You have a lot going on there but it shouldn't run down the battery that that quick, what was the screen on time? and how old is the battery?

That's exactly how mines is.. Had my phone for, 7 months and get that type of battery life.. I screwed up my battery though before my knowledgeable days on XDA.. Gonna just buy a new one off Amazon.. Great deals on there
No doesn't seem normal. Do you leave you phone on the charger for long periods? Maybe a bad battery cell.

Bought the epic touch on release date. Could never get decent battery life on cm9. Thought I'd try a new battery since they're only $13. Went from under 2 hours screen on to 3 hours screen on time. Totally worth the 13$

Nice. I was thinking of getting a second battery. You just get a stock 1800 mAh one?

Moral of the story was if you have crappy battery life. Get a new one.

No problem. Yes I got a new stock oem battery from ebay

You could have picked one up for free at the Sprint store. I just exchanged two batteries, mine and the wife's, they didn't even check me in or look at the batteries. You're right, though, a new battery makes a huge difference.

Would the cable make a difference even though I use the stock adapter?

Maybe adapter would be okay but others ones have different voltage they put out. Like a BB charger I use is 1A and the stock Samsung is 750mA
If I'm not mistaken ?

Just be careful and read the specs on all 3rd party chargers....one I bought for car has trashed the battery.
Sprint just replaced mine, can get up to 12 hours with moderate use

I purchased the Mugen Power extended battery for the T989. It's the exact same phone as ours, but it's the phone used by T-Mobile. It's an expensive battery, but it works well.

I had looked at the Anker battery before, but I don't think it ships to Canada. :/ Too bad, because it seems like a good deal!

As far as I know they do, I bought mine during last year's summer from amazon.ca and the batteries were shipped to me(Ontario) with no problems at all .

I saw those but it didn't say whether you needed a new backplate.
Do they fit under the stock plate? Or do you need a extended plate?

No need for extended backplate fortunately as batteries are same size as original.

Does anyone know where i can get just a regular battery like the one that comes with the phone? it just runs out of battery quite quickly dont necessarily need a extended battery maybe if i had the cash.

How can i tell what charger is correct?
I mean, not all charger for the smarthphones operate at 110-220V and has 500mA to up? I though that a higher amp --> less time to charged
Pc is unable to detect it ...
