I'm seeing some pretty strong drain on the battery which isn't making me too psyched. I'm going to have to keep push off ... I tend to use bit Gmail and Exchange (work) but as you can see from the screenshot Exchange is a bit of a pig. Anyone else seeing this?

No search will fix the battery life on this awesome phone.

Click the graph and see if Email is keeping your phone from sleeping. No way an email app should use that much of your battery.

More like a gltch in a write to the battery log.
Unless you put it in your pocket around that time. :^)
Could I ask what app are you using to display the battery stats? I've heard of something called better battery or something like that, but I haven't been able to find it.
Thanks in advance.

His screenie is from the built on log. Go to settings/about phone/battery. BetterBatteryStats is a more in depth app that gives you more thorough statistics

How many of you guys use tethering with your Nexus?
As I sit here in the waiting room, waiting for my girlfriend, I decided to tether to my n7. After 1:40min my battery is down to 35%
Is this normal or is there something wrong?
What kind of battery life do you guys generally get when using rasbean and the trinity kernel?
Thanks guys for the feedback

This is normal usage with stock settings and stock battery. But I do not tether.

wow, I wish I could get that kind of battery life
I have to carry 5 batteries just to last the day...
But I remember getting 17 hours, but mostly standby with maybe 1:30 of screen time
are you using stock battery and have you tried the no-name brand?
Here are the rules:
Post your rom, if you're over clocked or stock, what kernel, and the battery you're using.
A screen shot of battery life, screenshot of screen time, and whatever else you feel is worthy of showing.
Also this thread can be used in conjunction to talk about battery life tweaks, extended batteries, and anything else battery related!
Go!

I'll start.
Jedi X6, stock kernel, stock clocks, stock battery.

LTE on almost always, zero wifi usage.
Screen brightness is set pretty low. (my guess is about 15%)
Amazing for a 3100mah battery.
I see no need for an extended battery
EDIT: sorry I must be blind I didn't see the battery stats thread.
Anyhow that's my submission to that thread lol

Edit: all functions seem to work pretty well will comment on battery impact in a few hours
What did you find out? Is it any good? Or does it drain battery like a mf
Another good one is Utter.

Nice, Thanks @kevtrysmoddin
Seems interesting. But seems like it would drain a lot of battery!

Its awesome if you have the extended battery which I don't so the battery drain is more than what I'm willing to allow Lol
As commented above utter is a good alternative that consumes less battery and brings similar features

Yep yep. If you're heavy on your device, especially with games or traveling, an extended battery is fantastic. Had one for my Atrix 4G and used the Droid RAZR MAXX batter in my Atrix HD and was more than happy with the outcome. Hope you're enjoying it!

Butwhen i know i will not have time for it i just simply swirch to the original one. Are like dresses. :good:
