ROM question - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

OK, quick question for anyone who may know. I've seen there's separate threads for the different versions of the note2.
My question is, are the ROMs built using different proprietary files and are ROMs interchangeable? Or are they different?
I've looked around an I can't seem to find model numbers or anything that explains otherwise.

yes the roms are built specifically for their device, that's why they have separate threads. if you put different model roms in your device they will have trouble figuring out your hardware and probably won't work appropriately

What TW Rom's are for AT&T!

I am so confused into all the Jelly Bean ROM's that are out there built from leaks of the International version, or the Tmo version, but what ones WILL work on AT&T with little effort, and witch ones will work with some fiddeling.
I am so confused, and I have read and searched each of them, some the answer was clear, some not so sure.
Android Development is all pretty much TW....nothing to be confused about...just read the OPs.

I understand that they are TW's , but Jelly Bean? and most are some (and most) for the Canadian, and some for AT&T, and the OP's have not been clear other then a few , and some of the searches seem not to be definitive. hence why I ask.
The models are the same. Only changes would be maybe adding the lte apn...what rom you interested in?

ALL of them really. if its just the APN, I'm set. I was not sure if there was actualy more to it. (and modem's I assume, witch I have no problem getting and installing)

But really, I want one with the majority of the TW feeatures, short of the stupid bloaty stuff. one with CRT would also be nice.. I'm a sucker for that!

Anyone know if we can flash from other varients?

I know the s3 could. Just wondering if anyone has tried. The sprint roms look pretty good.

There are a few other threads addressing this, all you have to do is use the search function, but the general consensus it; if you like having a functioning device don't do it.

Paranoid Android for 7105?

Hi all, anybody know what happened to the PA thread for the LTE International version of the Note 2? It seems to have been closed for no reason at all and I can't find another suitable site which has the latest version on.
Also as a side note, is there any truth in the claim that you can use the AT&T forum roms on this model with no ill effects? I would simply just flash a rom but am understandably a little cautious. Thanks in advance.

Never mind, found out the owner of the thread was banned without reason hence thread closed. Also roms for most American versions do work well.

Really? We can flash the American variants custom roms onto the N7105? Hmm.. What are the stable roms out there for N7105?

Well funnily enough I'm using paranoid android "for the AT&T note 2" at the moment and haven't had a single issue since I flashed it this morning.

The AT&T thread was the same OP as on here, hence has also been closed - with no designated developer assigned to pick it up

New kernel for S3 t999 cm 10.1.3

I'm wondering what over clock kernels are available to me. I have looked around and found different options but none ever say what specific models there for. I just wanna be sure before flashing a random kernel. Thanks for any feed back

If they don't come from this forum, don't flash them. As far as your options, have a look in original dev.

Roms

So I just got this phone and I really want to root it and start flashing some roms lol. I was looking through the development section and it didnt look like there were very many that were being kept up on. Can any one recommend one. I like cm11 based roms or roms with theme chooser.

This has been stated time and time again. It's all a matter of preference. Read the stickies, educate yourself on the matter, then pick what suits you best. One size does not fit all, and we don't know what size you are.
