I want to change the number format from the dialer of the phone. The phone has the american type now XXX XXX XXXX, I tried with moreLocale2 but no success. Can someone help me?

Hello, I purchase an Verizon Incredible from ebay, it's ezn thingy is clean but I live in the UK. I need the phone activated but can't activate it here as the number it dials doesn't connect since it' cdma. I was wondering if there was a rom or mod that can remove the activation and/or the phone functionality as I would just like to use it as a media device?
any help on this, would be greatly appreciated,

If you are wanting to install a new rom just skip the activation. Take cyanogenmod for example when the activation screen comes up with the android on it, press the four corners around the screen and it will skip activation. I think the skip is pretty standard across rom but I'm not 100% on that. It does work on Cyanogenmod though.

Is the phone rooted and s-off?
*NOTE: you need to be using a ROM that has EPST.apk (Sense or stock based) in it for this procedure to work.
1. Select emergency call and dial ##778.
2. Select edit and enter service password 000000.
3. Select NAM Settings.
4. Change Mobile Directory number to 0000000000 (Ten digits).
5. Change MIN1 to 0000000 (Seven digits).
6. Change Mobile Country Code to 000 (Three digits).
7. As you back out "Commit the Change".
Hope this helps. Worked for me with no issues.

Do you have the original numbers for verizon in the US? i had it written down but can not find it.
I'm using roboto mod and my device can't send text messages. then i changed ROM to modpunks CM9 but it still fails . how did you think its my phone or ics mistake?
Try stock rom. If the problem persists it will be phone's problem .
Can you see incoming messages?

Check SMS settings. maybe SMS carrier number is required!
If yes then check your operator SMSC number. I have this problem too. Go to your dialer and type *#*#4636#*#* don't call to this number. It open debug menu. Go to the first (Information about phone) and find "SMSC:" (It is somewhere down.) Then type in your operator SMSC number and press Update. I found my operator SMSC on google. Try this. Hope this help.

Hi there,
I know this has been asked and answered a million times, but I cannot find my MSI number anywhre in this phone.
The main reason is whe I goto - ##DATA#, hit edit, there is no screen that pops up to have me enter a wrong MSI number, so I can't fetch the real one with any of the apps. I can't enter the wrong MSI number anywhere in the phone.
My device is rooted, and I am trying to flash it to cricket.
Any idea if here is another place to enter the MSI number so it comes back invalid so I can use the programs to get the real one?
Any other way to get one? Do you have any idea why when I goto the data menu, theMSI # screen won't come up?

So I bought this phone used.
I put sim card .. the phone shows the Carrier, even shows the APN settings . But I can't make calls (emergency calls only)
The imie of the device found on back is For Factory Unlocked 928A and I contacted ATT and confirm it's unlocked.
The Problem is : when you dial *# 06 # the phone shows a different imei number. And this particular number when looked up doesn't belong to any device on Earth. Using imei checker. And when going to service mode it shows imei: NG
So.
The first step on solution is to restore the original imei number that belongs to the device . That's logic right ?
How can I?
What about efs partition ?
I am on latest Nougat. Can't downgrade to 5.1.1 to root and try to change imei or restore efs
Trying downgrade in Odin give FAIL lol

Hi,
My wife got a test model from her friend who worked for Starbuck. The phone can with the original box and valid IME number, but Verizon can't assign the Number to the phone. The rom seem to be lock and can't access the service menu either.
Can I flash a new ROM on it? Will this give me access to the system and access the service menu?
Any help would be much appreciated,
