So Guys... What's your best benchmark scores? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Well... I'm curious ~... I just managed to break 4000 on quadrant at 1.7ghz with Slimbean, using Franco's kernel~

I don't think it's wise to compare benchmarks around here... But I still did a quick test and got 4628 under CM11, Franco and 1.5GHz.

Quadrants

What kind of quadrants are people getting from the galaxy nexus? I'm rooted running cm9 nightlies and my quadrants are not as good as I expected. I came from the evo 3D and quadrants on that device were well over 3000. With the nexus I'm getting high 2000's.

Alright I'm gonna have to check that out. This is literally my first day running this phone. So I'm a GNEX rookie. Is that kernal available for the sprint GNEX?

Didn't I just see another thread on quadrant in the general section? I blame whoever started this.
by the way, use antutu.

Hi,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21353455

1.5 GHz or 1.2ghz

I saw some place online that said our phones have a 1.5 GHz processor in it buts it under clocked to 1.2 to save on battery and so it does not over heat. Does anyone else know if this is true.

Omap 4460 is what we've got.
So yes, the manufacturer intended it to be clocked at 1.5ghz.
Whether it can run in a stable manner at 1.5ghz is up to your individual phone (silicon).
Using a custom kernel it reboots on mine after a while

Texas Instruments recommends the highest clock speed to be 1.5ghz... that's probably what you read.

OK thanks for the info.

Quadrant Standard

I have my phone over clocked, as much as I know, and I'm getting a score of about 3300-3400 each test. I'm running the latest CM9 RC2 with Franco Milestone 4 kernel. How can I make it better? Any ideas?

does the phone feel smooth? if so, dont rely on quadrant. it has been proven many times the score doesnt matter.

Why?

Yeah is smooth. My co worker has a two year old android phone with half the specs and the galaxy nexus and that phones getting 2200 a score.

Something doesn't seem right. Haha

let me clue you in with benchmarks...
they dont matter. you can write a kernel that fully goes after what quadrant looks at and score like 14,000.
Alright. Thanks!

Quadrant score lower than normal galaxy nexus

Maguro GSM Galaxy Nexus and Quadrant score = 2208. Why is my quadrant benchmark score so low? Normal Galaxy Nexus score is 2574
Too many apps running? Bad custom ROM? Mine scored a little buy higher than the listed nexus score. 2747

Quadrant is ****y use antutu. Run quadrant multiple times And it will give you high score

Yea quadrant isn't optimized for ICS or jellybean . Use antutu and tell results mine was somewhere near 5000

And here i was thinking that stock JB on antutu scores 6000++
Ran Antutu and scored 6571 but can't compare that to anything because their servers are down.

Highest Galaxy Nexus Quadrant Benchmark Score Ever? Lolz

Never seen my phone score this high on a benchmark before. It's most likely a glitch. Lol. My GNex was clocked at only 1.35ghz btw.

Edit: i can't upload the screenshot for some reason but the score was 8221.
It's quadrant so no one should really care
