What ROM are you using?
Pressing "Thanks" button will be much appreciated if user's posts useful for you
sometimes it's a result of bad data(didn't wipe it before new install). Or trying to tweak you rom and did it wrong. you could reflash your rom or you could backup your apps through titanium backup. do a fresh start(wipe every thing) and install apps again, and if some apps need downloaded data(games) they will download new data that are compatible with your current rom.
Press the Thanks button if i helped

i dont know how to reflash my ROM. i just did some research and is that i need to install the CWM ?
if you don't know what is your current rom, i guess its stock rom. maybe there is some corrupted apps or your data maybe. try checking your memory card through pc.

hmmmm...
first, to know what rom you're using, go to Home>Menu>Settings>(scroll down to the bottom)>About Phone>
then you will see something like this :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and try to post here a screen shot or if you cannot provide one, just type here all the info you can see so we'll know about your phone...
then, if your case is that you're on stock rom now, i guess, either you reflash your stock rom (or try other stock roms) or if you already have there stock cwm, you can wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition then reboot, or just flash a new one (you must be rooted then just follow the steps on how to flash custom roms via cwm)
hope this helps... ^___^
thanks for your quide.

[MOD] [JB4.1+][AOSP+OTA] Super PowerMenu | Reboot & Recovery | DIY Instructions Avail
INTRODUCTION
Hi everyone, so a while back I created the Enhanced Power Menu for ICS (right here) and now that Jelly Bean it out it's time to do it all over again.
This mod adds the reboot and reboot to recovery options to the standard power button menu in Android 4.1+ Jelly Bean.
FEATURES
Reboot from Power Menu
Reboot to recovery from Power Menu
[*]Long press Recovery on power menu to reboot to Bootloader! (4.1.1 only)
[*]OR: Long press Reboot on power menu to reboot to Recovery! (4.1.1 only)
SCREENSHOTS
First screenshot: Reboot & Recovery menu with (option) to Long Press Recovery for Bootloader in 4.1.1
Second screenshot: Reboot menu with Long Press Reboot for Recovery in 4.1.1

COMPATIBILITY
There are versions below for both Android 4.1 (the Google I/O dump) and Android 4.1.1 AOSP builds available below.
This will break any mods you've made to either framework-res.apk or android-policy.jar. You can check if these files are touched by other mod by inspecting the files that came with that mod.
If for any reason your ROM or mod are incompatible with the Enhanced Power Menu the likely result is a bootloop. If you're not familiar with adb in recovery then make sure you make a backup in recovery!
REQUESTS
None accepted sorry, there are too many mod variations out their to satisfy them all so I won't even try.

The attachment was not working for me so I've re-upped it (edit, it's not working). XDA is having issues with attachment today... it'll come back.
Ok Thank You I got it to download now.
Edit: Works good thanks.
The attached zip failed for me (d3rp, just read you knew that already), primary DL flashed fine and works on bigxie's build (assuming that was the deodexed version you were referring to?).
Thanks.
Now if someone would give us the quiet hours feature that would be all I need

You'll have to restore from backup I'm afraid (try a battery pull and cache wipe first though). What changes were in your system partition? GSM I assume?

Not only did he quote himself to a feature request on the last page, but it's also in the OP.
With that said, I'm sure we will be seeing more MOD's and JB ROM's coming within the next few weeks, with JB officially launching and source being dropped..
Thanks man. Works perfectly for me. Again, thanks man.

Do give it a bit of time, it will take longer to boot but not more than 60 seconds. What exact ROM are you using?
djmcnz, thanks!
But can you write manual how to do it with full description of android.policy.jar editing? I'm porting some elements from framework-res.apk of modaco rom, and fully port android.policy.jar. It works, but I can't understand, how it works.
Sweet will flash when I get home the no reboot option is annoying

ROM POLICY / Disclaimer:
I will not be held responsible if any mishaps while/after flashing will occur (please follow the instructions posted here to avoid issues). This Rom may or may not work for you, therefore please don't expect full compatibility on all firmware versions (custom/stock). But theoretically it should work on all stock roms.
By flashing this rom, you must understand that the developer reserves the right to add/omit some apps, please make sure you do a backup of your apps and a nandroid backup to restore previous installed apps.
Lastly, you as an Android user must understand that rom development takes time and effort, therefore requests may or may not be addressed quickly but please feel free to review and send bug reports so I can sort it out by releasing update fixes.

Maby the rom is not good.
Any way thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for this rom, even though it doesn't seem to work for any users. Flashed it using CMW, following your steps 3 times and flashed it with Stock recovery 2 times. None worked. Hopefully, (thanks to you), I had a NANDroid backup and still can use my phone. Thanks a lot for your time and effort and I hope the next beta will work.
BTW, I was in stock rom.
Excuse me, I have this telephone and I waited for months a custom rom. Will you add italian language? I'll also wait for a stable one, before installing it.

