Using sfhub's ff18 odin oc will not affect the nvram settings afaik. So flash away...

Verizon's network settings are stored in the NVRAM. Almost nothing you flash here will write to NAND or affect the NVRAM, so you're good. You may have to make some changes to your APN after the flash, though, to get mms working.
I just rooted my fiance's epic 4g/samsung galaxy s2 with Odin (she was/is on FJ12 firmware) and after rooting, I am just wondering how I would go about flashing a new rom onto it. Is it safe to use android recovery to flash a rom with CWM? Just wondering where to go from here. Rooted 3 devices and flashed them but they usually came with CWM. Not sure about android recovery

FJ12 is virgin mobile.
I have no idea if flashing roms for you will be same as flashing for sprint. I have steps listed here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1953783 but thats keeping sprint in mind.
Well, I got my rooting from here. Doesn't say anything about flashing a new rom onto it though. :\

Same H/W (just like my MVNO) - just different settings.
Flash as if it's Sprint but keep in mind that MMS will break until you manually correct and things will show as Sprint, not Virgin. Not sure if 4G will need the realm changed or not...
If a sprint galaxy s3 is flashed to boost what roms can i flash? sorry dont want to mess it up.
Yes you can. You just need to make some changes in settings to get MMS to work.

what are the changes? sorry i just havent done this before thanks for the help in advance
I have a Sprint flashed to Iusacell here in Mexico, and I flash Sprint ROM's, its okay, it wont mess with your number/data/signal.
I dont use the MMS so I cant give you advice on that, but im sure you can flash without problems
I recently acquired a sprint gs3 that was flashed to be used on page plus. I would like to know if there is any way to get the phone back to normal on sprint. any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to gs3 it does have odin mode but im new to gs3 i have htc evo 4g rooted. how do i do what you just said there?
Try Odin to flash the stock rom with data wipe, then connect it to your sprint account and activate it. Should replace anything they did to get it on the other carrier.

Having trouble finding a stock rom?
If you could post a link to get the rom I can try flashing it and wiping the data. Help is appreciated as always. Please give me guidance I would love to have this phone working. It should have a clean esn
Well most important you have to see of it has a clean ESN. If it doesn't you are screwed and have to use it on pageplus or another prepaid.

I searched but I don't think I found the answer.
Previously I flashed the HTC one V to Pageplus using CDMA workshop and QPST. I believe I changed several settings via both. CDMA workshop for voice and QPST for data.
Now I need to revert the phone back to the stock mode and back to Virgin Mobile. Will simply flash a stock rom do the trick? Is there a guide how to revert it back to stock?
TIA
Were you able to change your prl

Just flash back over a virgin mobile prl the latest one is 61009 and then when it comes back on do a RTN restore ##786#. There you go. Let me know if you need any other help with it.
did this work? i want to flash my htc one v back to virgin mobile from page plus. This is the only thread i've seen and there is no follow-up.
please let me know...thanks!
Did it work? I want to do the same

We you able to flash it back? Did you install a custom rom after you flashed PP? I would like to try and flash PP, but i recently installed a custom Rom (RhythmicRom v1.2e). Not sure what to do first/next. Thanks.
although I have no way of using this on virgin network, i did ruu, flashed the prl, and ##786#... it gave me a menu to reset all. i did the reset and the phone rebooted.

The best for you is to check your details and just RUU it. It's the easiest and most comfortable way of doing it AFAIK.
