Hello guyz, i just bought my new htc wildfire android version Froyo 2.2.1
It seems quite slow and just gets stucked at times....
I've deleted some unnecessary apps. but the problem persists.
I need a suggestion on what to do?
Should i root it?
SHOULD I OVERCLOCK IT?
Will replacement of rom increase speed?
Or update to 2.3.5 ?
If so then how ?
PlZ guyz give me some suggestions

Well i've rooted and installed cyanogenmod 7.2 stable
Overclocked and now it runs faster.

If u have speed issues, i suggest using kwbr ROM.
I tried all sort of roms for wildfire (including cyanogenmod), but this one gave best results concerning speed and stability.
Give it a try

I'm quite bored of CM7...
I was jus wondering if there is a stable and fully functional rom for wildfire with sense 3.0 or 3.5..??
I could seriously use some help.. n I guess there are many others wanting something like this..!!
Pls help..!!
yeah i'm looking for something similar
same here, unless CM9 come to wildfire
Can you please search the forums first and then post such questions.. there are number of post regarding this already for which the answer is there is no stable Rom for your requirements.

Sorry no Sense 3.0 for Wildfire as the device fails to meet the roms requirements..Sense 3.5 development for Wildfire was started but was discontinued as devs r busy with ICS..Try Sense 2.1 by Vigidroid

I'd say its the other way round, sense 3 runs fine (it was just never intended for a wildfire) so I'd say the rom doesn't meet the requirements of my device.

Well, I wonder where I can find an updated list with all the ROMs for the Wildfire, because my dad's phone is becoming slow and I want to install a new ROM to speed it up, but he likes Sense, so I'm searching for one as Stock as possible, but with speed improvementes and maybe Beats or other improvements..
The complete wildfire index in the dev section...

I think you should try the MIUI v4(2.8.10),its also using the cm9 core,...but it is more stable...no bugs figured...so have a try..search for this ROM in the Android development section...
I wonder if the CM9 alpha9 and MIUI v4 2.8.10. MIUI is faster than CM9 alpha9, so.. I only wish that there wasn't Polish language .
i personally love paranoid android, but it still uses cm 9 or 10 as a base so its more just like different flavors of the same thing. you should just try them out and see which one you like best.

Most GB Roms that I've tried are rock solid. Way better than the stock froyo. Just my 2 cents...

We generally don't allow "best ROM" threads even for old ROMs.

Hello. I thought, maybe there is any better android choice on htc desire? the main reason is speed, cuz with 4.2.2 android my desire is quite laggy, so i'm thinking maybe with other one it would be better, maybe with one of ICS and etc. Thanks for your advices.
ICS will be just as slow if not slower than 4.2.2 . if u want speed use a non-sense gingerbread ROM.
