Back on my Epic 4G Touch, Calk had made a script that would go through and delete all of the nonsense that Sprint and Samsung installed, but wasn't necessary. I love the stock ROMs, but I had the added bloat that Samsung and Sprint force upon you. I can manually go through and delete the .APK files, but I don't really know which ones are vital. Does anyone have a script that we can flash in TWRP to remove all of the craziness?

There might be an easier way, but what I do is just flash a stock rom and use titanium backup to backup the apks

Grab a stock rom from the development section below. Open it with whatever zip program you use. In system/apps folder you will find the apps. Extract them and install like any other app. If you have one that doesn't install you will have to do as stated above.
If I wanted to delete some APKS from srf 1.2 zip file so they don't re install when I flash can I just go into the file delete those apks. Or will that cause problems in other places I am thinking not but am just wondering?

Yeah I wasnt going to do anything important just stuff like galaxy s tuner and kies air and other stuff I have never used
yup, i generally do that with all roms i download.. go through and pull out stuff i don't want/need before flashing..
Thanks for the fast response I just did it so hopefully next time I flash it is a little cleaner I made a copy of the original in case I did something wrong I can always install it the way it has always worked in the past.
Ok I know some of you out there like the sprint app's I have a friend that likes them.
So I am curious is there any packages with the sprint apps like nfl and nascar etc. That will work on the new custom GB roms? Or how I can get them and test them.
If I am missing it somewhere please point me in the right direction.
Thanks.

Grab the first Deodexed ROM posted by ACS and just use 7zip to pull them out of the ROM package and push them to your phone with root explorer. They will be in the system/app directory.
Here is one that should have all stock apps:

Ok thanks I will try that, and test that.
I like Sprint TV myself, I have kept a copy safe with Titanium Backup. You would have to go back to stock then make a backup of the apps to want then reflash your desired rom, download TB and restore the apps you want. There is an easier way im sure. Im new at this.
I have UCALH9 installed on my S3, it's rooted. I was installing some basic mods, 15 toggles, etc and when I installed the NoWifi mod it for some reason deleted my settings app. I am trying to get it back and was hoping someone would be able to send it to me or have a link to one.
Please let me know,
Rob

You could also use 7Zip to pull it out of the LH9 zip. It should be in system/apps/. Then just copy into system/apps/ on your phone, fix permissions (rw-, r--,r--), then reboot. Don't try to actually use the apk installer by tapping on it and choosing install.

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a "stock" debloated rom right now for the S4, all of them have some customization.
If you are looking for a really excellent rom to flash "Wicked v3" check this out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265998
It is not stock but it has all the carrier and samsung bloatware removed and has many outstanding features.
Good luck!
So what firmware will I have if I will buy s4 directly from samsung store etc. That's something what I am looking for my s4.

get titanium backup to remove any carrier bloatware apps, if you already have root then get a SU manager app and download goomanager and get TWRP recovery on your phone, after that you can download a stock.qmg to have the international i9500 boot up screen without the tmobile in it. that's as stock as I think you can get.

Titanium Backup no longer deletes all the bloatware system apps, it used be able to do remove
a lot of it before the S4 hit the scene. All Titanium can do now is simply "freeze" the system apps.
There are only perhaps 2-3 system apps at most which it can delete now, hopefully Titanium will
get updated so it will have the ability again to really do a good job getting rid of the bloatware.

Oh, I don't really use that to delete bloatware, I usually use root explorer and just delete the apps I just wanted to give him a easy workaround, you can also get an app called no more bloat o something like that, I works wonders.

Yes, root explorer can delete any files.
That's about the only way we can remove/delete bloatware now.
Even the "System App Remover" and the "Root Uninstaller" app
from the play store no longer removes/uninstall bloatware.
Those apps also need to be upgraded so they can delete bloatware in the S4.
OP just make sure that instead of deleting the apps with root explorer you 'move' them to a folder in your sd card, that way if you mess anything up you can always move the apps back where they belong. Best of luck.

??? No problems with TB whatsoever and i've been using it on the S4 since the beginning a month ago.
It deletes everything i want to, even without having a backup of the item.
