I think you should try the MIUI v4(2.8.10),its also using the cm9 core,...but it is more stable...no bugs figured...so have a try..search for this ROM in the Android development section...
I wonder if the CM9 alpha9 and MIUI v4 2.8.10. MIUI is faster than CM9 alpha9, so.. I only wish that there wasn't Polish language .
i personally love paranoid android, but it still uses cm 9 or 10 as a base so its more just like different flavors of the same thing. you should just try them out and see which one you like best.

Hey guys,
I'm quite bored of CM7...
I was jus wondering if there is a stable and fully functional rom for wildfire with sense 3.0 or 3.5..??
I could seriously use some help.. n I guess there are many others wanting something like this..!!
Pls help..!!
yeah i'm looking for something similar
same here, unless CM9 come to wildfire
Can you please search the forums first and then post such questions.. there are number of post regarding this already for which the answer is there is no stable Rom for your requirements.

Sorry no Sense 3.0 for Wildfire as the device fails to meet the roms requirements..Sense 3.5 development for Wildfire was started but was discontinued as devs r busy with ICS..Try Sense 2.1 by Vigidroid

I'd say its the other way round, sense 3 runs fine (it was just never intended for a wildfire) so I'd say the rom doesn't meet the requirements of my device.

Hey guys I thought it would be interesting to start a poll to find out what are the android versions that people are using on our 2+years old HTC Desire.
For me, I'm running ics.. what about you guys???

Most are using Gingerbread. Some are on ICS. Any user who is still on Froyo at this point probably doesn't have any idea about rooting and or XDA or just wanna be left alone in the past.
No need for a poll or a thread really.

Ye.
Best rom thread with a flavor twist.
I'm on ICS now (miui v4)
MIUI 2.3 working perfectly
ICS too ! With the rom of dk_zero-cool.
Everything runs fast on my old device
would be interesting who is still on 2.1
I think that was the shipping version, right?
Still using xj miui 2.3
Currently on off GB, downloading runnymede's sense 3.5 rom

I'm on Miui ICS... !!! Best ROM ever
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA
I'm using ICS from DK_Zero-Cool (v3.3u1). Most stable one i've experienced until now
MIUI XJ since New year, probably will try with some Sense ROM soon
I'm still using CM7.2 RC1. Very stable and fast.
Could anyone explain to me why everybody is so hyped about ICS? I mean I appreciate what the devs of ICS ROMs do and it's great that they make ICS possible on our old Desires.
I tried Sandvold's ROM and BCM. They're quite good and making good progess, but I always came back to CM7.
I actually don't see a point in switching to ICS (yet) unless you like flashing and testing new ROMs, because CyanogenMod 7 and other 2.3 ROMs seem more stable and faster and they have all the features ICS offers.
Is it the looks of ICS or just that it's new and you want to test it?
I'll probably switch over eventually, but at the moment I'm just curious what you like about ICS.
So yeah the title explains it all
What do you think its more stable and for normal day use?

Is that makes it "the best rom"?
That depends on you what u want from the rom. If u are non-sense lover CM7 is best till date.If u r sense lover you have many options to choose from.I personally like wildchild.
Sent from my Wildfire S using XDA
If you want stability for everyday use I would recommend CM7 (no sense) and m1ndh4x8r (sense).
With this question you are likely to get a different opinion in each answer.
What does mean "best" in this case?
If we talk about best performance, I got high score using sense 2.1 m1ndh4x8r, EQDKP 3.5 m1ndh4x8r, CM9 by modpunk and ofcourse my stock rom oc kernel too
If we talk about best performance + UI, my answer is CM9 by modpunk for now. That the reason why im using it for now

Me too I like sense and Wildchild is my Rom
Send from my Wildfire S Rom : Wildchild Lite v1. 1
In my opinion based on my personal experience:
Best Sense 2.1 Rom - Hensemod 7
Best Sense 3.5 Rom - GB2.3.5 idogx base - OC [m1ndh4x8r mod]
Best ICS (as of this date) - CM9 ICS by modpunk
For me those are the best in terms of performance and stability.
Now I am looking forward to this rom:
ICS Sense 4 - https://github.com/wfsdev/marvel-golf-port/tree/6046f437fa6430076eba15acb77dbab8d1d25d26

I've heard this question too many times before. The best is your own customizations and tweaks. Make a ROM, if you can't then edit stock, if you don't like stock then try every ROM out there.
It's your opinion and phone. Not ours.

ICS Sense 4 will be the ultimate rom once it's done.
Really excited to have it working. Tried to build your source, but it didn't work.
Guess there's still a lot of modding to do. Cheers to you and your team!

Mate ...you got people all worked up over this idea...Yea do it,compile it with your kernel...and if you want to try that new stuff you told me about..you can make separate one for testing.I am willing to give it a shot..just PM me with test kernel.
Best of luck m8
Just out of interest really. I'm using GB. Tried some ICS ROM's and they didn't cut it for me. I find GB to be far better than ICS on this device, because it just works with very little hassle at all. By the time ICS is fully-working on the Wildfire S, Android will be beyond Jelly Bean, probably into version 5 or 6. So seems kinda pointless. But that's my opinion.
Anyway, which do you guys prefer to run on your WFS? Poll included, but also feel free to comment below.
I'm still on GB.I use camera a lot, and it's not working as it should on ICS.Once it's fixed, I will use ICS.
GB, until ICS is bug-free.
I run ICS on my other, non-important phone.
GB
i am using MIUI v4 2.7.6 by Henry_01. Its amazing and its battery life is more than what i got in any version of GB . And the camera is now functional in ICS
ICS
But sometimes i switch to GB
