away to clear count, device status was back to normal)
That fixed my error problem, but I still had no connection to my Bell LTE network. Wifi was fine, sms good, calling good, MMS not good.
I found the APN settings on this forum and created a new one using these:
APN Name: Bell LTE
APN: pda.bell.ca
Proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
Port: 80
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set>
Server: <Not set>
MMSC: http://mms.bell.ca/mms/wapenc
MMSC proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 610
APN type : <Not set>
Still didn't work, and when I restart the phone the new setting deletes itself.
So I installed two different modems as found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831898
I tried I747MLALH1 first and current have I747MVLLE8 installed.
Phone is now rooted again (from installing new modems). Running 4.0.4. Device status is "Modified". Mobile Network State "Disconnected".
WTF is going on here? New SIM card maybe?
Any help would be great, but you'll have to dumb it down a little :cyclops:

My default APN settings are the same as those. Now, when you hit the *back* button once from that screen it takes you back to the list of APNs (though you probably just have one called "Browser"). Is the circle on the right highlighted with a green dot or is it unchecked/ empty?
Thanks for the help
It is checked. Filled with green dot. And below Browser it says pda.bell.ca

Good for you. I found it a bit confusing at first. I had to re-read it a few times before I attempted it. I had lost my IMEI as well as DATA ability on my Roger's S3 and this page helped me! As to how I lost it....??? Some byproduct of flashing.

Problem solved.
I skimmed through the info in the link @themadproducer provided but it didn't sound like that was a solution for me
Went into the Bell store, immediate the guy saw I didn't have an LTE SIM card so he said he doubts that is the problem but atleast when it is fixed I will have 4G internet. This was the original SIM I got back in June when I bought the phone, so I guess I was running 3G and didn't noticed since it was still blazingly faster than the 3G on my Blackberry.
We ended up calling a Bell diagnosis tech and he went backdoor on my phone, when I got it reactivated after being fixed the lady at the Bell store forgot to change/ add some things.
Good as gold now! My wonderful 6GB LTE plan is finally working and I'm not wasting money on nothing!
Thanks everyone for the help and input, much appreciated.

Ive been having the same problem the last two weeks and no one seems to be able to help me out. The best advice I can give is to change your APN to the lte one and its supposed to work from there, people usually have the most success doing that. But it didnt help me so any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
Last time I had that issue, I created a new ATT APN and changed to it. After a reboot, the phone changed from CDMA to the LTE preferred mode.
I can't tell you if that stuck though, because I flashed another ROM the next day and never saw the issue again.
Here are some APN's you can use. I used the last one:
Name: ATT PTA
APN: pta
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410

APN type: default,mms,supl,hipri
APN: wap.cingular
User Name: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Auth Type: none
APN Type: internet + mms
Bearer: unspecified (unless you're in an LTE area, then select LTE)
Name: ATT Phone
APN: phone

This is my exact problem, I have hyperdrive which I love, but I have no LTE. I am having the same problem as OP and I have not been able to find a solution. Any help would be great!
Believe it or not, I somehow found a way to fix it for me. Now Ive literally tried everything I could find on the topic and nothing seemed to work. Kind of on a whim I decided to go to Network Operators in the settings and selected ATT, after that for some reason I was able to pick LTE/GSM/WCDMA. I disabled data, dialed *#*#4363#*#* and changed it to LTE/GSM/WCDMA and then made sure I had the right APN selected and re-enabled data, and next thing I knew 4G popped up! I hope this helps someone. I was infuriated for a few weeks without 4G and the fix was much simpler than what everyone kept telling me to do.