Guys, seriously hit thanks button of first post of developer!!!
For this phone there is very less people as HCFroyd247 (developers).. And you guys should be grateful for them.. I'm grateful for anyone who creates Rom for my 6102! as its really hard job.. Believe me I'm trying to do it myself..
He doesn't need your thanks to develop this Rom.. But it helps morally to see appreciation.. Even if Rom is not booting now.. He has made an effort to create custom Rom for you guys..
So please be more appreciative.. You won't loose anything by hitting thanks button... And then you can ask him to fix things not before..
Only 1 thanks??? That too from GT-S6102 phone user!! Very bad friends... So from now on first thank dev's.. Then politely suggest features to add or fix!!
Because they are not doing for themselves.. They are doing it for YOU!!
hit thanks button! if above post helps u..

Yes I have the same question. In toolbox kit 2.0 is is specifically for the LJ1 build. Hoping I can get back rooted soon...

I was rooted using Chainfire's method. I had done nothing else to the phone. I updated using this zip and it worked just fine. I then had to reapply chainfires root. So far so good.

THIS MOD IS ONLY FOR THE .55 FW. It works on both - odexed and deodexed rom.
Installation : -
1. Download the zip file and place it on your internal storage.
2. Please search for this line in your build.prop - "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" and just delete that line if present.
3. Reboot into CWM and flash the zip.
4. Reboot normally and enjoy. In case you have bootloops, wipe cache and dalvik cache. [ Mostly nothing will happen ]
5. Press the thanks button.

Is it lose the background color?
None screen button is displayed. I had bootloop but it was fixed by wiping cache & dalvik. I'm on stock .55 FW, unlocked bootloader. Any ideas? I see in your image you have a different kernel.

No idea why it happened. I have myself tried on stock ICS, deodexed and odexed. It booted perfectly fine without wiping anything. As for the kernel, I am using Rayman's FX OC edition kernel.

Tried it again and the problem persists -- none button is displayed. Is the kernel that you use for unlocked bootloaders? If so, please give me the link in order to flash it. I'm using CWM v2 which has problems with cache
Can´t mount /cache/recovery/last_log
Can´t open /cache/recovery/last_log

Firstly, the problem of "can't open /cache/..." can be fixed by doing a "wipe data/factory reset" in CWM. Secondly, I don't think that the kernel actually matters. The only thing that matters is a line in build.prop which may be affecting the buttons. Please check your build.prop if it has a line like this - qemu.hw.mainkeys=1. If it is 1 then the on-screen buttons won't work. If you don't find the line at all, add it like this - qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Now it should work.:good:

You're right. My build.prop had that value set to 1, I'll change it to 0. On the other hand, by doing a wipe data/factory reset I'll lose all my apps data, right? I don't wanna do that and reinstall all the apps again.
[EDIT] Now it's working good. Thank you.

Yes you would lose your data but by wiping it, the problem gets fixed at least on my phone. Thanks for letting me know that it wasn't working. I will update the installation instructions now.:good:
Flashed this on XZX v2 which is based on .55.. after reboot, the system ui stopped working. Had no access to menu or anything, it kept crashing continuously. Did a Dalvik and cache reset, didnt fix it.. I had to reflash the XZX v2 ROM in order to get it working. This did enable the onscreen buttons now.
However, I still feel that button size to be little bigger than what I would like. Is a NOOB and would like to know if I can disable these onscreen buttons. Please help.

XZX is heavily themed so I would not recommend to flash this mod at all. This mod replaces your framework-res.apk and it would probably have broken some configurations of your rom. Hence you were experiencing force closes. Anyway, to disable the mod, open your build.prop and add this line - qemu.hw.mainkeys=1

Fantastic work! Have been searching for this for a long, loooong time! \m/
OP, really nice work! Just a little request: is there any chance to "align" the on-screen buttons with the physical ones?
Thank you

If you look at XZX thread, you will see that I've made some OSB size modifications. You can use them.
Great mod! But How can I disable the hw buttons and if I disable them, how can I use the option function ( I mean function of the right one HW buttons)

Here is the guide to disable hw buttons - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2039750
I don't seem to understand the "option function"? There are three keys- home, menu and back. By options I think that you mean menu. Menu will appear as three dots one beneath another, the location depending on the application you use.
Slightly off topic - Are you a Linkin Park fan?

I am experiencing the same keyboard error, also once i was able to install Google's Keyboard it went away. Had to revert back to my backup because I rebooted the phone and it refused to start, every time I would get a message to wait or FC and it would just reboot and give the same error.
