I set the APN settings per the instructions, but it still fails to connect. What else am I missing? This is At&t btw.
Thanks
I had the same problem few days ago, but it turned out the problem was from StraightTalk. Call them and ask them to look into your account.

Tried looking for the answer on the forums but couldn't find an answer. I got the wifi bug where your wifi turns on randomly throughout the day. Does anyone know if a fix or if Samsung is in the process of making an OTA fix?

Go to system settings>> wireless and networks >>more settings>> mobile networks>>uncheck automatic connections
Sprint versions have this option to disable it.
Has anyone noticed on certain networks that wifi is continuously downloading(incoming arrow always lit)... i wonder if it has to do with the auto connection thing? Doesnt seem to be affecting batt life but its kind of annoying... at my house it does it but not at work... maybe a router issue?

I have continued issues with receiving picture texts.... I almost always have to tell the sender to send it once more for it to come through. I've also noticed my H bars turning from Blue to Grey when this happens.... Any ideas as to what could be causing this? At&t looks dumbfounded every time I go in or call about this....

TBH, it sounds like an ATT issue.
I know the common thought is that grey bars means lost connections to Google, but when that happens to me, I have always lost network connectivity.

Remove your Google account then add again. Reboot.
Edit, custom ROM? I went back to stock because of many random issues since 4.1.2 was officially released.

mms is either apn related problem or just bad coverage (no good data in area)
you can google different apn settings to try
I have to use go smd to view mms depending on what ROM I'm using.

I had roam control on my phone not too long ago & it worked perfect. Nothing it didn't do that I wanted it to..
Well I recently put it back on my phone & it's still working , but now, whenever I am in Roam Only mode.. Nobody can call my.phone.. When they do, it just goes straight.to my.voicemail.
I used to be able to receive calls just fine, whether I was roaming or not.
Anyone have any ideas of why it may be doing this?? Would appreciate any input.. Thanks guys!!

What is your rom, kernel, modem, and prl?
I took a screenshot of my about phone section and attached it. Is that what you were asking for? I don't know how to check my prl. If you can tell me how, I would appreciate it..

At the top of that page where you took the screenshot should be a Status or Phone Status option... tap that and scroll down to see the PRL.
For example my prl is 60690 and it roams just fine.
Mine says, PRL 21092

& I have come to find out that, if someone calls me it goes straight to voicemail & it's not just when I'm using roam control app.. It's anytime I roam at all...
How can I fix this??

Are they doing work in the area? This happened to me during NV upgrades.

Don't think so. I have horrible service where I live. I'm on sprint, but for some reason I get no signal here usually. That's why I use my roaming sometimes. But I've used the roam control app before & would get calls just fine when roaming. Then I had to reset my.phone and reinstall the app, & now I can't get calls while roaming, at all.

For some reason I've been having an issue with mobile data ceasing to function after enabling then disabling Wifi.
I'm on Ting an MVNO of Sprint. Shouldn't make much of a difference but has anyone had this problem?
If I reboot, mobile data works, right up until I toggle Wifi on and off.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
Another observation. If I toggle Network Mode from CDMA+LTE/EVDO and then back again mobile data function will restore. So now I've found a way to avoid a necessary reboot, but still, wondering why this is happening.

Got things working after messing with apn config file.

What did you do? I'm also using Ting and have a Samsung Galaxy SIII running CM10.2. I have no data and not sure how to configure APNs..
This Ting help forum has a download that worked for me with CM. LTE working fine now.

Thanks for the post, though I solved the issue as well two days ago. I'll post my thread here just incase some other poor soul wanders in with the same issues as I.
I'm having issues with my WiFi calling's caller ID when im home(Optimum Online).
Caller ID always comes up with the caller's phone number with a semicolon and two random digits afterwards(62 or 63)
Went to my friends house and it worked perfectly there(he has FiOS)
Am I the only one with this issue?
This actually a known issue with note 3 wifi calling. Happens to me at work on comcast and at home on fios.

I got time warner. Same thing happens

It is a known issue please call T-Mobile and report the issue so they will fix it.
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
It looks like if I get a call from a T-Mobile number, it works fine. All other carriers have the semicolon issue.
Not a home internet carrier issue
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
The really odd thing is that it never happens for me (even with receiving calls from other carriers). I have Comcast for my ISP and no semicolons or extra numbers are displayed. The only thing I haven't tried is receiving a call from a number that I dont have in my contacts. Maybe thats why I dont have a problem?
