If a sprint galaxy s3 is flashed to boost what roms can i flash? sorry dont want to mess it up.

Yes you can. You just need to make some changes in settings to get MMS to work.

what are the changes? sorry i just havent done this before thanks for the help in advance

I have a Sprint flashed to Iusacell here in Mexico, and I flash Sprint ROM's, its okay, it wont mess with your number/data/signal.
I dont use the MMS so I cant give you advice on that, but im sure you can flash without problems

Using sfhub's ff18 odin oc will not affect the nvram settings afaik. So flash away...
Sent from my E4GT via xda
Verizon's network settings are stored in the NVRAM. Almost nothing you flash here will write to NAND or affect the NVRAM, so you're good. You may have to make some changes to your APN after the flash, though, to get mms working.

[Q] Sprint Gs3 On Page plus and want it back on sprint to activate it please help

I recently acquired a sprint gs3 that was flashed to be used on page plus. I would like to know if there is any way to get the phone back to normal on sprint. any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to gs3 it does have odin mode but im new to gs3 i have htc evo 4g rooted. how do i do what you just said there?
Try Odin to flash the stock rom with data wipe, then connect it to your sprint account and activate it. Should replace anything they did to get it on the other carrier.

Having trouble finding a stock rom?
If you could post a link to get the rom I can try flashing it and wiping the data. Help is appreciated as always. Please give me guidance I would love to have this phone working. It should have a clean esn
Well most important you have to see of it has a clean ESN. If it doesn't you are screwed and have to use it on pageplus or another prepaid.

Accidentally installed Sprint Stock rom on at&t. Help please.

So I don't have much knowledge with rooting and flashing, I just got into it and successfully installed a custom rom on my Note 2. I told a friend about it and he attempted to do the same to his Note 2. He was successful as well but he kept looking into different roms and something went wrong. He then tried to return to stock rom with Odin but accidentally got a sprint stock rom instead. Now his phone won't boot and he's tried installing the correct at&t stock rom but it just fails in Odin. It was dumb of him, he just did things without much research I've tried searching but all I keep finding is the returning to stock via Odin solution and it keeps failing. Any help would be appreciated.
Flash att kernel then flash att rom any one! Then after ya do that try factory reset. And if ya wanna use odin try that for att stock and go from there

im surprised the sprint rom even worked. If the advice above doesnt work then try to flash just a custom recovery by itself. then boot into it and restore the att stuff using that instead of odin.

[Q] Lost firmware, stuck!

Hi, I have gotten myself into a sticky situation and I could use a little advice. I rooted my SGH-I317 Note 2 (AT&T) and installed a custom ROM. After installation, I noticed that my network connection was unavailable and I could not make/receive calls etc. My sys restore fails with the MD5 error, so I was looking for a solution to make the fix happen. I tried installing a stock ROM but I'm still showing "unknown" baseband version so I'm assuming I need a ROM with my correct firmware? Any help is appreciated.. 7:30am here and been working on this all night. I need my phone! : )

Im pretty sure if you find the correct modem for your note (at&t) and flash that in recovery it should get your phone calls working again.

[Q] Boost mobile galaxy s3 not workig after flashing a rom

This is my first post. Whenever i try to flash a sprint version of any rom on my gs3 from boost my LTE doesn't work. The only way my data will work is if i switch it to CDMA which means no 4g. I even tried dialing ##72786# to reset my data connection but that didn't work either. Does anyone know of a solution to this?

Did you try using Odin to go stock?

I finally tried something that I never did before. Before flashing the rom I wiped my dalvik and cache partition. When I did that everything worked fine. 3g and 4g is working. I'm currently on the peoples rom Thanks for the help.

I was wondering did you flash stock Sprint rom first? Also did you have to do the MMS fix? I am trying to flash a custom rom for my mothers new S3 but I am not really too sure about it since it is on Boost. If I wanted to flash back to stock, would I just use the stock Sprint firmware again? Did you flash 4.3 or an earlier version? I heard that the new 4.3 update has the Knox built in like the newer devices but not too sure if what I read was correct

That's correct. If your data doesn't work you'll have to change your APN settings since most of these ROMs are for the sprint s3 and not the boost mobile. I flash ROMs a lot and sometimes the data work so I won't have to change my APN. If you need help with that I can help

thanks very much for your reply, you are the right person ive been looking for about a month now. i have downloaded a sprint stock rom JB 4.3 from sammobile for which id be flashing to my new boost mobile s3.
the essence here is am in Ghana with this device and obviously i have to change carrier because i cant have boost service here. My phone is still fresh in box and locked for that matter (only upgraded to JB 4.3 OTA). I would just like to unlock it for NAM configuration any help? Do i realy need to flash a sprint rom first?
version (*#1234#)
AP: L710VPUBMK5
CP: L710VPUBMK5
CSC: L710SPTBMK5
PLS HELP ME UNLOCK THIS DEVICE
I really don't know how to unlock a phone but I wouldn't mess with your phone since you did the OTA update to get 4.3. You have Knox now and that's bad to have. You can mess your phone up and void your warranty if you do anything with that knox
