I meant the version of Clock Work Mod which you use to flash the ROMS. You need to do some more reading if you still can't figure what is CWM..

Yup, install from zip. The software is called CWMR. Can you try flashing the covenant kernel from the dev forums http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1569628&d=1355715788

Just flash the jb rom and kernel. Reboot and see if you get the network. If not then revert to your ICS, until you can try again and provide logcat..

I would suggest you to stick to ICS for now, as no baseband can be quite major issue. Search the forums to find out how to provide logcat...
I would also suggest a backup of the EFS before you play anymore with flashing ROM's etc. There is a sticky in the dev threads for the same.

Saw this on the cm10 thread, you could try it. If you would you let us, or at least me, how it is?
I wouldn't flash it because it's for the international but you should be able to copy the files over
EDIT: DO NOT FLASH! ! ! ! IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE IT MANUALLY COPY THE FILES OVER OR YOU WILL BRICK

Thanks, I will try your CM10 ROM, although I have rooted and installed several ROMS in a samsung spica, and a sony Xperia ArcS, I have not very clear how to install your ROM.
Wipe Data, Cache, and system "OK"
Flash the ROM "It's the TEST13 file? is this done in the recovery, right?"
Flash GApps "is this done in the recovery, right?"
Download the boot.img "OK xD"
Flash boot.img in fastboot "I guess this one is not done in the recovery, could you please be a little bit more specific? what is included in the boot.img? it's mandatory?"
If I install this kernel it adds any apps/option in the ROM so I can change the OC to 1.2 or keep the default 1?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1765687
Or in order to change I need to install a 3rd party app in google play?
Thanks in advance

boot.img is the kernel, mandatory.
In case you need commands
Settings>Performance has options for freq. control. But I think some app like "no frills" is recommended.

Hi @MattH86,
Maybe it's kernel related..?
The only time I've seen that is when I tried a particular kernel that had voltage issues.
So look through the thread to find what kernel other people using the rom prefer.
That's by 2-cents worth.
Good luck,
Hotfingers

I am having the problems as well! I am on Virgin Mobile MD7, 4.1.2, Galaxy S3. Rooted with CWM. When I flash the ROM and it reboots i get stuck at the Galaxy S3 MIUI v5 Boot logo. Of course I can just flash my backup I made, but I really want to use this ROM it is sooooooo nice!
Originally when I flashed it though I got an assert get prop id and status 7 error code. I removed the assert commands from the update-script in the META-INF/android/com/ then it installed but thats when it got stuck at boot logo.
someone please help me!
