i love my phone but i hate one thing about it. is there a way around the press one to answer crap?
I believe it has to do with your Google voice settings... might have to uninstall it or change its settings online.

You have to disable call screening from settings via voice.google.com

Does anyone else get this thing? After I get a call and slide the green accept button, a voice comes on telling me to "Call from %name%, Press 1 to accept".
Does anyone know how to disable this?
I was just about to post this myself.it's very annoying.
If I didn't want to accept the call I wouldn't answer it to begyin with... I'll be following this thread for an answer.

Sound like you install "GOOGLE VOICE" on your phone. It's a great app.

You have google voice call screening enabled. It can be disabled on the web version of google voice in the settings

In the phone log click the menu button and click view by. Then choose all voice calls.

That works but it doesn't stick. I think it resets after a reboot. At least for me it hasn't stuck.

So I'm assuming there is no permanent workaround yet?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S II
Probably not. The phone is still very new and still working out bug in every corner. So it will take some time.

There is a "logsprovider.apk" over on Bonsai that works, I use it fwiw. Just search the quoted term.

I've been using go dialer since I changed my lcd density to 200 which made the default dialer look funny. I like go dialer so far
This must be with the default messaging. I don't see the texts in mine, maybe cause I have Handcent installed.
hey guys i've been having my sprint galaxy nexus for a few weeks now and i think this just recently started happening.
but when i get a call and i answer it the phone will say to accept the call press 1 to send to voice mail press 2...
can i turn this "feature" off?
dont really like having to pull up the dial pad every time i get a call.
Sounds like you are recieving a Google Voice call.
is that what it is
i thought maybe it was. i guess thats when it started happening. i logged off google voice and it still does it.

I'm using the latest aokp ROM and every time I get a call, I swipe to the right to accept it but then I get a prompt sing press 1 to accept or press 2 to send to voice mail. How the hell do I get rid of the prompt and go straight to accepting the call. If I wanted it to go to voice mail I would just reject the call in the first place

Ditto. It's been working since day one for me.
It's not about works, not works, it's about the option to fully integrate Google voice with the OS. If you've been AOSP before, you'll know what I mean

I guess I'm missing something. If I call internationally it automatically bashed the call through Google voice. It works the way it's supposed to

When you go to voicemail settings on an aosp rom, it asks you what you want to use for voicemail, which then let's you select Google voice. On stock Samsung, the voicemail settings panel goes straight into sprint visual voicemail. If you ever go aosp, set up Google voice and you'll notice the difference.
