Hi all,
I live in Australia,
I am wanting to buy either a 32gb or 64gb galaxy note II (the international version), but I cant find any word on when they will be released here.
Does anyone have any idea when the 32gb or 64gb versions will be released in Australia?
and does anyone know what kind of pricing we will be seeing over here (off contract)
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Corey
They haven't been released anywhere yet....who know when they will be released and who knows even when aus will get the 16 GB version

Actually they're available in South Korea, LucidMike has a 64gb LTE one.
I don't think you'll be able to use any of the ROMs or anything here on it though.

Has it been leaked or announced if the Verizon version will be available in 16gb, 32gb, or both? Can't find that info anywhere

So the UK must be getting the LTE version as well?
Hi,
I was wondering what is the best version of the galaxy nexus to buy in terms of flexibility/rootability. I am using a T mobile USA sim card and i plan to buy data plan in the future. Also, where is the cheapest place I can get that version?
Thanks

Are you on about the whole nexus family or the 2 variants of the GNex?

+1 Got mine from Play Store. Running off contract on StraightTalk. It will pay for itself in less than a year.

GSM you have one choice, i9250. I suggest buying from the Play Store (good price, full warranty) unless you get a super good deal on a used one.
I'm in the same boat. I want to go from a CDMA variant to the GSM variant and was curious about this too. Is there a real difference between the international gsm version (i9250) and the U.S. Google play store version? For example radio frequencies or software for that matter. Getting it for $300 brand new sealed in box. Thanks.

They are the same hardware & you can flash whichever radio suits your needs.

They're the exact same hardware (pentaband GSM radio). The Play Store one comes with takju firmware, which you want, but any device can be changed to any firmware. The radio can also be changed if you want.
I thought the International version didn't have nfc?

There's only one GSM version, as far as I know, so you might as well get it from the cheapest source (google play, $350 + stuffs).
Don't forget to switch to the $30 100m/5gb t-mobile prepaid. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646755
All gsm have the same hardware, its just the firmwares that are different. The int. comes with yakju or other similar variants while the play store version is takju. Takju is basically yakju + goggle wallet. And if you are in the us, the play store is the way to go. Its a great price and has warranty.

It seems the 32 GB models are only available directly from Sprint at full price. I was wondering if anyone has found them from Amazon or another dealer for cheaper? I can't seem to find them anywhere....
I was hoping to get the 32gb during the run to sprint sale on amazon.com but there was none... I will just wait for the 64gb model to drop in Titanium grey and get another.

Wonder if you can buy it from the mvno ting and just active on Sprint. It's $579 as opposed to the $599 off contract on Sprint

Mini thread necro here, I've been looking for an answer to the same question. It looks as if only Sprint sells the 32gb model, anyone else see it elsewhere? I know Radioshack sells the VZW 32gb, but not Sprint's.
As far as i know international galaxy s3 has a quad core

I'm ready to leave Verizon for T-Mobile because the S4 I received from them had ME7 and I really want to be able to flash roms. The S4 is my current choice for the phone to get (coming from a Galaxy Nexus so hopefully better battery life) but I have a couple of questions about whether or not to wait.
Is T-Mobile going to get a 32gb version? If so or maybe so, any ideas when? I've never had a smartphone with an sd card, so I'm not familiar with the limitations that it brings.
Is the S4 going to get an updated SoC? I've read some rumors about it getting a Snapdragon 800 soon. Didn't know if there was going to be an update spec wise this fall/winter for the holiday season.
I have the T-Mobile version and they only sell the 16 GB version, what people have done is buy the AT&T version outright which is 32 GB and put a T-Mobile SIM card in it since they're both GSM networks. I remember hearing rumors a while ago that there was going to be an updated S4 which had LTE advanced and the S800 but IDK if we'll ever get here in the USA. The stock ROM now supports Apps2SD but AOSP ROMs don't, you could always use an app like Folder Mount to do the same thing.

By leaving Verizon you stand to loose nothing but gain the world. .. first off as fast lte or close to vzw speeds..
No bootloader crap.. sd card limitations? Its quite the opposite your concerned about. ..
Sd card phones let u transfer encrypt and add up to 64 gigs on top of the 16 g internal.
There' is no downside to leaving vzw.
The tmobile s4 is a tip top device .
Easy to root ...free Wifi calling that only we have.
No worrys ...come ovr and enjoy tmobile.

I have to agree, I don't miss Verizon one bit. Just a note: wifi calling/texting only works on the official T-Mobile ROM, the Google Edition and AOSP ROMs don't support and it and possibly never will. The only thing I do miss is sometimes I drop down to EDGE for a few minutes in certain areas but having 5-10 Mbps on HSPA(+) everywhere else (20+ Mbps on LTE), JUMP! and unlimited everything makes up for it.

O Ok that's what I thought, the other guy was telling op that stock supports it.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
The newest update supports it but I don't think our phones got it. I wouldn't really know because I always run AOSP.
Thanks for the info! I'll definitely be checking out App2SD and possibly other VOIP alternatives to Wifi calling since I don't think I'll be on stock for very long. Sadly this thread seems to have died off and apparently this has been a long time coming with little hope : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302313

Edit: Oh and I thought the 32gb version from AT&T had a locked bootloader now.

YES. EXCLUSIVELY TO SOUTH KOREA  Do not expect for 805 version to come abroad...
and no the LTE radios won't work in the US......
Edit - Actually I am not 100% sure the radios won't work in the US. Everything I've read seems to indicate it is only for Korea, but most articles are also focusing on the new LTE-A radio. I haven't seen anything to indicate what other radios are going to be included.
When can we buy one? It will work down here.
The S5 lte-a will work on at&t so I assume the g3 will.

well. this kinda sucks. I just bought the international version less than 1 month ago.

I will hold out for the 805...we all knew it was coming lol.
801 g3 isnt even out yet here in canada so i can wait awhile longer.
