Use RootExplorer. Then go to /d/clk/mdp_vsync_clk/enable. Change the value 0 to 1 using init.d script. And.. my question, It is will make the vsync really working?or not?

possibly works on cm10 a3 kernel 3.0? because I see the file and its values is 0. should I change to 1?
nvm, I tried to change but after reboot the values resets to 0 again
Go to this thread , download vsync activator. Install via cwm with mount/system. Next, use script manager go to /system/etc/init.d, run as root and run as boot. Then, you can run it. Dont forget to save.

Are you guys making sure you're using the cache wipe and super wipe scripts, and not doing anything within the recovery menus? Backup and reboot are the only 2 recovery options that should be used.

If you use TWRP recovery you can wipe from recovery. I have been using this recovery for almost 2 weeks. I have flashed both ICS leaks CM9 and AOKP without issues aside from known bugs.

If I recall set CPU doesnt work so well with the kernels. I was told to use "system tuner" and it works give it try. There is a free and paid version in play store.

I am sharing a new method of rooting through an app called Farmaroot. I am not a developer. I am just sharing this . Just follow the original thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276
And also give thanks to the developer. I tried that method on GB 2.3.6 and it is 100% working. You don't need to flash anything through the recovery or odin. It's 100% safe.

it didnt work for stock GB rom, tested twice.
stock GB rom dont have swap function.
custom rom will work.
Absolutely, if your kernel doesnt support swap ram, turbo boost will never work.

Thanks OP for bringing this thread here.
Just tried this mod and check swap size via terminal emulator but was'nt sure if it succeed or not.
So, can someone post a screenshot of the terminal emulator showing your available swap size?
Edit: Can you please also state your current rom and kernel
Rom: Liquid Smooth v2.9
Kernel: Madridii 3.4 v1.5.5 (370MB)
And another question. How can we check if our kernel support swap file?
One noob question How aroma installer use? Flash via CWM?
Galaxy W dan gönderildi.
@AzizWahid its swapped on me View attachment 2179184
@mylord92 aroma? Flash the script via cwm. Then you will know what is "aroma".
Sent from my GT-I8150 using xda premium
I promise it will working that if you are using arco, madridi, hurtsky, honeyx, hadidjapri or other custom kernel.

Thanks eryzerz! Now if you'll excuse me i'll go catch my wonder.:victory:
works greet with me :good:
I'm using LS Rom Release 2
with madridi kernel 3.4.x
Work perfect on CM9 with Hurtsky V4.1 kernel 125mb swap file and nearly 200mb free on ram disk
Got it to work finally after reflashing rom, gaaps and kernel
Thank you
Is there any chance to break my device?
If I want to go back without this script, what I should do?
Edit: Found it , I will try that mod thank you
