Well now whenever I receive a phone call I have to press 1 to answer it.. I think it may have been when I was fooling around with google voice.

It's annoying for people you don't want to screen. I believe you can set it as an option in your Google voice settings. You can turn it on/off for everyone or just particular groups. Look under 'Call Settings'. I've attempted to turn it off for 2 groups, but I don't think I've got it sorted all the way out yet, so this may not work.
You can turn it off but you have to do it from a pc as far as I can tell.

Ya must be done on your home computer under Google voice settings.

From your PC, login to your google voice account, then to disable it go to the "Voice settings", click on the "Calls" tab, and then where it says "Call Screening" choose "Off"...
i love my phone but i hate one thing about it. is there a way around the press one to answer crap?
I believe it has to do with your Google voice settings... might have to uninstall it or change its settings online.

You have to disable call screening from settings via voice.google.com

I didn't have any messages on Tmo voicemail since I use Google voice. Press the message to call voicemail. Press 1 to send a message. Walk through sending a message to your mobile number. Once verified as sent, hang up. Call voicemail again and you will actually have a message. Listen to it and press 7 to delete. Icon should go away.

I am going to try this right now. I use google voice also and I have yet to find a way to get that voicemail icon out of the status bar. Hopefully this method will work. Thanks for the info,
How do I enable HD calls? Is there a specific service code I can type in a and check I have it enabled. It doesn't sound like I do.

Make sure the phone on the other end you are speaking to is also HDVoice capable and on the correct network (H/4G/3G) during the conversation. You can find info here in this very forum on the codes to check if WB-AMR is enabled. On mine it is *#0011# From there hit menu key then select "back". Then hit menu key and select "key input". Enter the number 1. Wait a second. Then choose WB-AMR STATUS and see if it is on. I'm running custom ROM so those steps might be a little different than what you'll need to do to check

Do I learned how to get into the secret menu on the Note 4.
Dial *#0011#
It will bring you to a cell service screen.
Then go:
Menu>back
Menu>key input> Q
Menu>key input> 0000
Wait a few seconds and it will take you to a list of a whole bunch of hidden settings and options.
Just an FYI.
***you can mess up things on your phone with these setting so be careful.

How do you select the option to actually enable the HD voice? I get to the screen with the option "enable" and "disable", but just pressing on the option doesn't appear to do anything? Thanks

Yes once you hit the menu button and do the part with Q and 0000 you get to the actual main menu.

1,0 is a disk designator not a enabled / disabled flag.
I did in fact mess my phones connectivity up after using this menu. I unknowingly changed something and it would not connect to my carrier so I couldn't send or receive calls or texts.
I fixed it by going back into the menu and rebuilding the NV in the HW Test section.
...
Any context to those pictures?
Can someone post a pic of hd voice work how the icons look like. I changed the setting but not sure if its working or not. Tia
