Depends on which model you are talking about. The Canadian ones can't. They are only 32GB without any expandable memory. I don't know about the Sprint and Verizon models (although I think there is one that has a microsd slot) but they have their own sections so I would recommend that you ask them in there about it.

32GB N7100 in Australia!!

Hi all,
I live in Australia,
I am wanting to buy either a 32gb or 64gb galaxy note II (the international version), but I cant find any word on when they will be released here.
Does anyone have any idea when the 32gb or 64gb versions will be released in Australia?
and does anyone know what kind of pricing we will be seeing over here (off contract)
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Corey
They haven't been released anywhere yet....who know when they will be released and who knows even when aus will get the 16 GB version

Actually they're available in South Korea, LucidMike has a 64gb LTE one.
I don't think you'll be able to use any of the ROMs or anything here on it though.

Sent a 16GB replacement

Hey guys, I was sent a 16GB nexus as a replacement to my rezound instead of a 32GB. If I speak to them, should I be able to get a 32?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
Thats weird that they sent you a Rezound, unless you asked for it. And do they even have a 32GB version of the Rezound?
EDIT: The Rezound actually has a Micro SD Card slot.
I misread your post. lol. Sorry.
EDIT 2: You are on Verizon right? I thought Verizon Galaxy Nexus only came in 32GB

From wikipedia
"SCH-i515 "Toro": Verizon Wireless's variant featuring 4G LTE connectivity in the 700 MHz band (Band 13) as well as CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A connectivity in the PCS bands (800/1900 MHz). This device features 32 GB of on-board storage, measures 9.47 mm thick and features a 1850 mAh battery. This device's appearance is similar to that of the international version."
The only thing I can think of is that its a refurbished 16GB international version where Verizon they might have added their stuff into it.

T-Mobile 32GB SGH-M919 Variant

I've been waiting for T-Mobile to announce the availability of a 32GB variant of the S4 but everyone I've asked at T-Mobile has no clue or ETA for the device.
Has anyone heard anything about the availability of the 32GB device?
Does anyone know of an alternate S4 device that has 32GB of storage and will support all of the bands that the SGH-M919?
I have to use my device as a business device so I don't plan to root it as my company's MDM and monitoring agents freak out and I get beaten up by the IT police so I'm not worried about being able to load custom ROMs onto the device.
I have a 64GB UHS-1 MicroSD so it's not SD Card storage I'm looking for but actually more storage to use on in the phone's actual memory.
Any thoughts?
Why not just get a memory card?
I have a 64gb microsd card but I want the option of having more than 8gb free that the 16gb phone comes with.

Yeah it's cool to be able to play with it now and as I mentioned I have a 64 MicroSD UHS-1 card but I'm more concerned of having the memory on the phone available for app data or some apps I use for work that I dont have the ability to offload content to the MicroSD for.
So with all that being said does anyone have any idea for the original question I asked about an variant device?
You can buy the AT&T 32gb version, enable AWS and flash t-mobile rom. The phones are the same with aws disabled by software

yes, I have a ATT 32gb sim unlocked (via code from ATT) and AWS bands enabled, look at the thread in the ATT i337 forum on how to do it. to enable AWS you need to flash a new QCN file to the phone.
you can also now fully flash tmobile rom to an ATT S4 look on Galaxys4root.com for that video and also the aws enable video.
Everywhere I have read att has exclusive to the 32gb.
And no they're are not exactly the same, the att has less bands of lte support.

Are you certain? I thought they both have the same specs, modems, and everything. (other than the locked boot loader).

by the way, I see LTE band 2 and band 5 in the configs and they do enable. (can't really test).
I'm pretty sure U.S. GS4 are all the same, capable of using each their own bands of lte. *Obviously I'm excluding gsm vs cdma* we all know that difference.

Yes.
T-Mobile's SGS4 has more bands. ATT's has less bands.
You can use the T-Mobile SGS4 on either carrier no problem. You can't witht he ATT one.
Just google them, you can compare the specs on Samsung's official websites, they list the bands.

No you can't unless something has changed. They will not sell you a device, even at "full retail" if you don't have a plan with them.

If you wait there's a thread in here about an update that let's you put app on the sdcard and Samsung was able to squeeze a Lil more space into the device but it said it's only available to Germany right now

[Q] Questions before moving to T-Mobile's S4

I'm ready to leave Verizon for T-Mobile because the S4 I received from them had ME7 and I really want to be able to flash roms. The S4 is my current choice for the phone to get (coming from a Galaxy Nexus so hopefully better battery life) but I have a couple of questions about whether or not to wait.
Is T-Mobile going to get a 32gb version? If so or maybe so, any ideas when? I've never had a smartphone with an sd card, so I'm not familiar with the limitations that it brings.
Is the S4 going to get an updated SoC? I've read some rumors about it getting a Snapdragon 800 soon. Didn't know if there was going to be an update spec wise this fall/winter for the holiday season.
I have the T-Mobile version and they only sell the 16 GB version, what people have done is buy the AT&T version outright which is 32 GB and put a T-Mobile SIM card in it since they're both GSM networks. I remember hearing rumors a while ago that there was going to be an updated S4 which had LTE advanced and the S800 but IDK if we'll ever get here in the USA. The stock ROM now supports Apps2SD but AOSP ROMs don't, you could always use an app like Folder Mount to do the same thing.

By leaving Verizon you stand to loose nothing but gain the world. .. first off as fast lte or close to vzw speeds..
No bootloader crap.. sd card limitations? Its quite the opposite your concerned about. ..
Sd card phones let u transfer encrypt and add up to 64 gigs on top of the 16 g internal.
There' is no downside to leaving vzw.
The tmobile s4 is a tip top device .
Easy to root ...free Wifi calling that only we have.
No worrys ...come ovr and enjoy tmobile.

I have to agree, I don't miss Verizon one bit. Just a note: wifi calling/texting only works on the official T-Mobile ROM, the Google Edition and AOSP ROMs don't support and it and possibly never will. The only thing I do miss is sometimes I drop down to EDGE for a few minutes in certain areas but having 5-10 Mbps on HSPA(+) everywhere else (20+ Mbps on LTE), JUMP! and unlimited everything makes up for it.

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely be checking out App2SD and possibly other VOIP alternatives to Wifi calling since I don't think I'll be on stock for very long.
