Was updating it through kies and fecking thing corrupted dont know why.
I can get into downlload mode and that is it, just saying using recovery in kies to install firmware.
Anybody got a stock rom, Or a lick to a euro rom im form Ireland, tried looking in the devleopement thread but cant find any roms to match where i live.
Also will be using odin if i can
Get a offical EUR ROM (you can find in this forum) and flash with odin.

No go dont have euro rom on it well not that i can see

cheers andy downloaded a euro rom and flashed it there with odin Got start up now will back up to my old rom and wait for cm9

BTW, this is not Romanian ROM. It is Multi-CSC, English OK, no branding from Local Carrier.....in CSC OXX means Multi-CSC, so it's OK and safe.

KJ6 Just means it is 2011-10-v6.....but it is 2.3.6........
KK1 means 2011-11-v1........

OXX means Multi-CSC, which supports many Euro Languages, including English(Ireland)....but without Meteor or EMobile shyte.
CSC = Customer Sales Code or Consumer Software Customisation??
In Phone/PDA:
XX means Region....Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
KK1 means Year 2011 Month November Revision 1
[Year 2001 = A........Year 2011 = K]...........[Month Jan = A......... Month December = L]

Thought that all right. Will do tomorrow but have a problem. Messages Will not send no matter what i do. Strange thing is everything seems to be in order. I have the right service number and well that's all i can find or think off.
Any ideas or would it be a problem with the version of the Rom. Can't see it as i could send messages with use kp custom rom.

well if its only for one day I suggest to leave it
the XXLA2 runs so much smoother
before installing don't forget to wipe everything

Id say that could be the problem that i wasnt able to wipe data when installing the new rom.. Will flash cwm and download that rom and see how that goes

Wipe everything ,even the Dalvick cache
I download the rom Sammobil. com, have to register there, but they have all Roms
SO thats not the right rom i downloaded.
Edit: It is according to sammobile so will go ahead and see how it works

XXLA2....means Phone/PDA F/W

OXXKL4........CSC values are ambiguous???
OXX...........means OXX means unbranded Multi-CSC, which supports many Euro Languages

But then there is the XEU....does this refer to CSC also???

AS for Messages not being sent, you set up the APN's for your provider???

May be important, as I don't think all Irish Providers are included in the generic CSC xml files, like customer.xml, thers.xml, etc......
Im with meteor. Checked there and few of the settings seem to be different also few more on the phone that are not listed on the website, so going to give them a ring. Flashing the new rom as i type so see if that has any effect

Would there be any speed and battery improvement from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 ?

Just got back to UK from holiday in Asia
Now S Note is broken, just crashes. I think this is connected to language selection.
I have 2 downloaded input languages for samsung keyboard, English UK and Thai but cannot delete either. other languages i download can be deleted.
There are 2 possible reasons for the Thai having being downloaded
The guy where I bought the local sim in Bangkok downloaded it or the more likely reason of a major update being installed while in Bangkok.
I have tried factory reset but Thai still downloaded.
any ideas how I can remove Thai download?
phone details are:
Note 2 n7105
android: 4.1.2
baseband: N7105NEDMJ2
Build Number: JZ054KN7105XXDMJ1

My phone is not rooted and I do not mind either way.
I have reinstalled using Kies still got dual language though.

U can check your csc And see what's your phone sales code. U can change the sakes code by entering a code in the phone dialer and then update the firmware. Cant remember of u need root

Hye guys, not sure if this has been answered before - I did try and search all around for answers.
I have a note 10 + purchased in Australia - due to the delay in carrier updates I flashed a UK firmware (though the same SM-N975 firmware) for quicker updates.
However now that I have flashed back to my AU firmware - it seems the vendor file has been overridden and is locked possibly. As everytime I install a new firmware the set up screen shows in French until I switch the language to English AU. Once set up everything works fine apart from Samsung Members app - it shows in French which I now believe is due to the vendor file being locked?
Ive tried to odin flash Userdata with the Home CSC and CSC but no luck.
Any insight would help

When i switched csc from ITL (italian) to THL (Thailand) samsung members changed from italian to Thailand even though i have english(uk) as the only language installed, even samsung pay and some others
Hey guys can someone help understand this error. I've taken a screen shot of it
It seems that this error is causing my Samsung members to be in French.
Another issue is software version showing XEF/XEF/VAU. Which is linked to the whole French language thing.
I've tried flashing using the original Vodafone firmware but doesn't seem to overwrite the current XEF revision
a bit more detail would help; you have what model with what firmware and trying to install what firmware?

So originally I had purchased a note 10 plus sm-n975f model from Vodafone Australia. During the course of flashing using Odin it seems I may have flashed a BTU firmware which has made the default language French. I have since tried to flash original Vodafone Au firmware using home CSC and CSC however this error pops up. It seems it won't over write the CSC

If worst comes to worst...or just for ease, look into the app SamKey. Will allow you to change your csc without root.

Last week I got A50. During first boot of system I didnt inserted SIM card ant it seems that it triggered installing firmware for diferent region. Im located in Serbia but firmware is for Turkey and I have many apps on turkish language without posibility to change language in those apps.
Is any method to change CSC?

Nope, Im totaly disapointed in comunity in section for model A50. There is no answers, there is no tutorials, there is no custom roms except two of them, and I will probably sell this phone.

you should download https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a50/firmware/SM-A505F/TUR/download/A505FDDU4BTC9/330469/ this version, and use odin to flash it in your phone. Keep the sim in the phone for the process, because with that it will verify you are in turkey.
Although in odin the process may work if you use the HOME_CSC file to keep the data of your phone intact, i would suggest using the other file, because with that you'll have a fresher device
