[Q][CDMA] Phone keeps Rebooting -> Installed Custom ROM and Flashed Kernel (CM10) - HTC One V

So I Rooted, S-OFF, Flashed CWM 6, Flashed the boot.img, and the ROM but the problem is that it keeps rebooting after a few minutes. Any help would be appreciated.

yea im having the same problem with a different rom but tried with the stock kernel. much harder than flashing on a nexus 7.

Did you flash the boot.img via fastboot? Did you try different kernels? That's usually the problem

Xperia S wont load! HELP!

i decided to unlock my bootloader on my already rooted phone to try out some new JB roms. I installed Sspeed kernel and RecoverX which was fine then I followed the instruction to install the latest PACman rom by wiping all the caches and the system in recovery before flashing the rom. Problem is I accidentally left out the flashing and went straight to reboot phone. NOW THE PHONE WILL NOT GO PAST BOOTLOADER ANIMATION.
I tried using flashtool to flash stock rom. The phone is connected in fastboot mode but will not flash! PLEASE HELP!
Many thanks in advance!:fingers-crossed:

To flash stock rom you need to be in a flashmode, not fastboot.
Ive done that few times just install any kernel via fastboot, then you will be able to go to recovery its just that recovery is kept in system partition, so you wiped all the system and recovery flash any kernel that has recovery build in, and you will be good to go

Can't boot into custom recovery.

Hi all,
I have flashed my GN2 with CVM and when I reboot into recovery, the screen goes all jumbled up and then then it reboots and does the same thing and then shuts down. With stock recovery it was fine.
Tried it with TWRP and get the same thing. I've used Toolkit v3 as well to see if that worked but I can't get a custom recovery to work... re flashing stock recovery from Toolkit is fine and it works no problem. Anyone else had this issue? All I want to do is root and try CM 10.1 nightly but can't even get to recovery to flash the ROM. Is there another way to install a ROM? Odin? But then need a .tar of the ROM which I can't find, any help appreciated.
Thanks.
Are you on dll7?
If yes, new bootloader could be a issue

chenglu recovery link http://d-h.st/beT
do the recovery with mobile odin
He is for sure in DLL7. I had the same. Twrp 2.3.2.3 works great in dll7 but not the latest one.
Cwm does not work.

DLL7 is a reference to kernel version? What about the ROMs then do they have to be DLL7 compatible? Also where can I get the CM kernel and is that needed for CM 10.1?

It's an issue with your radio, i had the same issue when i first rooted my phone then installed a new ROM
use this link to help, it worked well for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018518
This problem is mainly caused due to:
Using command 'fastboot boot boot.img' instead of 'fastboot flash boot boot.img'
Not doing complete wipes.
Or lastly the upgraded radio.
If the first 2 are the cause, that can be easily solved.
For the third one, do what is described in the link above.

[Q] One X Touchscreen not working?

Hello guys,
I have an HTC One X (intl) , with an unlocked bootloader, CWM installed, MIUI rom installed.
I've unlocked the bootloader with the htcdev guide. flashed cwm and installed miui.
My problem is that the touchscreen will not work. i flashed the rom with cwm (yes, with full wipe)
then i flashed the boot.img with fastboot. for some reason it got messed up between the miui flash and the boot.img part
i've searched the forum for hours and hours and i couldn't find anything like my problem
so that's why i've made a new thread.
i've also performed a fastboot erase cache. no luck
tried viperX rom, no luck
tried stock rom + recovery + boot and no luck also
Can somebody help me with this?
Thx
Problem is solved now, for anybody that's facing the same problem try to flash a custom kernel wich can be found in the forum. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2120714
I hope that this helps people with the same problem and saves someone alot of hours of searching!

[Q] Bootloop help

I've been hitting boot loops left and right. After beups s-off method, I succesfully flashed custom recovery and a ROM, but I accidentally flashed an international version of a kernel. During the aroma installer it froze and I restarted the phone, but now it will not boot normally or into recovery. I've tried to flash the stock kernel but I still can not get into recovery. Any advice? I've tried different recoveries and erased fastboot cache before each flash
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I did a factory reset through the fastboot, reflashed the recovery img and wiped the recovery cache and it allowed me to run cwm. Then, since I was having issues mounting, I used CWM's sideload program in their recovery that allowed me to flash roms without having to put them on the SD card. Where are you stuck at?

In bootloader I clicked Factory Reset. It tried to load into recovery then looped again. I went back to Bootloader Flashed recovery Img and its still doing the same thing. How did you wipe cache without loading the recovery?
