Which browser is best? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

Just curious to see what people are using for a browser?

Dolphin BETA. Hands down the best.

Chrome is my favorite. Syncs with all my desktop Chrome bookmarks.
Sent from my Note 2

I recently started using the Firefox browser. It supports flash, ad block add on, and you can sync it with your computer like you can in chrome.

Yup +1 for FireFox...
Mac

I've been loving Chrome lately.

I've tried and installed most, my vote goes to dolphin beta for regular use, and Firefox beta for flash or online streaming.

Dolphin Beta does Flash too. Check my post history (too lazy to find link right now)...

Use chrome on my desktop, and it syncs my history and all. So predictive text and search history show up. Love it.

The stock browser is the fastest to me and it supports flash.

I have tried those popular ones. Chrome is a kind of my favorite with all power features but it's a bit slow. Dolphin is very good one in all around in any devices but still feel a little heavy. I love AOSP stock browser. You can find a flashable zip in somewhere this forum. I like it maybe because I like CM a lot, too. Controlling tabs is easiest I think.

Dolphin without a doubt

Stock browser. It consistently gets the lowest sunspider scores from the ones I've tried and the difference in loading speed is noticeable in real world situations as well, not just in the numbers.

CHROME BETA BROWSER APP difficulties

I love the chrome beta browser. It's fast, fluid, and efficient. But every time I go to Facebook it won't let me scroll down. I have to wait three to five minutes for it to tell me scroll down. This just happens when I go to Facebook. So now I'm back to using dolphin browser that I'd also a really good web browser. Any suggestions? Anybody else encounter this problem/bug?

Tethering no longer working?

I'm on the east coast and we were affected by Sandy. I was able to tether to my laptop for 1-2 hours until I was redirected to their hot spots home page. I used the beta wifi tether app. I also tried easy tether and I get the same thing.
I am on CM10 fwiw

If you're on the truly unlimited plan then no you can't. Use the search function and Google. There are hundreds of threads pertaining to tethering.
On a side note,
How are your speeds? Mine are like 50-70 kB/s download. Thinking maybe sandy effected it but I don't recall them being any better before sandy.

You just need to change your user agent. If you use Chrome, then change it to Safari. If you want you can just use Safari or Firefox as your browser as well. IE will get this, and Chrome will if you don't change your user agent.

I think Firefox is blocked as well, you can use anything but those two. You can even use the "on mac" user agents, such as chrome on mac apparently they don't block Mac users

Linking pop up browser to chrome.

Is there a way to link the pop up browser in frostyJB to google chrome instead of the default samsung browser?

You should be able to select what browser to use when you click something.

Blurry Picture content while browsing?!

Hey peeps,
I am not sure if it's only me but somehow when I browse pictures on the Internet via chrome or various apps almost every pic looks blurry. Any ideas why?

Do you have a screen protector on?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
I'm assuming that's Chrome BETA. I have the same problem and I believe that it's a known issue.
Stick with regular Chrome or wait for them to fix it.

I get it in Chrome BETA, not any other browsers. It's most noticeable when scrolling and it affects both pictures and text... like double vision or something.
I was thinking that if the problem you are having is just low-quality images showing, then that could be caused by an app like Onavo Extend, which compresses web photo's to save bandwidth and at the same time lowering their quality. Are you using Onavo?
Is it possible to get a screenshot of the exact problem you're having?

One browser? Any android browser?

Anyone uses one browser have an issue with seeing some menu options? Everything is always blank for me. Is there anyway to fix this myself or is it the developers issue to fix?
Also anyone recommend any browsers? I used to use dolphin which was the best ever but lately its only been getting worse. All I need is a browser that kind of has the "speed dial" options of dolphin (a start up screen with links to bookmarked pages).

Have you tried opera mobile?

Or if you're using an Android version above Gingerbread, you can use Chrome for Android

Speed dial plus speed is UC Browser (English version), but I doubt you won't like it. As for me I use UC when I download things (multithread acceleration) but use Jellybean's default browser for else.

I haven't tried opera yet. And chrome isn't exactly what I'm looking for but I could give it a try. And ill try uc too. Thanks for ur replies.

Flashplayer doesn't seem to work on uc so I need to find something else lol.

I'm using opera on 4.2.2. Maybe you have a DPI conflict with the play store. Flash works sometimes on opera, but is getting progressively jankier as time goes by.

Nope, that's a history issue for UC 7.x, they need a plugin. UC 8 natively support as I've read somewhere.

Ya I've changed the dpi ofmy phone. I guess ill just stick with one browser for now its only problem is the menu options don't show but other than that it works fine.