I tried this, but unfortunately for me it did not work :crying: Although its a little different for me since I am on Telus, but I followed the same steps and picked Telus in Network Operators. But no prevail. Hopefully I can figure something out
Same here, with rogers and not able to get LTE/WCDMA/GSM mode on the latest hyperdrive rom .13 RLS13

I'm having this issue in that I am only able to select the following two options, and have them stick;
GSM/WCDMA auto
GSM/WCDMA preferred (this option is currently selected).
If I try to select "LTE/GSM/WCDMA", it immediately goes back to GSM/WCDMA preferred.
I'm currently using StraightTalk on the AT&T network. I know the sim I have in the phone probably won't allow access to the LTE network (I want to get new sim cards to get LTE through StraightTalk), but I should be able to at least select that network option, and the LTE radio would scan, and find nothing.
I'm on the 9/13 nightly, stock kernel.

You will need a new sim and it will allow you to select it. They will overnight it to you for free for 7 bucks on the website.

Go back to mobile data and select the correct APN, then reboot from there. It should stick.
BAD SIMS CARD!!! Get a new one...

Ive been having the same problem the last two weeks and no one seems to be able to help me out. The best advice I can give is to change your APN to the lte one and its supposed to work from there, people usually have the most success doing that. But it didnt help me so any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

1. Turn off your phone, then remove the SIM card
2. Remove and replace the battery to make sure that your device well rebooted.
3. Dont instert the SIM Card then turn on your device
4. Go to dial, *#*#4636#*#*
5. Go to device information and change the preferred network type, make sure it can be changed and not back to the old setting.
6. Turn off your device and insert the SIM card, then turn it on.
7. Go back to *#*#4636#*#* and check the preferred network, and now you can chage the network as what the f*ck you want, its your phone, dont let the issues brings you down fellas.

^^ That didn't work for me.
I previously had an Axon 7 that got stolen. I ordered another one on Swappa and can't for the life of me get it to connect to LTE on AT&T in Southern California (Los Angeles area) when my first one had no issues at all. I wonder if the sim card they gave me isn't an LTE card. It's really frustrating.

Worked like a charm. Thanks alot!!
Edit: Tested on Stock Oreo LG V 30
Theres an app called 4G Only Network Mode on the playstore that allows you to access more in depth settings of your device, then you can manually lock the phone into LTE mode or whatever mode you prefer.

Funny thing is I already made a APN list for everyone a while ago. And this particular one your referring to. If I'm not mistaken WISH777, posted this same one, or something very similar long time AGO!!

FYI : speed depends on your network, where you are at the time, area, city. Are you close to a tower. Those all come into play when checking speed!!

Sure did LAST YEAR....thats when it wasn't popular as it's everywhere now...lol worked real nice back then too...I hit almost 100 likes it worked for a lot of people back then Probably had something to do with the balance of them and the modems at the time..hipri seems to have a impact as it's telling the network hipri = high priority
I never heard of that one and type up above called mas?...wth is that?
Most of the apn types I found last year I know a tech thru AT&T and he taught me most of those and a explanation of what each one does..as he used the ones I posted. ..so I just shared the knowledge to the family here..
Typo

Just use "phone" instead of "pta"
I'm on dicksteele's ROM and I can't modify or delete the default APN. Creating a new APN and enabling it did not do anything since it resorted to the default APN. I've tried deleting the APN config file out of system/etc and the APN apps don't work with 4.3. Is there any way to get rid of the default APN so I can try the one wish came up with or is this APN method so old that the benefits are no longer existent?
Thanks,
Jared

I'm using it here in L.A. and am getting 40Mbs for 4G/LTE.

But can someone confirm any detail about mas? What is it and what does it do? Is it hurting anything by being there?

Isn't that -83 & -107? Could be wrong, but I believe -83 > -107. Please correct me if that's wrong.
Sqlite editor pro
If your rooted you can use sqlite editor to go into system files an delete your default apn's or once you find the apn change the vaule under default from 1 meaning its the active default apn to 0.....when you get app only paid pro version can change apns.....look around enough on this site you can find it free or google the apk cracked ones that work everywhere........to locate your apn you have to have a root explorer installed.....run sqlite....click file at top after you grant it super user permission.........follow.....data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephon.db/carriers......apns are all listed there.
