Hi world
i could port the CTR-ON to SGSII,
actually it is different from the source i got , but with some modification and addition it works 100% on SGSII
so first of all thnx to [email protected] for the source
for the ppl who don't know what is the difference between CRT On & Off, it is the same beam that u got on off-screen , but this time u will have it once u on the screen too.
it is different from JKAY mod
this one is built in in the system
now , i made this one compatible with 2.3.6 ROMs, but it should also works with 2.3.5 (NOT TESTED YET)
also I added the needed modification for those who like BLN for SMS, so IT will work also with them
all what u need is to move my file to system/framework, and reboot
it should works fine
note that this mod is only for DEODEXED ROMs

If u read the OP again with ur eyes then u will know that this mod is different from jkay !

i don't know about jkay but this will get u exactly the negative of crt-off
edit: i.e the full effect ,, i port from HTC
Dont understand what you mean by built into the system. But mine is also built into the system. I actually did not add anything I just enabled something that was already in the system.
But I will take a look... Hope that you fixed the crt effect.

well, UR modding is like creating a new way to handle the whole system which is intelligent
u didn't release source to know how to handle it
but as (user) it is as like as 3rd party application
in here it is in the system core

Nope its not working. Im running Gingermod 0.7 and thats got Jkays mods already built into it, which i suspect is the problem.
I pushed your service.jar file to system/framework, got a message asking to replace, clicked yes, disabled CRT on off in Jkay mod and rebooted.
Again i gotta say iam tottaly proud that an arabian like me is such a great dev the rocks thx allot man wish id become a great dev like u one day

With this mod you can turn flashlight on, by pressing home-button while in lockscreen. Attached sources for devs. Those are for LP4 ROM.
CWM flashable zip for deodexed lp4/lp3 in this post. See links for other firmwares. That zip also contains 4-Way reboot in power menu and ICS-lockscreen.

I made CWM flashable zip on top of Wanam's LP4 rom files. It should work other lp4/lp3 rom's also. That zip also contains 4-Way reboot in power menu. Backup before flashing.

Is it from miui v4 (based on cm, or based on Sammy stock)?
I am not sure if this mod needs certain system files that will differ from aosp and Sammy source

Not sure.. sbrissen made this to aosp for fascinate, but cant tell for sure without seeing cm files.

That rom has lp4 version also, so in that it should work. Just remember that this contains framework-res.apk so it will make your theme to stock look after flash.

First zip is sources for devs like it says... its not flashable zip.
Only change in framework-res is that i added image when torch is on. I guess that there can be used like background wallpaper id instead. Then
it will only affect android.policy.jar.
So yes, it can be made.

This is compatible with that. It seems thought that if you launch apk from lockscreen with that myhome, then it flashs the led, so maybe i add wait for that voicetalk command. I look that when i have time.

Yes, but that will need new apk. I suck at making apk. That myhome does exactly that, so look into that one. Also jkays apk have that kind of options.

USAGE :
I’m using this pack on latest Omega V38 with Siyah Kernel 1.8.9 and all ressources are working well.
This mod has been made by collecting and modifying apk and ressources grabbed on different thread. (All credit goes to developpers)
I’ m using it since two day and i do not encountered any problem so it should work for all (all files where extracted from my phone).

Reboot in recovery

Ok. I tried only the "android.policy.jar" and "services.jar" from the zip because I don't want to loose the other customizations (I'm on FoxHound v1.8). The result is that I gain the CRT-OFF effect and the torch but I lost the ink effect. Do you know how can I fix this?

You dont see the ink effect or it doesnt appears in lockscreen /settings / Ink Effect ?
Did you take the file in system etc permissions ?

