What's your CPU Max @? - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

What's everyone running these days. I use lagfree @ 1ghz and seems quick. Using 1.4ghz isn't much of a difference

1.2 with smartass v2
Doesn't use any noticeable battery life and things load faster. Like games

I'm at 3.2 GHz on my phenom 2

I run it at 1.4 ghz with smart ass v2 and I also see a big difference in performance in games like dead trigger, battery life takes a hit but its not enough to stop me from overclocking

Dead trigger tegra 3 on galaxy nexus

Here is a link to modify dead trigger to run tergra 3 graphics. I used ROM tool box it worked the best. http://www.jayceooi.com/2012/07/05/...gra-3-extended-effects-on-non-tegra-3-device/

This is too cool.:good:
Hmm does this make gameplay go slower?
I get a little hiccup when game first starts but after that it runs just like before but I'm using Trinity kernel with 537 GPU

On Tegra 3 CPUs it is also lagging a bit in the beginning. By the way, the higher gpu clock doesn't have any positive effect.

I can't get this to work. It resets to low every time. I'm on jellybean stock rooted.

Are you using ROM tool box and are you saving the settings its working for me.

Very cool! The shotgun is so much more satisfying when it sends em flying backwards And to think I was excited when I noticed I could change from low to high...

1.5 GHz or 1.2ghz

I saw some place online that said our phones have a 1.5 GHz processor in it buts it under clocked to 1.2 to save on battery and so it does not over heat. Does anyone else know if this is true.

Omap 4460 is what we've got.
So yes, the manufacturer intended it to be clocked at 1.5ghz.
Whether it can run in a stable manner at 1.5ghz is up to your individual phone (silicon).
Using a custom kernel it reboots on mine after a while

Texas Instruments recommends the highest clock speed to be 1.5ghz... that's probably what you read.

Cm10 Slow?

I just did 2 quadrant tests and got around 2600 average I'm on the 8/10 build anyone else?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
drivers are still being worked on by qualcom so
I scored close to 4700 on the latest build of cm10

I don't get why everyone is obsessed with quadrant scores jelly bean is just smoother and faster than ICS and quadrant will never show that
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Quadrant is simply a random number generator with "pretty" pictures.
Its completely useless otherwise.
I am think it was because of low battery and the overheating that must've allowed down the cpu because now I'm running at 4800 and 60 not like 30 fps before. So it must be some heating issue with the phone that slows down

Smartbench Scores

Does anyone know why the note 2 scores so low on the gaming benchmark compared to other phones with far less resources? Is it the new quad core causing inaccuracies?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
Benchmarks mean nothing. They are meaningless numbers
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium

So Guys... What's your best benchmark scores?

Well... I'm curious ~... I just managed to break 4000 on quadrant at 1.7ghz with Slimbean, using Franco's kernel~
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I don't think it's wise to compare benchmarks around here... But I still did a quick test and got 4628 under CM11, Franco and 1.5GHz.
