I set my calendar event length time on desktop to 30 minutes. Phone still has default time at 1 hour. I don't see anything in phone settings to adjust. Any thoughts appreciated.

Alright, go ahead and beat me if I missed it, but after 5 days of looking through hundreds of pages here on XDA about the Tilt 2, I have not been able to find what I am looking for.
Here is what I have.
HTC AT&T Tilt 2 Stock Rom and all. Only a few games installed, and various applications installed.
I have tried going in to the registry & changing the values for the length of time, but it still locks the phone after 5 minutes of inactivity. While I DO like the auto lock feature of Windows Mobile 6.5, the short amount of time it gives me kinda blows. Maximum of 5 minutes before I have to slide & re input my code. I also want it so that when the device is plugged into my computer that it does not auto lock.
Other then this one thing, I am really happy with the device. Too bad that my Parrot Rythm-N-Blue doesn't want to pair with it on blue tooth, but I've been wanting to get the wife to let me get a new car stereo any ways. Compared to my wife's iPhone, I like my Tilt 2 MORE and MORE each day.
Go to the settings screen and tap the lock button. You should find the time adjustment there. I've forgotten where you go stop it from locking while charging or connected to the computer.
I've done that, the check mark to turn it off is greyed out so I can't uncheck it.
In the time settings it give me options of 0 minutes, 1 minute, or 5 minutes, that's it. I've gone into the registry and found the entry that shows the time, I've changed that to a value above 5 minutes, and it still only goes for 5 minutes then locks back up as normal. I'm guessing that there is yet another or several other values that I need to change.
No, I don't want to install S2U2. I have that on my AT&T Tilt 1. With all the settings on it to as minimal as possible, the S2U2 would burn through my battery in a matter of 3 hours.
UPDATE
Alrighty it's time for an update.
Having been sick of the 5 minute screen time out from the exchange securities system, I set out to try to find a way to get around or fix it so that I could have longer times then the 5 minute maximum that they have set.
Here is what I had to do to get my times adjusted.
First off UNLOCK the registry of the TP, Rhodium, Tilt 2 (which ever flavor is yours), and reboot. YEAH it sucks but ya gotta.
Second off you need to edit the following keys to your registry.
* Inactivity time
o HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\AE\{50C13377-C66D-400C-889E-C316FC4AB374}\AEFrequencyType: 0 = No inactivity time; 1 = Activity time enable
o HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\AE\{50C13377-C66D-400C 889E-C316FC4AB374}\AEFrequencyValue: number of minutes before timeout
o HKLM\Comm\Security\LASSD\CodeWordFrequency: Set Dword to 30
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\AE\{50C13377-C66D-400C-889E-C316FC4AB374} AEFREQUENCY VALUE Dword = 30
* Password strength
o Minimum number of characters: HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\LAP\lap_pw\MinimumPasswordLength
o Password complexity: HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\LAP\lap_pw\PasswordComplexity: 0 = Require Alphanumeric; 1 = Require numeric (PIN); 2 = No restriction
* Wipe settings
o Number of failed attempts before all your information will go: HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\DeviceWipeThreshold: -1 = disabled; other failed attempts
o Number of failed attempts before displaying codeoword: HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\CodewordFrequency: number of failed attempts
While the last 2 which are more about clearing the data from your phone if you input the wrong password too many times, they do NOT really have to be edited, they are just there for your desires.
With the above changes and a reboot of my device, I now have it so that I can go in to the phone and if you follow the next steps you SHOULD see what I have in mine now.
Start -> Settings -> Lock ->(Input your lock code) then press unlock then where the grayed out check mark is there is the line to change the time values. You should have everything from 0 minute, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours, 12 hours & 24 hours.
If you do, then you have successfully changed the values that you needed to and can now choose a time frame for the device to demand your code input after x minutes / hours of time inactive.
I hope that this helps others that were like me and didn't mind the lock screen of the exchange server settings, but did mind the short amount of time that it gives you to be "idle" from the device.
So far so good, I set my Tilt 2 lock settings to 1 hour, and timed it, at 59 minutes & 59 seconds my screen went to the "slide to unlock" screen, and requested my pin #. Apparently I missed a second somewhere.
Thanks! It works on my Touch HD WM 6.5 rom. my original setting is 15 mins, which is too annoying. Now it's much better!
This is something that has been bothering me for quite some time. I cannot set the phone time accurately, and by this i mean by seconds.
For me, the expected behaviour was that when i set the hour and minute and press ok, the clock would be set and start at the 0 second mark.
Is there a solution, other than rooting the phone, to accurately set the clock ?
Thanks
After Daylight Savings March 11th, every even on my calendar went forward 1 hour. I have starred the issue here

Another bug I found was when I did this:
1. Make a New Event inside the Google Calendar app.
2. Put in any name and time (remember the time for later)
3. Press "Done"
4. Edit same Event
5. Change to any Time Zone
6. Turn off Screen for about 15 seconds.
7. Turn on Screen and press "Done"
8. Turn off Screen for about 15 seconds.
9. Edit same Event
PROBLEM: Calendar has now changed the Time of the Event and set the Time Zone to the Time Zone of your location.

On stock 4.0.4, 2.17.401.2:
1: in the stock Clock app->Timer,my reset button doesn't set the timer back to 0:0:0, it sets it back to 1hr 5min 02 secs. I've tried a restart to no avail.
2: My stock calendar app has a "default reminder time" of none yet every new appointment I set sets a 10 minute reminder.
Well the timer would have no point at being set to 0.0.0?
Else what would you be timing?
I think the timer resets to whatever you set it at last time you timed something e.g. you set the timer at 1 minute, it counts down to 30 seconds and then you click reset, it will return to 1 minute.
As for the calendar app, the reminder is meant to be 10 minutes, so everything seems in order?
I'm sure the timer used to reset to 0, hence the term "reset". It doesn't even go back to the last timer I set, seems to be random.
And no, the default isn't 10 minutes, the default is what you set as the default in the app - whatever I set it to, all new appointments have a reminder time of 10 minutes.
Edit: realised I didn't have "all calendars" selected in the calendar settings so the default reminder listed didn't apply. In this case the default reminder is indeed 10 minutes.
I'm still sure the timer should reset to zero however.
I think your missing the point, the stop watch should reset to zero yes, as that counts up from 0 to something.
Wereas the timer, you want it set at something, to count DOWN to zero. (for baking cookies etc? )
The term "Reset" doesnt have anything to do with taking it back to zero, it resets it to the default value.
Which is why I said the timer should reset to whatever you previously had it timed at.
But it resetting to a random value like 1 hour 5 mins 2 seconds as you stated is a different issue.
Hope I helped
Maybe - I'm just sure it used to go back to zero. Thanks anyway. I can live with it - just glad I got to the bottom of the calendar thing.
I have data off on my phone most of the time. Ideally, I'd like to use tasker/AutomateIt/etc. to turn on WiFi every day at ~6am and sync my calendar and contacts and refresh a Zooper widget to show the weather forecast for the coming day. Searching around it seems like there is no way to force a refresh of the Zooper widget. Is the best/only way to do this to set the Widget to a 30 minute refresh and make sure the WiFi is turned on for, say, 45 minutes every morning? Would this guarantee the widget would get refreshed at least once?
probably.
