I'll save you some trouble. Never flash anything designed for the international galaxy s3. The easiest way to root T-Mobile galaxy s3 would be the root66 method

What do you mean?
all the download files include 'root66' in the file name...!

You didn't look very hard considering the title is "no trip root"

I did look and didn't find anything. That's why I posted the question.
Thanks for the link though.

Not to nitpick, but to avoid future problems you might want to saunter on over to the Sprint forum if you do indeed have a Sprint device.

Flash SG3 with / how?

Hi there, good day to you, coming from NS3 I used to flash rom's thru CWM and I never used Odin. Had to use it for the first time here in order to root my new SG3.
My question is, how do I flash custom rom's? Is it different for each rom's and need to refer to OP or I can flash them the way I prefer (which is going to be thru CWM / TWRP) or always need to go thru Odin.
Thanks alot

Flash through CWM.
Yea you flash thru your recovery of choice.

Thanks to both of you I appreciate that. One last question, on my NS3 the CM roms are called Crespo, and MyTouch 4G are called Glacier, what is it called for my SGH - T999V Videotron in Canada? Seen a few roms/name and just want to make sure.

Unlock rooted s3

Hi, I rooted my s3 with odin but I think that I only rooted it rather than unlocking the bootloader as well, how can I now unlock the bootloader so that I can try some custom Roms? Thanks
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Did you install CWM or other recovery?
You could also try Mobile Odin from the market to install a custom ROM.
Sent from my SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
From the video that I watched it said that the clockworkmod was installed but I have no idea how to check this or to put it to use.
Thanks again

With phone off - hold down volume down+home+power buttons.
I would suggest you do lots of reading before flashing your first ROM.
This is a good thread... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426.

Hold that it has been installed, I found it in my app drawer. But what do I need to do with it?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Just to clarify, I used odin and CFROOT SGS3 V 6.4, so does this mean that I'm unlocked and ready to rock?

Yes you should be good. You could always post in the CF Root thread for assistance on that particular method.
You need to read before you brick your phone.