I' ve tested on ZSEMA1 , XXEMA1 apparently has no difference...
If you are on another version please make a test , take 5 min to make your backup and test my pack it' ll help

I have the option in the lockscreen menu but there its no ink on the screen; only the water effect.
Pretty sure that come from framework
If u want try a backup in recovery and flash my full pack and look what is going on
If no good result just recover ure backup
That will take 20 min max of ure time (rollbackup included) :highfive:

Dear XDAmembers this my first post on Xda. There are pleanty of JB custom roms for I9100 with lots of modification ,what if anyone want to be on stock and enjoy some of the great features not available on stockRom .
Here are some mods compatible with the firmware odexed XWLSD ,i have tested ripple effect,multiwindow,transparent accuweather n status bar mod ,all work fine. The coolest one is status bar mod ,i havent seen this on any other rom ,(on the top right corner there is lock icon to lock your screen, and this mod also changes your battery icon 2 green circle and remove brightness bar)check it yourself.
Remember that for flashing these mods you will need a cwm recovery , it is not possible to flash with that stock
Tested AND working on XWLSD stock ODEX
Here you will find a folder on dropbox with all the files of this mod tested on firmware. (credits to PasqualeLucanoDOC81)

Thanks for sharing your mods here. we should think about it . Instead of having different threads of different mods 4 one rom , we should post all the mods related to one particular rom in one single thread. In this way it will be easier I think. Hope u all will like this idea.

Hello, I searched alot for a multi window mode that works on i9100 XWLSW jelly bean version.
I found a cool mod (you may probably know it) here on XDA that also has Ripple Lock Screen and more additions. The problem is that is for deodexed and not for my stock XWLSW.
Could you please give me a mod (like that but just multi window is also enough if you can't find ripple) that is for the stock rom I have?
use neatrom lite by sale .. it has both multiwindow and ripple effect working

I will consider using neatrom / xblast.
I already flashed ripple and multi window doesn't really matter for me.
Anyway it's just cool. I am planning to try a custom rom also soon.

That's cool If you want the stability of stock rom though, but would like all the goodies that come with having a custom rom, Xsposed Installer is the mutz nutz! It allows you to customise your rom like it's custom anyhowz!!

I installed it once when I had CM 10.1.3 . I am probably going to install it on the stock rom.
By the way, Do you know some cool modules that also support stock jelly bean 4.1.2 with Touchwiz?

Disable Clear Defaults
EnableCallRecording
Ex-Themer (ICS/JB)
No Increasing Ringtone
Play Store link in App info
Received SMSes' Sent Times in Details

Nice! I will take a look of these, I really want a module that allows widgets on touchwiz lockscreen (there is, but for android 4.2). I saw you have AOSP lockscreen module. I will probably try it too. I am looking for modules with cool features.
I wanted to use Tinted Status Bar, but it looks bad with the touchwiz status bar icons, I see you have some modules that allow changing icons, I will try that. Thanks.

i used it with LSW and work fine -(i used in deodex version )
mod modify systemUI -framework and other thinghs -but are same in lss-lsw.........
remember nandroid bak

My point exactly "DEODEXED"!! OP has "ODEXED" rom, & perhaps he doesn't want to flash a "DEODEXED" stock rom just to have these tweaks!!

STOCK firmware are odexed

Hahaha, I know stock is "odexed" & custom rom is "deodexed" thanks all the same, BUT we ALREADY established that there is "NO" XWLSW odexed version for the OP to download from the link you provided him! :cyclops:

if there is a problem after flash..................restore nandroid
how i said systemUI and framework are same in lsd/lsw....will be flashed SecSetting.apk modified with alliance control

Well unfortunately, the link you provided doesn't give installation instructions!!
Perhaps if you'd have provided him with this link: ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37186930 ) he could have learnt from the other members questions & answers that you flash in CWM recovery!

Just thought I'd let you know, I flashed the V2.4 STOCK THEMED LSD ODEXED, as you said it had the same framework & sui as XWLSW! & for your information I got soft brick & wouldn't boot past splashscreen! :good:
As you already stated, you flashed it on deodexed firmware, & although it may have worked for you, it doesn't help people when you just post a link to mods that can soft brick if you don't know what you're doing! :cyclops:
& YES I did nandroid/wipe cache/wipe dalvik cache, before you ask, because I know to do this! (not everybody does!!)

i said used it in deodex rom
BEFORE flash see in system if you have a free space --mod is 74mb
if you are noob read before -or use stock but dont stress me-OK?
