I also removed my battery and try to restart but it didnt help.
please help me.
any help will be great appreciate..
Simple fix, install a much recent recovery system. The same issue has been answered several times if you took the time to use the search bar to look for answers in the threads.
Well anyways, download TWRP 2.3.3.0 and install it through Odin. After you have installed TWRP, use the new recovery to install the ROM again and your phone should boot perfectly. Cheers!
Thanks for ur reply..
I just used "wipe data/fatory reset" option from recovery mode then i reboot my phone and it start again with new cyanogenmod 10 ROM and its working great.
Thanks Again..

This happens to me almost every time I flash a new ROM. A way around it without installing a new recovery, is to install the ROM and not gapps. Wait the usual 10 min after first reboot, and then install gapps.
My phone is stuck on the Cynagenmod logo
My eureka phone is stuck on the Cynagenmod logo. I have tried some techniques available at net but no succeeded. Pls help me.

Ok I understand your issue and just like to say that every thread I have read since yesterday tells you how to fix your problem. Also, in the future just try and do better research before jumping into things... Now to help you - boot back into recovery and do a system restore/full wipe. I understand its not a CWM based recovery but if you read the OP you would of noticed that. Your second choice is to use odin a CWM recovery and you can restore your old nandroid. The link to a CWM odin recovery is also in the OP of CM9
do you know why it wouldnt boot up for me?

no but you are not alone... its an issue for quite a few people and it depends on where you were coming from. Did you go into it from cm7? Touchwiz rom? Hey best bet just follow instructions to a tee and you should not have any issues. But if you are new to this read for a day or two before leaping.
I am a flashaholic and I still have not flashed anything after cm9 alpha 2. I know how it is give it a day or two and someone will come up with a proper working recovery and zip. No need to be an early guinea pig with everything....
yeah i flash alot all the time and i followed this one exactly and i did everything right it just got stuck for me. i just flashed a stock .tar through odin and i re rooted but i want to get cm9 working so bad
I have Galaxy S3 on which I have CyanogenMod. I was on vacation in Poland last summer and I got there my Rogers Galaxy S3 phone unlocked and polish language CyanogenMod ver 10.0 was installed . It worked fine since. Recently, I installed few game for my grandson. Right after I found that it took longer time to boot a phone. Then I started to get a message after rebooting, "System process didn't start" with option to click "Wait" or "OK". When I clicked OK phone was slowly booting and finally was fully operational. Every new reboot took longer and longer with the same message, "system process didn't start" click "wait" or "ok".
Finally it stopped to boot. When I power on a phone it starts booting and get to same message as before. I click "wait" and nothing happen, or I click "ok" and still nothing happen. Then phone reboots itself and keep doing it.... Doesn't boot anymore to application.
What I can try to do to fix it? I am pretty new to this "rooting" "Odin'...etc so if you have an advice please communicate it as simply ans possible.
Any help appreciated
Thank you
Boot into recovery and flash a newversion or same version of CM 10 or CM10.1 (Either one is good or you could pick a whole new ROM up to you). Make sure you follow the instruction of the ROMs thread for how to install. To get to recovery you hold the volume up + home button + power untill it boots to recovery and from there follow ROM instructions.

Before you install any ROM be sure to do a factory/reset, wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache partition and format system, and don't worry about doing everything twice, especially if you are coming from a TW ROM and going to a CM type ROM. If you don't start off with a clean slate you may have some "ghosts" left over.

er
How I can do factory reset if I can't boot to anything except a download mode? Do I need to install new ROM first and then do factory reset or there is other way to get to factory reset option without loading new ROM?

If you can't into recovery and download mode is your only option, use odin to flash stock ROM on your phone.

Possible Fix
1. Go here - > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1968625 -> install the correct stock firmware for your carrier
2. Go here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1722686 -> download ODIN.. and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!
3. Use ODIN to put the STOCK ROM back onto your phone. It takes a little while to do it.. and first boot can take a while as well.
4. Go here -> http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/#odin -> download the correct version of CF autoroot for your phone
5. Use ODIN to install CF auto root the same way you installed the STOCK ROM
6. Go to the google play store and download ROM manager
7 - In ROM manager Installed CWM recovery
8-> enjoy a rooted phone and flash custom roms if you like!
Guys, help needed here.... Installing Alliance ROM stuck on "Installing extra apps". What can be done here.. I'm waiting since more than half an hour.. My phone is getting warmer but the process is stuck somewhere. My device is GT-N7100 and I came from a rooted stock ROM by Dr. Ketan. Recovery is TWRP. Waiting for response! Help and get thanks+++
What I did is, downloaded the Alliance ROM which was in in zip format, selected the file in ROM customizer, and chose to install it. I ticked on "install Samsung apps" as I needed Samsung apps on my phone. Next, the phone rebooted to recovery and the process (in above screenshot) started and its stuck on "installing extra apps". Its killing me!"

Solved. Flashed new recovery via odin and odin magically restarted the device after that.

Cool
I've experienced that too when I try to flash Alliance for the first time. I restarted my phone in recovery again and flash with no problem.
Yeah, you just make sure you check md5 and also its very important you make sure you are running the latest TWRP e.g. 2.5.0.1 recovery and you will be trouble-free!

I'm fairly new to all of this. Currently I'm running Stockorama v2 on 4.1.2
I realized I was pretty far behind and decided to flash a new ROM.
I decided to go with GUMMY but keep getting the following error:
set_medadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: Error in /sdcard/Gummy - 2.1-01-15-14-NIGHTLY-d2tmo.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted.
Can somebody help me, or link me to some guides/tutorials on how to flash a rom when I've already got one? (if that makes sense)
Thanks in advance!

How do I update my recovery?
So I updated my Recovery & used ROM Manager to install the new ROM I downloaded.
Unfortunately my phone doesn't load completely and always gets stuck at the boot screen (boot screen still shows animations).
Anything I can do to make my phone boot all the way?

Go into Recovery Mode and factory reset (you will lose everything that's in your Internal Storage but everything in your SD Card will be safe). Afterwards, reboot and let it sit there for awhile until you're prompted with a Welcome Screen. If for some reason you cannot get passed your boot screen, you must also flash a modem that is compatible with 4.3+ (I'm using the T999UVUEMJ4 modem).
After you have done all that, let it sit there for a good 10 minutes and reboot. After setting everything up, go into your Play Store (if you don't have the Google Play Store, go back into recovery and flash a 4.4 GAPPS) and download GooManager. Run the app and press the menu button and select ' install openscriptrecovery.' Follow the procedures and it'll automatically install the latest recovery (it should be TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) 2.6.3.1). Reboot back into recovery then do a clean wipe and flash your ROM follow by GAPPS. Reboot and let it sit there until you see the Welcome Screen. Once you do, let it sit there for 10 minutes and reboot.
