Galaxy Note 2 screen have black lines issue. - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What should I do folks?
Yesterday I spotted a fine black line sitting about 1/3 in potrait mode. Today another line showed up about 2/3 down the portrait mode. This lines couldn't be notice easily. But I use the flashlight for the screen and they showed up.
I am afraid that they could get worst over time and my screen warranty only has another 4 months to go before I can't claim any damages from the Samsung dealer.

Scartch enough to void warrenty?

I was going to start the warranty process for my Galaxy S III today with AT&T. Upon inspecting the phone (after removing it from my PureGear DualTek case) I noticed a scratch on top of the phone near the top microphone. The scratch appears to be pretty deep. I am wondering what everybody's opinion is on this and whether or not you all think it is enough to void my warranty. If more or, clearer pictures are requested I can certainly take them. My camera which is a 14MP Sony CyberShot, had a lot of difficulty focusing on the phone so any advice on taking a picture of the scratch would be taken.
Side note: I generally have the phone in the case. I do not believe I have dropped it without the case on it. I am not sure if it was caused by the DualTek case, however, the case is pretty hard to remove and the scratch is angled in the direction that I slide the phone out of the case. I remove the phone from the case once in a while to change batteries because I am not always near a charger.
I highly doubt this would be enough reason to void your warranty.
What are you going to return the phone for?

My headphone jack is damaged. I can not hear sound out of the left side of any set of headphones I use. I ran OTA updater, tried factory reset, and PowerAmp / Google Play Music and nothing.
i'd ship it back and warrenty it , only a scratch , it's cosmetic :")
Can I directly contact Samsung support? Or does AT&T handle all warrenty claims for phone bought from them?

U can go directly to att.
If it's bought withing 30 days any att store will provide warranty.
If it's over 30 days u have to go to att device support Centre. I can even call them or chat with them. But I will say go there personally if one is near by you so u can replace it quickly if they have it in stock.
I got mine replaced in 30 mins from device support Centre.

I exchanged mine through warranty with a scratch like that about 3 weeks ago. The issue with mine was the it stopped reading my SIM card. When the rep asked if there was any domestic damage, I mentioned the scratch and he (the rep) said that was fine. As long as the screen was great ..I'd be ok.

[Q] Replacing a cracked screen

Hi All,
So my 6 month old GSM Nexus fell out of my pocket and landed face down on the floor of my local pharmacy. The result is now I have a nice crack running from the upper right hand corner down about 1/2 inch to the left hand side. Thankfully the crack is hard to see when you're looking straight down at the phone but I know it's there and it is visible when looking off-center.
I contacted Samsung and they quoted me about $190 to repair the phone. Calling local places in NYC yielded prices within $10 of the Samsung price.
Now I remember reading a while back that other users who sent their phones to Samsung received their phones back and somehow the repair got covered as a warranty repair (not sure about this as there was never any followup post past "WOHOO, IT SAID WARRANTY AND MY CARD DIDN'T GET CHARGED!!!!1")
Has anyone here had their screen fixed by Samsung within their first year of owning the device?

Yellow spot on screen

I have a yellow spot on the screen much like this post
It gets worse when hot and has a slight tint when colder. Should I return the phone to HTC for repair?
Does anyone else have it? Saw someone here have it
Mine went away after a week or two.
Did you do anything specific to make it go away?
I'll wait a week. I already opened a ticket with them.
Note: if your device is not received at our repair center within 30 days, the repair order will be closed
That's most probably the glue used to stick the LCD.
You know how to make it leave? It gets really bad on high heat...
Did you try what was suggested in the first link you posted in the OP?
few devices have a problem of this yellow spot so u can send it to service centre

[Q] Reset Flash Counter with broken screen

I might be buying a galaxy note 2 with a broken screen in the next day or so but I wanted to know if it is possible to reset the flash counter even if the screen is completely black? The guy just bought it in November and he has all receipts and box etc., it doesn't have a cracked screen or any cosmetic damage. He says he dropped it and the screen went black, so I'm going to try to get it replaced under the 1 year warranty.

General Fold 3 after year usage protective layer pulled it self out, and warranty experience

I am pasting what i just have posted on Facebook.
So this is a known problem with fold 3 worldwide.
We are paying INR 1.5 LAKH for a phone which can survive only a year maximum. If someone's warranty is over so is the money invested on phone.
Now people with phone's warranty left like me - do these people have time to backup, reset, and restore all official files, apps and data? Which anyhow won't be restored like the orignal phone. Time to visit service center leaving their important work, just because samsung sold us an expensive garbage device.
Anyhow As my phone was still in warranty, after many calls and coordinations company changed the inner display in 5 days and with a new defect this time. Front display the outer one popping out of frame. Service center asked me to leave the device so they'll fix it, so they started playing with my device to fix the issue. After hit and miss they called me to pickup the device, as per them it's perfectly fine. I visited and issue was still there now they want me to belive that this light which i can see between display and bezel is perfectly fine. Basically after spending 1.5 lakh inr, samsung wants us to accept the device the way they
Can fix at there best. Sorry Samsung I won't accept the phone like this and its lying in your service center. All this time what i have lost? Fuel for driving towards service center, my official hours, my peace of mind, and trust in samsung. I have a flight tomorrow and have to buy a new phone just for this trip.
People reading this if u have ever got ur device repaired from Samsung do look for the light coming between display and bezel, i am saying this because at service center they showed me more already repaired devices and almost every device had same problem.
Plenty of people have Fold 3s that are just fine after just over a year now. Put a case on your phone and you won't see whatever you are trying to show in the pic, which is not clear, but looks like the screen.
if my device breaks within a year, samsung WILL fix it, if they dont, it goes back to amazon for a refund.
who's bothered by this.
I'm not.
