No problem dude! Most people say the official one is buggy or bad battery life. I honestly like touchwiz after fiddling around with alot of aosp roms that im using this rom as my Daily driver:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2028671
its based on latest jb build rogers ziplaligned all that good stuff. i suggest you check it out if you're rooted to be honest im waiting for 4.2.1 that cm team is making heard its gonna be awesomee

I installed the flash provided in the link above but when I try to watch videos on opera mobile, it tells me there is a newer version of flash.. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Well, thanks anyway for thinking of us.
The question is who can deodex this and not break market I tried one by Whitehawkx and then tried deodexing it myself and ended up FCs on swype and samsung keyboard plus broken market
this is old. but the question should be is there a rooted version deodexed
I was forced via OTA to install. Only bug I had after install was bootloop. so i factory reset, wiped cache and davlik and rebooted.
after that i used the Samsung Galaxy S II Toolkit Beta V2.3 from ajster1989. (thanks dude!!! works great!!!) flashed recovery and then rooted.
all seems to be working fine since yesterday. No market FC. Restored all my apps with Titanium and still no issues or FCs.
Running on stock kernel.
Now waiting for ICS on 6/11/2012 install from TMO.

UVLDE is the official update that dropped last week for gingerbread. It includes new, bug-fixed chipset drivers.

DDW is tweaked and debloated (among other things). The best thing the UVLDE update has to offer is the update to the Qualcomm chipset drivers...otherwise it's mostly just another official gingerbread firmware.
I wouldn't suggest doing any official updates from any unofficial firmware. If you want to do the official updates I'd recommend using Odin to return your phone to 100% official firmware before allowing any official update to be applied via Kies or OTA. I personally always use Odin or CWM recovery to apply all firmwares. I don't trust in-place upgrades to install without problems.

GAPPS - Google Now Add-On
Whoever needs it, tested on MIUI JB for Galaxy Nexus.

Edit: Normal GAPPS put many APK which are not required in MIUI and will create duplicates like Google Calendar, Google Music and Gallery. This is clean and has only Google Now framework and Talk.

Adobe Flash apk( Latest)

Not Long ago Adobe decided to discontinue flash player for android. And just after a few days, it eventually removed flash from Play store. But there was always Modaco( Paul O'Brien) who came into the rescue and wrote an app to download from adobe's server. I noticed that it was removed from the play store today.
For those who were not lucky enough or just wanna save a copy you can get it below;
View attachment install_flash_player.apk
does it work on the JB 4.1.1?
Yes, with certain browsers like xscope and boat.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
What version is this one? To cross reference it with the one I have. I think I got an update the other day for it from the playstore. Can't remwber if it was for my N7 or note 10.1. Note 10.1 had to have flash sideloaded also. I think they getting rid of flash no matter which android version you on.
It's version 11.1

Installation aborted? why is this not an APK?
Is it possible to fake the Flash Player version number. There are some sites which require Flash 11.2 so I can't display the content on my phone, because the latest version is 11.1.
Does it work for chrome?
Hey, thanks for the post. I am quite curious to know that does it work for chrome as well?
It worked for default browser but not for chrome. Any workaround???

Chrome doesn't support flash. No workaround other than using a browser that supports flash.

They are eventually doing away with flash, maybe it was html 5 you read about, because I highly doubt chrome will go flash.

Yeah, let's hope ALL sites do away with flash by the end of the year... fat chance. Chrome would be sooo much better supporting flash, it's just wasting space on my N7 now.

RC 2.4.1 does not work on CM10, it was only updated to work on Sprint GS3 running ICS. Based on app site description, MrGreg plans to update the app to work on JB but there is no timetable.
Thanks for the update,I guess I misunderstood the info on the site.

I used this one com.adobe.flashplayer_111102059_11.1.102.59.apk, then copied lib.zip to system folder and set permissions.
Work with stock internet browser, Opera and Dolphin also work with flash player application called SmartSWF.
- Android 2.3.6
- stock ROM
- rooted
