I got an N7105, using it on T-Mobile in Colorado
I got an N7105. I am using it on T-Mobile in Colorado, around the Fort Collins area.
It mostly shows "E" (EDGE), and it really crawls. Occasionally, (rarely), it shows "G" (and still crawls).
When there is Wi Fi access, you can breathe.
Anyone knows status of T-mobile "Re-framing", and is it relevant?

skyrocket solution work on s3???

first, sorry if im posting in the wrong area. also, im sorry if there has been a solution and i missed it. i did search. i used to have the 727 skyrocket and moved on from it for another device. however, while using it i had 3g with tmobile using i think it was the blaze radio. any chance of doing this with the att version s3? looks like the bands are the same. i found a great deal on a s3 and want to pull the trigger but i dont want to be stuck on edge with tmobile. im pretty sure 1900 has not been refarmed up here in the boston area yet.
thanks for your help in advance.
nobody? a few reads but no replies...
There is currently no ability to use the AT&T version of the S3 on T Mobile's 1700mhz band.

N1700 for 500.00

Is this a good deal guys? I got offered it, a white, barely used.. i have tmobile and wanted to know the difference, i know it wont get tmobile 4g speeds (which doesnt bother me because i dont have data anyways). And the n1700 gets updates way ahead, no crapware, and better dev.
Any hardware differences? I keep searching but it looks to be the same.
So which would you guys take? A T889 500.00 or a N1700 for 500.00?

T mobile's 4G network is HSPA+ up to 42Mbps, which the N7100 supports.
Did you mean n7100?

Yes.
if I'm not wrong T mobile is using HSPA+ and not LTE. (I'm not sure is a 100% it's T Mobile, I don't live in the US..)

Note 2 N7100 US

Hey everyone, just wanted to know if there were any users of the N7100 in the US? What they thought of the service and functionality also GPS. I'm on AT&T and switching from an Xperia TL. I don't really care about LTE, as long as I can get 4G here in Los Angeles, I don't download things enough for it to be a big difference. I'll have the phone Monday, so any thoughts before then would help. (I will be checking for the emmc bug right out of the box, if its bad I'm sending it back anyway.)

I have an international note 2 and live in Maryland, as long as you're in the more populated areas you should be fine for H+ such as the metropolitan areas but once you leave there it gets pretty scarce and you're mostly going to be in edge, I'm on t mobile usa and I'm not sure how it is on other carriers, you shouldn't have any problems with with gps.

Living in Baltimore since April and can confirm what hendog4385 said. I'm also on T-Mobile.

Well, my phone just experienced SDS and living in the US, it seems near impossible to get anything done about it. So that's something to consider. I need a new phone now, and it will likely not be another international device after this experience.
Hi, I have GT7100 and live In Ohio. I used to receive 2g(edge), T-Mobile installed 1900mhz in my city, now I'm receiving hspa+ faster than LTE. If you can't receive hope from T-Mobile. You should consider Straight Talk or att t. Straight talk is the best solution

Cannot lock on to a 4G signal on my SM-N900T

Hi
So I have a T-mobile unlocked SM-N900T that I'm currently using in London. I'm on Lycamobile and want to try their 4G network but for some reason my phone just will not connect to LTE. 3G works fine but that's as far as it will go.
I've been able to use 4G in India on the same phone so I know it does work, but for some reason it just wont connect here. I've tried the *#2263# service menu and selecting LTE -> ALL just gives me the no signal / network icon.
Have tried resetting, pulling out the battery and SIM but nothing seems to work.
Has anyone had these issues or any suggestions?
Oh - phone is Unrooted and running the latest KK update.
Any help or advice is graciously accepted. Cheers!
They just might be using a band for LTE that the phone doesn't have/support.

Thanks, shouldn't this phone be able to handle the various bands though?

It handles a bunch of them, but not all. I'd look up the band their service uses for 4G, and see if it's compatible with your phone.

Cheers sir. I'm on the phone with them now and they don't seem to know! What are the usual bands that would normally be used in London though?

Find a phone that they sell and look up spec's and compare.

Thanks Andrew. I'll give that a go. They've called me a few times but keep reading from the same script. Was promised a call back on Sunday, but nothing and its Tuesday already!
They don't offer contracts as they are only PAYG but let me look up specs for O2, as they piggyback their network.

Ok. ..so it would seem that the tmobile phones operate on different lte bands. So I've attempted to flash an international rom on this phone and as the Eagle eyed will note, this was done successfully. I should therefore have an international modem etc now? But I still can't connect to 4G! So does this mean that this is a device (actual hardware) issue or can this be sorted by flashing a modem that allows me to connect to all bands?

Ummm...not trying to be a ****, but why would you repeat a previous post?
Can anyone please advise if flashing a new modem will sort this out for me? I've already tried Knox so may as well give it a try. Suggestions and expert advice please?
