Hello , I just got Sony Xperia S. It's locked by Hutchison 3G Austria and i couldn't find any free way to unlock it. I tried to unlock bootloader but in confg. it says Bootloader unlock allowed : No. Is there any free way to get code or something to unlock SIM to all GSM networks. At the moment I am in Bosnia and Herzegovina..

I am new to this XDA-DEVELOPERS forum hence don't know whether posting comment over here is correct or not. [Advice in case]
I am having HTC Desire HD on 2.3.3 which is SIM LOCKED on Softbank. I wish to know if there is any method to UNLOCK the phone without downgrading to Froyo [Android 2.2]
If anyone knows a good link on this site, please let me know.
There might be relative posts on this site i.e. SIM UNLOCK Desire HD on 2.3.3 but being new to this site, I don't want to create a new thread unnecessary.

I recently purchase a Xperia Arc from Bouygues Telecom in France.
I tried to unlock the bootloader using Sony Ericsson method at unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com
But when i type *#*#7378423#*#* to show configuration it says "Bootloader unlock allowed : No "
So it looks like i'm a little stuck.
Do i need seTools ?

Anyway , I have no problem paying for this phone to be unlocked. Actually Bouygues Telecom ROM has some limitations comparing to the stock one i think ( some apps are not available on the market like Google Music for example).
I just want to know what is the best and most secure method

Question should be posted in the Q&A section of the forum and not in general....what kind of help do you need? Every branded phone is locked to a specific carrier, unless you get the unlock code from your carrier or you sim unlock it.

Yes, you can use the Hack Kit to root, S-OFF and unlock your device, but also ask your carrier for it....it is up to you.
You could also just buy an unlock code for your phone of ebay for a few dollars or search Google for your unlock code
