Root 1.29.862.11 possible?

Hi
I am new too the android OS, had a sensation XL and it was crap to many bugs, now have the One X and it is awsome.
my question - is it possible to one click root the HTC on X with the one click root on 1.29.862.11? iv been reading around but cant fine any thing
only root for 1.29.401.
Help will be appreciated.

Hi there is a tool that can help you but it still uses htcdev site so you will lose your warranty ill try and find it

HTV SDK APLI Level: 4.12

I don't think it matters what bases your on your unlocking on htcdev witch is from them not a exploit in bases like other phones

thanks for the help, i have rooted my phone and verified it with the app root check basic and it says congradilations this device has root access.
No to fine a good rom to flash the stock one.
any ideas?

If you want a sense based custom ROM then I recommend Viper X or ARHD. Viper X has lots of easy customization options and supports new bug fixes as OTA updates.

Got it also :
Android version : 4.1.1
HTC Sense : 4+
Firmware : 3.18.401.1
HTC API : 4.63
HTC Extention : HTCExtension_Sense45_1
My guess is that this is an update to set things correctly before the Sense 5 update (and 4.1.2)

still 4.1.1 same version
This update contain importent enhacements and bug fixed.
Including
system stability enhacement
mail security imporvment
other bug fixes

After update mine stays at "HTC Quietly brilliant" boot image
It was because I was with usb cable pluged in, thanks
I've booted, and have not updated devices, still have the message with update available

What area and what CID?

Based on experience with HOX, not possible for a perfect JB Sense ROM without hboot update. It's either no Data or no Sound.

I assume the problem is the same when porting from HOSV...

And when you port from Samsung Galaxy W GT-i8150?
this device use the same processor.

Dude, samsung with sense.....???? What non sense...it has touchwiz... And im bot sure if w has dat also...

of course without Sense. There is however already well-functioning on the basis of cm10.1

you can port from HTC ONE SU, but hboot need update,that is a question.

If you want more help you should change your thread title by something more relevant like: ''Need help to find official rom for CID Y_13'' instead of just ''Q''.
As I understand from your others posts on different threads for different devices forum XD , you are looking for STOCK rom? Basic mean nothing for me sry....
if you are looking for STOCK rom:
download the nandroid backup for you CID on this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140
and than restore that backup on your phone, ''how to'' on the same page.
