[Q] Echo in call

Anyone face echo in call? I can hear myself sometimes in call...
Handwritten from my Note 2
i was talking to the wife using bluetooth handsfree from the car the other day and she said she could hear her own voice .
i put that down to her hearing herself back through the cars speakers though.
OP: If you're hearing yourself. Does it happen to everybody or just one specific person? If you have a cover/case on your phone ensure that the bottom and top mic is not being blocked. Ask the other person on the other end the same.

I was having the same problem. First i thought it was bad reception but then i realised there is a "call settings" menu on the phone app. Under call settings menu "my sound" has some options to change your voice clearity. That worked for me.
Phone tap.
@ _delice_doluca_: This helped i think ! THANKS !

Note 2 stop ringing if set to sound and vibrate

Hi,
I have a strange problem and I really don't know how to solve it.
The problem is related to the sound when ringing.
If I set the "sound and vibrate" checkbox in Sounds, then the phone rings and vibrate a little and then stop the sound.
The screen still show the incoming call and the caller still hear that the phone is ringing.
The ring sound sometimes stop immediately after it's starting, sometimes ring 1, 2, 3 ... times.
BUT, if I unchecked the "sound and vibrate", the phone ring normally, as long as the caller keep the call open.
Does anyone met the same strange behavior?
The ROM is stock 4.1.1 XXALIJ, rooted with CF-auto-root.
At this moment I don't have any sound manager / profile manager installed.
I tried also to clear cache from recovery, but nothing.
What could be the cause?
What can I try to make it acting as it should?
Regards,
Stefan
I hope it is not affected by any motion settings, i.e you are covering the screen with your palm or turn it over?
If you are asking if I'm covering the phone with my hand, or if I'm turning it WHEN it's ringing, the answer is NO
But if you are asking if I have these options checked in settings, the answer is YES. I have them checked.

Check Phone settings > Answering and Ending Calls. Turn off Voice Control if it is turned on.
Check Accessibility settings to see if an option to announce callers is turned on there.

No incoming calls on the watch

I just configured my new GW46 with my Pixel 2XL.
So far all works like a charm except I don't get incomming calls notifications thus not able to answer incomming calls. I can however make call on the watch. Weird.
I checked in Gear app and there is no incomming call option in notification. All permissions to Gear app and plugin are there.
Any suggestions?

Notifications during call

Does anyone know if you can disable notification alerts while you are on a call? Sometimes it can be annoying having a dig in your ear while talking to someone.
Try Settings > Apps/Notifications > Advanced > Special App Access > Do Not Disturb and turn it on for Phone.
This was provided as a fix for the incoming notifications when using the camera by Android Police. Camera is supposed to be on by default but apparently isn't for some, leading to notifications coming in, vibrating and blurring video from the vibrations. I would test it to make sure it doesn't interfere with ringer/etc.
Thank you, I will give it a shot.
