anybody tried this on a Jelly Bean ROM? I think you have to delete the old version first. Note: you must download the apk from their website, as it is not on the market. It's not working for me on CM10...

RC 2.4.1 does not work on CM10, it was only updated to work on Sprint GS3 running ICS. Based on app site description, MrGreg plans to update the app to work on JB but there is no timetable.
Thanks for the update,I guess I misunderstood the info on the site.

Well, thanks anyway for thinking of us.
The question is who can deodex this and not break market I tried one by Whitehawkx and then tried deodexing it myself and ended up FCs on swype and samsung keyboard plus broken market
this is old. but the question should be is there a rooted version deodexed
I was forced via OTA to install. Only bug I had after install was bootloop. so i factory reset, wiped cache and davlik and rebooted.
after that i used the Samsung Galaxy S II Toolkit Beta V2.3 from ajster1989. (thanks dude!!! works great!!!) flashed recovery and then rooted.
all seems to be working fine since yesterday. No market FC. Restored all my apps with Titanium and still no issues or FCs.
Running on stock kernel.
Now waiting for ICS on 6/11/2012 install from TMO.

UVLDE is the official update that dropped last week for gingerbread. It includes new, bug-fixed chipset drivers.

DDW is tweaked and debloated (among other things). The best thing the UVLDE update has to offer is the update to the Qualcomm chipset drivers...otherwise it's mostly just another official gingerbread firmware.
I wouldn't suggest doing any official updates from any unofficial firmware. If you want to do the official updates I'd recommend using Odin to return your phone to 100% official firmware before allowing any official update to be applied via Kies or OTA. I personally always use Odin or CWM recovery to apply all firmwares. I don't trust in-place upgrades to install without problems.
Whitehawk has this at rootzwiki

Hi,
Is it possible to install the leaked JB OTA from Google onto a European yakju GSM Gnex?
Or are there any versions out that run?
Thanks for answering.
land.apfel
Edit: This is the leaked version I meant:

Nope, it won't work. The OTA packages currently released only work for a specific version of takju that came with the Play Store's GNex. However you can give one of the ROMs in the dev section a try. I've personally flashed this one and it works marvellously.
YES ! it is !
here's the link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737849
ONLY USE THE LINK IN THAT THREAD. AS FAR AS I KNOW THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT SUPPORTS YAKJU
i tried it with my yakju phone and it is AMAZING! everything is functional.
however, my apps did not "re-download" there-selves, i had to re-download what i wanted.
EDIT: you're gonna have to wipe your data and everything
Jup. I've installed the repack and it works very well!

I thought 4.2 had integrated gapps? Flashed pa's latest 2.99 which is 4.2 and it boots but no gapps. Found some 4.2 gapps and flashed them via twrp and i get market but cam/gallery crash. Am i just stupid wtf?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
It looks like 2.99 is buggy, so it got pulled.
There appears to be a version of the 4.2 apps that will work with PA 2.54, though, if you were only looking for the new apps.

Hi,
I'm currently using YouTube v4.4 for my 4.2.2 ROM. I would like to upgrade to YouTube v5.xx because I love new ui. I installed from the store but video wouldn't play. I also installed the inverted version but getting 401 error. Can someone point me to a working version? Thanks.
There isn't one, unless you're using an evervolv 4.2.2 rom. They're the only 4.2.2 roms that support the latest YouTube updates. I use this rom : http://android.aokforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=306
It's great.
