Post battery life here! - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

Here are the rules:
Post your rom, if you're over clocked or stock, what kernel, and the battery you're using.
A screen shot of battery life, screenshot of screen time, and whatever else you feel is worthy of showing.
Also this thread can be used in conjunction to talk about battery life tweaks, extended batteries, and anything else battery related!
Go!

I'll start.
Jedi X6, stock kernel, stock clocks, stock battery.

LTE on almost always, zero wifi usage.
Screen brightness is set pretty low. (my guess is about 15%)
Amazing for a 3100mah battery.
I see no need for an extended battery
EDIT: sorry I must be blind I didn't see the battery stats thread.
Anyhow that's my submission to that thread lol

Battery life

I'm seeing some pretty strong drain on the battery which isn't making me too psyched. I'm going to have to keep push off ... I tend to use bit Gmail and Exchange (work) but as you can see from the screenshot Exchange is a bit of a pig. Anyone else seeing this?

No search will fix the battery life on this awesome phone.
Install Juice Defender. Trust me, its worth it and makes your battery life last more than a day.

Click the graph and see if Email is keeping your phone from sleeping. No way an email app should use that much of your battery.

Why is my battery so "excited"?

Bizarre spike in battery.

More like a gltch in a write to the battery log.
Unless you put it in your pocket around that time. :^)
Could I ask what app are you using to display the battery stats? I've heard of something called better battery or something like that, but I haven't been able to find it.
Thanks in advance.

His screenie is from the built on log. Go to settings/about phone/battery. BetterBatteryStats is a more in depth app that gives you more thorough statistics

Battery life and Rasbean/Trinty

How many of you guys use tethering with your Nexus?
As I sit here in the waiting room, waiting for my girlfriend, I decided to tether to my n7. After 1:40min my battery is down to 35%
Is this normal or is there something wrong?
What kind of battery life do you guys generally get when using rasbean and the trinity kernel?
Thanks guys for the feedback

With this combo I get between 4 to 5 hours screen time.

wow, I wish I could get that kind of battery life
I have to carry 5 batteries just to last the day...
But I remember getting 17 hours, but mostly standby with maybe 1:30 of screen time
are you using stock battery and have you tried the no-name brand?

S3 battery life with overflow 1013 pics included

really don't know why I have such drain. I've used the phone for 20min max and battery life is at 50% it's draining basically 7% an hour while I'm doing nothing. Amy fix?

Your phone is not going to sleep at all, just look at the first picture, it says it's being awake for the whole 10 hours. Probably an app keeping it up.

I had this before, but a reboot seems to fixed the problem for me and never came back.
Under settings > sounds > uncheck dial pad tones, touch sounds , screen lock sound.
Reboot. Keep an eye out for the 1013 wake lock. See if you still have the problem.

Cool, glad it helped you. I'm no expert in the underlying Android OS. However I had the same issues on an HTC device. I scowered the internet looking for a solution.
1013 seems to be some part of the Android media stack for system sounds. And for some off reason, it tends to go rogue and consume battery. *shrugs* glad you aren't chewing through battery anymore.

[Lights.Camera.Action] - Post your best PICTURES taken with your Note 3

By now you should have that one shot that you can't believe still, that it was taken with your Note 3 and not an SLR...
Let it shine...let us see!

I did see that before creating this one...Note: BEST PICTURES. Not just random pictures. It's nice to have a 'hall of fame' thread of users pics than a bunch of pages of random pics from something in your album. That was the point. :good:
BTW, nice pic and nice rig. I really like the sensor in the Note 3, keeps things very natural and not over saturated or warm in color.

Adding "Best" to your title does not warrant a new thread
Threads would also be closed if someone made a new thread for "Best" battery life when there is a battery life thread
Another example would be "Best" 4.3 features...would be directed to the existing 4.3 discussion thread.
Thank you for understanding
